with this rom installed whenever I try to beam or bt a file or pic, my device freezes, I had the same problem with dcd 3.2.5, does anyone know how to solve this issue.
I treyd cooking the rom a few times but no luck.
Interesting thing that it happens like 10 - 15 minutes after hard reset.

Good luck. I've posted twice that my BT is totally dysfunctional (does not turn on at all) with the recent dcd roms and haven't gotten any useful response. I'm just waiting for a modified version of the official release to come out. It was suggested that I have a problem with BT drivers.. ?? Whatever that means for me... Don't get me wrong, I appreciate all the hard work that's gone into these roms.

when i flash this rom v3.3.1_3g_16_keys or the Insomnia 3G, i get problems with my dialer, When i press the phone button or try to dial a number i get a crash screen? it is not working. what to do?
I flashed to Radio 1.71.09.01 and also with this radio the 3G version roms are not working, the dialer part, still the blur sreen when i press the send button or try to dial a number!
The Insomnia - 2G are running without any problem at all? or the current one, is running smooth on my Niki 100 >>> Clean Black 6.5.2
Why i cant run the 3G roms? video dialer not supported in my country? or what - please any comments!

Finally someone who is dealing with the same problems as I had.
I had the same problems with my other Nike, I could flash the original rom's or a 2g version but not the 3g version.
The problem wasn't 3g but only the dialer.
Randomelements suggest me to see if I had some bad blocks by using mtty, I didn't try that option because I sold my Niki, and now, after a short period of using an Iphone (that I didn't like at all) i finally have a Nike which is not having that issue.
I know it drives you mad because nobody has having that problem, the only thing I did was searching for a dialercab and I always installed it after I flashed a 3g rom.
I know this is not a real solution but I'm very curious if you can fix this issue.
(or maybe you get your hands on my old Nike )

I always use the customRUU with hard / soft reset option build in when i flash and i do a hard reset...
Good this possibly make any sense if do or not reset hard....
i have the same problem. i think it is insomnia 3.x problem.
in my case after hard reset i flashed new rom - ok,
i set up all settings, install xt9 - rom stuck. ok, hardreset.
set up again, is ok, but after 1 day it can't boot. ok
hardreset, flash again, hardreset, no set up, using clean rom,
next day can't boot up.
flash new radio, newest, older, the same problem.
fail.
flash NIKI Clean Black - works perfect - fast and smooth.
Are you guys flashing back to an original rom?
My niki was stuck in a loop not too long back, would not boot up properly, thought it had given up the ghost, it is a company phone so was going back to original t-mob rom. But this cured my problem, phone now works fine with any rom.
Try it, get an original rom, flash back, then try anything.

But i still have the problem with the strange behaviour of the dialler, When i press the phone button or try to dial a number i get a crash screen?
A blur image - and nothing is working in the dialler screen.
I did all what could help, reinstall the original rom, flash SPLL / Hard / radio etc.. but without suc6..
I have installed this one: cleanblack 6.5.2 - animelover and this is working fine, no dialer problems at all.....
Maybe the video dialler in the 3G is the problem for me, i will try this weekend the 2G - 230XXX version..
The 2G versions are working... and i try a few others also no problem, but i didn't like them....
My current is the best for me right now, clean and quick, i love the Clean Black rom 6.5.2 and animelover is building a new version...

Ok I'm trying to help you, because I had the same issue, I read something in the thread but I need to know if your problem only excist with the Insomnia-rom because I don't think it is a problem whith the Insomnia-rom.
My phone had the same issue with almost all the 3g rom except the original, that's the reason I couldn't bring the phone back for repair.
I tried several rom's wm6.1 and wm6.5 from randomelements, salvyC, Insomnia, Davideuck etc etc and all the 3g roms gave me a scrambled screen on the dialer, the solution I offered you to add a 3g dialer after flashing was working for me, I found the 3g dialer in the 4shared folder from NemanjaLo.
As I told you before, that is not a real solution, I thought the 3g version from Gullum didn't gave me a scrambled screen, but I'm not sure about that.
If you do have the same problems as I wrote above, I think you have to try the mtty procedure as randomelements suggested me.
You can find that here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=390606 but plse be carefull otherwise your phone ends as a doorstop and I don't think it is worth it.

You're right it is to tricky to use mtty that is the reason I didn't go for it to.
About flashing I don't think it make any sense because I start with hardspl-1.15mfg-nike.nbh and I had the same problem.
The only thing I know is that my Nike came from KPN but I don't know that is the problem.
I'm glad you found a rom that don't give you the problem.

That is funny, mine came from HI / KPN that could be the similarity, so we have a point, that might be all KPN / HI phones are fixed some how?

I have a sprint touch pro (raphael) and so far its was working perfectly but all of a sudden the phone resets itself after 10-20sec. after getting a GPS lock in google maps and Tomtom 7. recently Tomtom says no GPS device...
Well I backup the registry every couple of apps/tweaks i install... but even when i restored the registry from when it was working fine... still the self reset issue occurs.
any idea as to what gives???
I did recently install bike dashboard and i think that was the culprit... even after uninstalling it, and restoring previous registry, the phone still is experiencing the same issue.
Keep in mind that if I dont use any software using GPS... the phone works fine!
I want to see If i can troubleshoot the issue before I hard reset it (then I'll have to waste a whole day just resetting it and installing all the apps/tweaks to get it back to what it was before)

its happened to me, & others i know. flash a new updated radio & it should fix your problems.
I had the same issue... I just updated the ROM to the latest official Sprint Rom from their website & all is well. Your mileage may vary.
yea updating the stock rom will include the radio they included in the rom package. any custom roms dont flash a new radio. so flash a new radio & you'll be good =]
Bought a T mobile HD2 (unlocked) second hand with energy rom installed.
Got it home & I find that the wifi & bluetooth are not working.
It picks up the network signal fine & the data connection is working fine.
But the wifi turns on & will not pick up anything.
The bluetooth it seems does not discover & is not discoverable.
I suspected it may be somthing to do with the rom so I loaded up a stock T mobile rom with the same results.
I have updated the radio with the same results.
The phone has Hspl loaded & I am wondering if I could do a complete cleanout of everything including Hspl & reload a completly vanilla stock Rom would that help.
I have fiddled with all the settings for both wifi & bluetooth & still no results.
At this point I need help!!!!
Run a task 29 then the stock rom of your choice, check the radio installed is compatable with the rom, hard reboot after completing the rom flash (its a good idea to do that first as well in case you don't need to run a 29 or flash)

I've the same problem ...I suppose.
I used a Touch Pro in the last two years and Energy ROMs since September 2009. I never had problems with Wi-Fi an Bluetooth.
Recently I bought a HD2 and tried Bloutooth and Wi-Fi only after 1 week.
So, both the Touch Pro and the HD2 got the same ROM (Energy ROM) flashed , each by its own version, but two days ago I discovered WiFi not working (DISCOVERED, because I never tried it before)
The problem seems an extremely poor signal seen on the on screen meter, only if I'm close to the router (1-2 meters!) I couldn't establish a real connection, because the HD2 loss the signal every 30-40 seconds.
Bothered about this I tried with Touch Pro: the result is the same!
So I concluded: "It's the ROM!". Strange (never had problems with Energy ROMs) but possible. I flashed the stock ROM on the HD2: the issue remains. So I thought about the RADIO, and I flashed the RADIO 2.12.50.02 (compatible with ROM). The issue is still here.
I used Task 29 before another flash, then I tried an Artemis ROM with RADIO 2.12.50.02... nothing changed. (note that I tried almost every different settings about Wi-Fi,from BsB tostandard enhance settings)
Last (related?) issue: when I try a hard reset, the progress bar starts to "move" but after 3-4 seconds (about a third of the bar) the bar disappears and I got the "Press VolUp button" message. Then the phone has the first boot... but I wonder if the HR is complete, because it seems yes.
Finally I came to this thread and... another doubt: what about BT?
I tried both the Touch Pro and the HD2 Bluetooths but they can't connect or recognize each other (every "Find" and "Visible" options activated)
I didn't try yet with Touch Pro (flash etc.) but I am very bothered and dubious about it.

Decided to go right back to the very beginning & uninstalled HSPL by loading the stock Rom from the SD card
Stock rom would not upload & i am getting the SPL 1.42.0000 Screen plus "Upgrade Rom code error please try again"
The question I have now is which is the proper stock Rom for this T mobile HD2 & how do I find that out?

You are not alone. I am experiencing the exact same problem and have yet to find an answer.
Task 29 didn't help and reflashing the radio the traditional way (even with the stock rom) doesn't seem to overwrite whatever is causing this problem.
Would uninstalling the hspl do anything? I am running out of ideas.
Recently i unlocked HD2, and since then, gps does not detecting any satellites.
I use 2 navigation programs, Igo8 and Destinator 8 and 9, and all of them displays connection with gps, but i waited more than 2 hours to find satellites...both of them found nothing.
I'm running stock rom 3.14.482.2 and flashed the 2.15.50.14 radio but still nothing.
Any ideas?

Do you have a clear view of the sky? And you could also try more gps applications but try to do it with a clear view of the sky if you haven't.Hope this helps.
I tried more than once. Also downgrade radio to 2.14 version but still no progress.

O.K. This should solve your problem. Upgrade your radio back to 2.15.50.14. After that, download and install the attached file on your phone. Make sure you install it TO YOUR PHONE and NOT SD CARD. Then run the app, download data, then run your gps app. You should be good to go. Hope this helps.

Go to GPS settings and mark "managed by windows" or something my rom is in spanish, then run quick GPS, and try first whit Google Maps if u have 8 Sat´s+ the GPS work Fine, if u dont want to configure GPS flash AKIRA ROM WWE is ready for use iGo 8 (That i have) ;D

Hello, had the same problem with my HD2. My phone was having an Eastern Europe type of ROM (Poland 1.48.479.1). After I've put the HSPL, I updated the phone to the latest Radio (2.15.50.14) and a custom ROM, i did see that GPS didn't work. In trying to resolve the problem, I installed a lot radios and OS's (custom Windows, SD Androids, NAND Androids, etc), but GPS didn't seem to work in the right parameters (there were sometimes when it worked for few seconds after waiting about 5 minutes). Then i decided to turn back cu SPL, and install the original stock Windows from the HTC site. Now the GPS seem to work fine. The Radio version is 2.05.51.05_2. Hope it works for your phone too.
Another problem that i noticed, is that when i'm starting Destinaror, appears a message that says
"Bluetooth connection is not possible. Please check that bluetooth connections are active and then try again"
What is this? Is this the problem generator?

Now back to topic, I have a serious problem with my leo (T8585). It was started to freeze from a few weeks, after I changed ROM, but allways i was able to restet it. And now it froze for good. The screen is black and any buttons are not lighting. At the begining when i have removed battery and put it back, i could feel vibration at start but the screen didn't turn on. After several attemps I was able to run the device. And then, when i have tried downgrade radio from 2.15.50.14 to 2.14.50.04, it has showed me a error at the begin of process (0% of progress). I restarted device, but now I don't feel even vibration at start.
What can I do with this? Any ideas? Please, help me

What ROM did you flash? Maybe it is caused by a bug in the ROM..
Try another different ROM.
I test almost all ROM here, and Radio 2.15 is the best radio so far.
BTW, you need HSPL to flash a Radio or if you dont have HSPL installed, you have to flash the full stock rom.
