I 've been seaching for a way to use my PC's shared drives/Internet via bluetooth without ActiveSync for hours and cannot find a solution.
I'm on WM6.1 and there is no PAN shotcut on the ROM.
What do I need to use a PAN, please?

I am looking for a driver that runs on my phone which gives access via usb to the wifi device. this would be similar to wm5storage in function (exposes phone filesystem as a usb disk).
in theory this is completely possible, and not limited to wifi, but that is all I need right now.
alternatively does anyone know of a good proxy server that can run on the phone?

could you tell us exactly what you are trying to achieve? Use your wizard as some kind of wifi modem?

AKU 3.x Roms have ICS (Internet Connection Sharing) which I know works with the GPRS but may also work with WiFi.

I don't think ICS in AKU 3.X ROMs work with WiFi. In my device after I choose Internet Sharing, there ain't any WiFi connections to choose from. There are only BT or GPRS connections.

does any of you know the way, how to control PC via bluetooth with my Qtek 8500, WITHOUT installing any extra app? Currently I'm running Bluetooth Remote Control Server ( http://www.jaylee.org/RemoteControl/ ) but that needs me to install the extra app.
Sony Ericsson cellphones can control PC via Widcomm software on your PC, thanks to the HID files.
Is there similar way how to do it on WM smartphones? Thanks a bunch

I just upgraded my MDA Vario 2 with the latest T-Mobile WM6 ROM. Since then I can no longer access the internet via USB when my MDA is connected to my PC. Hope this makes sense - on WM5 I could access the internet via the PC when the phone was connected by USB. I have tried searching the forum but could not find any answers. Any suggestions?

On WM6, they have an Internet Sharing application that you have to connect/enable before you can utilize the phone's Internet connection to your PC. This is located in Start > Programs > Internet Sharing (at least on mine it's located there).

could you describe the "use" a little bit?
You can connect to the PC via USB and connect with BT, but what are you trying to do?
PC settings
I presume you are trying to be connected to your PC by USB while you are using bluetooth for something else.
On the PC, in Activesync, you need to choose the connectio n settings for the connection and activate the option:
Allow wireless connections on device while connected ...

my use meant connecting Prophet initially with one PC than another, and both can access the Prophet.

I don't think that would work well as I think active sync can only use one connection.
You may be able to use WM5Torage to access the memory card, whilst the device is connected to AS via bluetooth, but I've never tried that!
Hello!
I want to connect my hd2 via wifi with an cisco vpn network! So i have tried the following programs:
- anthavpn
- bluefire
- ncp client
but if i install these programs i can't find a wifi network! If i delete the programs there is no problem to find wifi network!
I think the problem is that the network adapter which is installed whith the program is wrong because without programs there is the network adapter "L2TP NDISWAN Miniport" used and with programs there is a own adapter!
Can anyone help me??
