Hello guys, i own a stock vodafone TP. I've tried several rom updates however all of them stuck at the beginning where it shows the % bar, it starts and stuck at 0 %.
the latest rom i've tried was "EnergyROM 2.0 40509" i did it through the "EnergyROM Upgrade.exe".
is there anything i'm missing here??
help me please..
if u can extract the *.nbh file (assuming it is inside the EnergyROM Upgrade.exe), then u can try flash using microSD. And u should post in EnergyROM thread.

if i am reading your post correctly, you've never been able to flash a custom rom. If this is the case, have you "hard spl" your phone as yet?
Yes you're right. maybe i mixed up with the whole process of the hard spl even though i had read the guide several times .
First HSPL your phone...
Then Flash the ROM of your choice...
And READ, READ, READ, READ a lot, before...
thanks man!!! i'll try

So i have tried to Hspl my phone using http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=448008 guide, but no luck.
first i tried to run the RaphaelHardSPL-Unsigned_190_1_3.exe but it said that there was an error, then i used the SSPLManual.exe the phone turned black and an icon appeared on my pc's task bar saying there's a new "something" - (can't remember the actual name) found. And that was it.
what should i do next because i saw at the bootloader that the spl remained the same..

leave the phone plugged in when it says installing "something." even if it takes 5 minutes...let it sit until the computer installs the driver.
then run the spl again. this happens to me every now and then. just give it time to install the driver.
you ment to run the RaphaelHardSPL-Unsigned_190_1_3.exe from my computer ??
yes...
it needs to install the driver for flashing the device.. on the pc.. when it done the hardwarewizard tell you that it works.. after that start the hardspl prog
thanks, i'll give it a try later on this day 'cause i'm at work now
that would be the best option
i doubt ur systemcommander let you install anything like drivers and tools to withstand his authority lol
LOL i don't think anybody minds what i do on my computer here at work..
then whats the wait ? hehe
mmm the data cable i guess... don't have it here
lmao
oke oke u got me there
(they're like 3 bucks in most local stores (not that im an addict or anything (a)))
not at all )
by the way, i've tried yesterday to do exactly as you told but no luck.
after i used the SSPLManual and pressed the RaphaelHardSPL-Unsigned_190_1_3.exe it said " error - there's a problem operating or something like that"

Hell bro it's cool. I am still a n00b myself.
But you really needed to install HardSPL before trying to flash any ROM.
I dunno what to do for you bro.
Nevermind I see you have already asked in this threadhttp://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=323253&page=2
and it seems that ultramag69 has already answered the question.
Sorry bro this is why you should ALWAYS have HardSPL installed before even attempting to flash a ROM.

Lol do you believe that i had 6 PPC and all of them was flashed with new roms, and i NEVER changed the HardSPL with no consequences? I sent the Hermes to a friend. He says that he needs the electronic scheme to do the electronic correction... Do you know where the hell i can find that?
Try searching for JTAG... You might get the info you require...
hello together,
i have been reading a lot in this forum but i did not find a solution. This is my problem:
My HTC TD2 shows a pixel error, therefor i should sent it back to the provider. Because i have had ERG-ROM with hard-spl on the phone i have tried flashing first sspl. After that i have tried to flash the original HTC-ROM, but at 9% it fails.
After the recovery the device boots to this 9%-Screen and that´s all. If i am booting to the bootloader, the Bootloader-Modus (Tricolour-Screen) appears, but in the upper right corner stands:"ruunbh"
What can i do next?

well, it has stock SPL now, yes? the custom OS is also erased by now... if not, then do a task 29 to make sure it is erased.
and then you can send the phone back no problem.
PS: I pressed thanks accidentally heh.
actually you should first flash the stock rom and then flash back the stock SPL (that's what i did, at least).
so, my advise would be to install the HARDSPL, then flash the stock rom and finally flash the stock SPL. this worked for me
good luck

afaik, as long as SPL is stock it should be okay... better than if it was booting to a cooked rom.
OP did have the original shipped ROM for the device, it seems. so he can say it got stuck when flashing, which is true.

Yes Flash through SD and the problem will be gone , keep that in mind that flashing through SD will DELETE HSPL and be carefull what you flash , Flash stock rom that you have downloaded from HTC for flashing through SD and before flashing any custom rom besure to have HSPL installed if requiered

Hello,
I dont know IF posting in the right place, but I searched the whole forum for a proper answer how to "unbrick" my boot loop-ed Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830..
Now I've tried installing several firmwares using Odin multi downloader v4.83 but none of them helped me, after all I cant access Recovery Mode!
I can acess Download mode, Emergency Dmod (arm9) and RAMDUMP (arm9)
I have: Android 2.3.3 GingerBread on T-Mobile Carrier (Hungary)!
How did I get here: rooted with SuperOneClick 2.3.2 and used an app for unlock (Galaxy Ace Unlock.apk) witch was probably the main source of the problem... Had no problems until I decided to reboot, rebooted successfully, the problem I had then was No carrier, then tried a second reboot and ever since then I'm stuck into a boot loop with no access whatsoever to RECOVERY MODE.
After installing firmware and waiting the 5 minutes in Odin, my device reboots intro a boot loop after about 2:32 min and nothing can be done furthermore...
I've serched the forum and found that data.rfs is missing in the firmwares... maybe that the source of the problem to... I dont know...
Please help me fix this problem!! Thank you!
p.s: noob alert

You'll just have to keep flashing roms via Download Mode until one works (try flashing the stock rom).
P.S.: Your device has it's own forum: http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1164.

You have done everything you could and it's still not fixed (even the things other people did when they had the same problem - it worked for them, but not for you), so warranty is the only other way to get it fixed (or at least replaced).

Thank you for the help Theonew! Appreciate! I've taken it into warranty service, hopefully they wont find my device inappropriate for free service, and so I dont have to pay for it...
The only problem is that I have to wait at least 8 days untill I get it back..
Anyway, I've researched this Galaxy Unlock apk. and it seems thats the main source of the problem.
Thanks again!
