first from all, take my apologies for my english.
Now back to topic, I have a serious problem with my leo (T8585). It was started to freeze from a few weeks, after I changed ROM, but allways i was able to restet it. And now it froze for good. The screen is black and any buttons are not lighting. At the begining when i have removed battery and put it back, i could feel vibration at start but the screen didn't turn on. After several attemps I was able to run the device. And then, when i have tried downgrade radio from 2.15.50.14 to 2.14.50.04, it has showed me a error at the begin of process (0% of progress). I restarted device, but now I don't feel even vibration at start.
What can I do with this? Any ideas? Please, help me

What ROM did you flash? Maybe it is caused by a bug in the ROM..
Try another different ROM.
I test almost all ROM here, and Radio 2.15 is the best radio so far.
BTW, you need HSPL to flash a Radio or if you dont have HSPL installed, you have to flash the full stock rom.

I have flashed a lot of roms lately, ROMeOS - all flavours DSC, SWTOS, and serveral reconstructed roms for testing. But today my phone started to behave very strange - strange crashes. Could flash a rom and it wouldn´t boot while it the same rom worked before. And with just the rom and no 3rd part application suddenly I can´t press the Programs or setting - nothing happens. And then the phone reboots and make an hard reset. I feels like the flash memory in the phone is defect. Could I verify that in someway ? I have reflashed Hard SPL and restored SPL to the default and reflashed stock rom but nothing seems to help - it crashed randomly with nothing installed
Yes, my TP died and has gone to HTC heaven Three weeks old and now I have to wait two weeks to get it fixed. So I have to use my Diamond, damn - I really like the TP much more

1st i tought that was a 6.5 rom problem or a radio version problem, but no.
Right now i have a 6.1 rom and the problem is back
I Don't know why but my phone some times freezes and when i remove the batery and connect it again i get the calibration screen. And i lost every data i had. the only thing that remains is the date and hour.

Sounds like it is doing a hard reset, which it should not. Type of ROM? Dropped it? etc. More infor needed.

So i already tryed all 6.5 in this forum and all have the same behaviour. I think i narroewd the problem. It happen when i read my replicated gmail account.
The same thing happend when i used the insomnia rom with windows 6.1.
Right now i'm using the official rom from HTC and i don't have freezes but i get a error message saying that the tmail.exe process has failed, or something like that.
But the hardresets have stopped.
Hi guys... try to search and google for an answer to my problems but cant find the solutions..
problems : let say i turn on my hd2 at 1.00 pm on12/08/10....
and at 1.30 pm on 13/08/10 i turn off the phone and replace the battery with fresh one .. turn it on... the clock will show the time and date as 1.00pm 12/08/10...
time will be reset back to time i on the phone on the first time and it will continue the cycle...
try hard reset but the bugs still there... clear all my apps.. clean phone... bugs still there....
my phone using stock ROM 1.48,702... everything is stock...
itsx all start after i do some tweaking & installing apps which i hv uninstall now.. but the problemis still there,,..
Anybody have this problems before.. ? any idea / tips for the problems.. thks guys and sorry if this repeating Q ...

HTC service Center advised the following :
1. Take out sim card and storage card to eliminate the error tht maybe caused by this 2 items... i've done it... and restart... walaaa... like a charm it works...
But on fine fine day i install cab file... then the old problem again haunted my hd2...
tried the above methods.. this its no longer worked..
Fed-up, i just let it be like that... then on one fine day.. I install another cab file... CHT and CHT Editor to be exact... walaaa... the old problem eliminated.. hv install/uninstall few cab file after tht (analog clock cab file).. so far everything still ok..

It started to happen to me like month ago from no special reason. I use SD Android build, so with every restart to go back to WM, time/date changes from couple minutes to couple weeks to both directions.
Hard reset did not help. Another ROM flashed did not help.
It seems to occur only when rebooting Android -> WM. WM -> WM reset direction mostly OK. Battery-out almost always changes time/date.
Just a thought: Is there any kind of "CMOS battery" like in PC motherboards, that can be weak/broken in the HD2?
Any advice appreciated

I've got the same problem using Omega rom v30. It's solved easily enough by using sptimesync to get the exact time. What's your rom? I'm gonna flash and see if anything changes

Android - MccM HD V6
This is also happening to me. It's happened before and it somehow corrected itself, but it's really annoying me at the moment. Any ideas as to the cause? Running WM6.5 ROM, stock 3.14. Not running android at all.
Hi all, i have a tricky one for you. MUCH respect to the one that can help me out with this one.
I belived my HD2 to be faulty and was to return it in for repairs. Having HSPL on the phone presented a problem so i tryed installing from SD card to remove it and restore the phone back to original ..... exept that didnt happen.
See, i didnt save my original rom back in the days when hspl showed up and apperently, you need to extract your original rom if you ever inteend to restore it to full original. So after some tries, with stock 1.48 and stock 1,66 i gave up and did a task 29, installed NRG rom and was back to normal ... OR so i thought.
The problem that started showing was a strange connection error.
"Dialer
cannot connect for an unknown reason. To check your connection settings and change them if needed, tap Settings " some more text of non importense is displayed on there.
Thing is i lose the connection for like 1 second, it then shows this message and the connection is back again ... so i just press "Dismiss" untill it randomly will occure again now and then.
Now i tryed radio 2.10.50.19, 2.10.50.28, 2.12.50.28_2 with no luck.
I tryed to start with 1.48 stock installed from computer, then Task 29 with radio, then the latest NRG rom ... and some older. Nothing changes this thing, and the problem never occured before. I tryed just Task 29 and straight to NRG rom, nothing.
Plz plz if you have an idee, or think you can help, plz do, this is getting on my nerves, what if i never can save it!!!! ... oh my oh my

The phone is stuck on the screen lock, it's happened for the first time a week ago,
without a reason - my friend doesn't install any application or change something on the phone.
I did soft and hard rest and i change the rom to Energy.Leo.21916.Sense2.5 and it's the same annoying issue,
I have to mention that the Touchscreen respond without a problem - in SMS, menu and etc...
hope u could help me as fast as you can -

Hello!
I had the same issue with Stock ROMs. Since I am using cooked ROM all my annoying not reasonable problems disappeared. Do not hesitate to flash more than one ROM to test them, also new RADIO is recommended.
Do not forget to use task29 before you flash a new ROM, and after flashing to make a hard reset. They can make miracles
also try the Energy 23699 or 29017 ROMs after task 29 & hard reset straight after new ROM has booted. Flash a recommended radio as suggested in first Energy post & see if it cures the problem.
I assume once unlock your screen functions normally ? if not & a full reflash with task29 & HardReset doesn't fix it you probably got touch screen hardware issue.
