dropped my touchdual and the battery popped out. when i went to start it back up it went to the tri color screen and says "serial"
i tried a hard reset but the it does nothing past the this will erase your data screen.
help.
please.

When I try and reflash the ROM it gets to 1% and says Vendor ID error
spl 1.11 only boot in tricolor screen
My laptop went into hibernate (hard button pressed accidently) 33% of the way through the standard ROM upgrade of the latest 3.3.1 (SPL.1.11).
Now it will only boot into tricolour screen with SPL-1.11 and IPL-1.00
When I try and reflash the ROM it gets to 1% and says Vendor ID error
Everything else just wont conect.
From the forums this seems to be a true brick!! Am I right or is there another way (I dont have KITPL enabled on the ROM).

Hi there
I have a big problem with a black X01HT
This is sim unlocked and SuperCID. I flashed it with latest TyTN original Ship Rom and phone works fine for 3 hours with phone calls and software instalation included.
However, the phone shut down without reason and now only a white screen appear. Phone power on but No splash screen appear, ex. no HTC logo, not radio or any numbers at boot screen, no windows screeen. Also I can´t enter to bootloader mode.
Any idea for fix it?
hi all, I have the zte Carl. I can't do a factory reset .every time I try, the result is a white screen on reboot and stuck there. I tried to do hard reset but still got white screen. the basic problem is that both home and dial button not working so I want to do a reset. I cannot even get my phone into recovery mode. white screen again. if. anyone can help?
With what key combination do you enter in recovery?
For some reason the phone got unresponsive and upon power on it get's stuck on the HTC screen. I tried the reset via volume -/+ and power button, it says reset complete and when I reboot the device it get's stuck again at the boot screen on HTC.
I am not sure if I picked up the right ROM (RUU_Schubert_TMOUS_3.01.531.02_Radio_5.65.09.25a_22.45.50.21_Signed_SCHUBERT_RELEASE) but when I try to flash it I get error 262.
I see SPL 5.12.2250

A friend of mine is having an issue with his phone so he asked me for help, and now i'm asking you lol
well the problem is that :
1- having a weird colored screen on startup (1st attached image)
2- after few second the phone just get stuck on boot animation (2nd attached image)
3- sometimes the phone goes into and update screen and then get stuck on 5% and after a while reboots (3rd attached image)
4- the phone just wont shut down it when i hold the power button the screen goes black, then instantly i feel a vibration and the multicolored screen comes back, then the same story "boot loop"
Well now let me tell you how this problem occurred, well my friend bought this phone from someone, so he doesn't know if there was custom recovery ever installed on this phone or if it's on stuck recovery
the phone was working fine, then one day an update notification pops up, he does the update, the first time it showed him an error message, but he tried one more time and it got throw the update process, unfortunately the phone got rebooted but never made it past the boot screen
now because the phone won't shut down, i can't get into fast boot or recovery mode (i don't know how to do that unless the phone is shut down, and doing the volume/power button combination)
i'm really stuck here and don't know what to do, i'd really appreciate your help guy
