This is just like al other devices, Raphael is a new device compared to Diamond and less users with this devices do less ROMs. When Kaiser arrives one year ago, was the same process, in the begining there was a little amount of ROMs, but now the development forum is full of. If you wait 6-12 months, this forum will be full of ROMs, sure It's a question of time...
Cheers

I think it also because of some developers and users already bought Diamond just before HTC Touch Pro came out.
Also keep in mind, the Raphael hasn't even released in the US yet. I think once the Fuze releases here we'll see many more people interested in modifying it, look at how many people in the Kaiser section have an AT&T Tilt in the US!
(Sprint Touch Pro doesn't apply to this, the GSM ROM is completely different I believe)

Just not seeing the rest....go over to PPCGeeks there are a lot of ROMs and the PPC kitchen
everything that you will ever want/need is in the extremely stable DCD roms.
i would recommend 325 or 326, flash it using a micro SD card you will have zero issues. and a phone you never knew you had.
FYI ROM and Radio are on 2 different chips to you will need to flash 2 diffrent software Radio software and OS software. follow his wiki you will be fine. or ask and we will guide you.

Although DCD's roms are great there are plenty of other stable roms out there....this is no disrespect to DCD....all I am saying is that there are plenty more out there which is what the OP asked for....go explore there are many great roms and not so great....it is all personal preference....
ok well i have the latest dcd and .40 rom and it's great just very light and lacking alot of charechter. Seems like the tilt roms have a little more "pizzaz" to them. I went to ppcgeeks and I assume the forum is where the rom's are posted. I still could only find 2-3 in the 4 pages of forum I found. And the latter of the two was very outdated.

128 MB of RAM on such models decreases the desire and goal to go GUI light.
For myself, I've gone back to one of the final WM 6 OS builds for my Titan simply because it just works. Sometime soon I may again present to the forum that kitchen with the current app/utility/dialer/carrier updates. With WM 6.1 builds I've often come across odd software incompatibilities (I do like SPB Plus), sporadic pauses upon bringing up the dialer in time to receive a call, odd hard keyboard bugs, etc. I've just decided that I must rely on my phone and am lacking the time and interest to keep flashing to new ROMs when I'm already satisfied with what is. I'll keep that on to retain GPS, and wait until I upgrade to a CDMA Diamond Pro (looking like October for Telus with the CDMA Diamond 'Victor' already over a week old) to again get the new item urge for more experimentation.
As others have said, choose what's best for you.
I have searched the forum, but I found some people saying I can do that. Some said the FUZE has different hardware and cannot be flashed into HTC official firmware. Which is the correct answer?
If I really can, what else should I beware of? Any thing will not work after the flash?
Thanks.
Yes you can...
For starters your keyboard mapping will be wrong, but that is easily fixed by any number of CABs you can find in the forum. You also won't have any of the AT&T special apps.
I guess the real question is "why"?
If you're going to go through the effort of flashing, it makes much more sense to flash in one of the cooked ROMs that offer more features.

I agree with Rob - Why would you want to? Unless say you are modding it to include the front facing camera and want the rom to be able to take advantage of that. Other wise you will have to jump through hoops just to get it to work.

Because the original HTC rom is thoroughly tested and, HTC did make it since they made the hardware i believe they know the best software for it as well.
No offense to the cooks and all but I have not come across a faster, smoother, bug-free rom than the "Asia Build 20764" released on march 16th.
Even though I like the cool look aof the custom roms thereis no competing with the performance of the original HTC roms.
I agree with Stalix. I personally just prefer the official HTC firmware. Apparently, HTC know their hardware and have working with their software in this field for long, they should have a more stable firmware. And I personally hate to see at&t logos in my phone.(does FUZE have those logos?)
Same idea when I install my PC, I would install Microsoft official version not those modded version. They may have bug or viruses due to their experience of modding.
So on the forum what kid of key word means it's official HTC firmware? I have seen hundreds of firmware here.

They also do not turn on certain features. Take a look at all the power management features you can turn on with Advance Config. They skip out on a lot stuff so then they do not have to support it. If you have more things to support then you need a bigger support staff which is more money out the door for them...A ROM (like mine) based on an official release can be much more faster, stable and more enjoyable than a OEM ROM. Look at the TytN II...it can use the YouTube app fine but why do they not include it...

Let's recall that approx 10 months ago, the big breakthrough in this community for stable reliable 6.1 TytN II ROMs, was the release in May of 6.1 WWE by HTC. Don't let anyone convince you otherwise.
Nothing wrong with checking out (or using) the stock releases...
How can I revert cooked ROMs back to OEM HTC ROM?
thanks
I have done the flash!
Yeah I have done the flash to my fuze and the UK rom is the best way to go. I love the boot screen saying Touch Pro! You will definitely need the keyboard fix as stated earlier. You will need to find a UK serial so you can grab the rom. There is one in the xda archive. Also, get a calculator cab because the stock one is not always the best. They are also on here. When flashing the HTC rom it will take a couple of more minutes than the others. Mine was stuck on 11% for a 2 minutes. But it will complete beautifully. So also It is very stable. Let me know how you like it.

Yea but you have to also realize that all "cooked ROMs" are based off an official build in the first place.
Take a look at the ROMs available now for the KAISER; they are much better and much improved as developers are able to port updated applications to older devices, improving their performance, and functionality.
If HTC Software was so great, developers wouldnt be looking at other 3D drivers from devices such as the Omnia or the ATI 3D drivers, to improve their devices.
EDIT: To answer the original thread makers question, yes you can flash an HTC ROM to your Fuze provided you have HARDSPL'd your device first. The only thing you would need to change is the keyboard mapping which can be done by a .CAB

This. HTC might "know thier hardware" but that's exactly why you take their official ROM and modify it. Then I have my Fuze settings without running keyboard customization, better apps and tools that aren't in the official ROM, and tweaks to make it even faster. Best of both worlds.
i dont deal with cook Roms anymore, I got out of that business since the MDA Wizard.
Since then I have owned the Treo 750, ATT 8525, HTC TYNT II, and now the FUZE (touch Pro) and I have sticked to official release ROMS.
Its a personal choice really. I have had great experiences with Official Roms and I can do all the tweaks and add all the cabs my self.
So sad to see this Fuze forum flooded with so many cook ROMS. Everybody wants to be a Chef these days. I just feel bad for all the new bees coming in here and can't even decide which ROM to use

so where would a 'newb' go to find a nice stock rom that isnt cooked? seems like all the roms here are cooked to some extent or another.
No worries with flashing Touch PRO HTC roms or cooked roms on the ATT Fuze
I am currently using WM6.5 for the Touch PRO on an unlocked Fuze with a Canadian 3G provider with ZERO problems !

go to the Raphael Wiki page and will link you to the proper page for download
3g settings and link!
First off the rom for official download will be found at the following:
www.htc.com/europe
Then you will need the UK S/N code which is as follows:
HT833K018918
This was in the archive much props to who uploaded it however I will repost it as to the fact it was not easy to find. This will give you the UK rom! I love the video that plays at the beginning! It is great with battery life as well! So then grab your fuze keyboard fix and it is as if it were always a touch pro!!
Cheers and enjoy!

Well it is a ROM DEVELOPMENT forum. Having choices is kinda the point since which ROM to use is personal preference. Personally, since UC works well, I change between them quite a bit.
Hello all,
Maybe not the right place (or the right time) but im thinking bout buying a rhodium, but want to see and expercience the rom rhodium first. I cant see why a rhodium rom wouldnt work on a raphael (same hardware and all) but maybe im wrong. Being a newb as i am, can any1 tell me if its possible and what stock rom to take ?
Thank u very much !
Gijsja
ABSOLUTELY!!! Try the make_my_device_into_something_else_magic_rom_1.01.05_shipped.nbh
Wow, if you can't see why, well then maybe you should've hung on to your Motorola Razr.
Seriously though, just for starters, try resolution. There are a dozen more, at least, but that one right there is pretty big.
How about radios? The radio the Rhodium uses is garanteed to brick your device.
SPL is a bit different too!
All in all, great if you want a new paperweight.

A better way to go would be to look through the Raphael ROM forum and find one of the many threads where chefs have taken the entire Rhodium interface and ported over to the Raphael hardware. e.g. NRG Phoenix is one, and it's WinMo6.5 as well!

Hmm...Actually, there is NO Raphael rom that is "Totally" ported from the Rhodium. You can't do it yet. The full manila requires the new Phone pad, so there are at least two things that are different.

Hi all.
Is there something new for our beloved Hermes? New ROM perhaps? Are there still great cooks for the Hermes? What have I missed in the last 6 months? I have read somewhere that WM is now on 6.5.... is it applicable to our Hermes?
Been soo busy at work! Its been a long time since I found time to visit this site..I think the last time was November/December last year and Im not sure if there are still a lot of Hermes users and a lot of Hermes cooked Roms as it was that time, considering that there are now many new HTC phones coming it. But as for me, I still love my Hermes (or maybe I just dont have the money yet to get a new HTC phone lols).
The current rom Im using I think is version 3.62 with Radio version 1.47.30.10, on WM6.1 with M2D, TouchFlo...I even forgot whose ROM it is...either PDAViet, PhamQuang, abusalza's PDACorner, Starbase64, JoshKoss, CRCinAU or Schaps, I really forgot now, so many Roms to play around that time. I have yet to check first my files in my PC as what were the last things I opened and used with regards to Hermes. Still, my Hermes is still doing great, alive and kicking!
I miss xda-dev. Thanks to all those excellent cooks I mentioned (and forgot to mention) .... I hope these days there is still something new to play around for the Hermes
Thanks..
Well just mossy on down to the Mobile 6 and you will find a few 6.5 ROMS, thankfully so far when one ROM cookers falls in battle then there is another to take up his sword, or should that be wooden spoon.
Well my cooking days for HTC Prophet have finally come to an end as I finally upgraded to a newer device HTC Touch Diamond and I have had to sell my Prophet so I won't be cooking as i have no way of testing the finished ROM.
But i will stick around and still pop in from time to time see how you guy's are doing and offer help to any one i can as usual and support to my ROM users

Well the thing is with cooking for Diamond is there are so many Cooks and as the old saying goes to many cooks spoil the broth
I would recommend Gen.Y R5.3 MultiLANG Kitchen[WM6.1+6.5][TF3D2.1+2.5][P3700|T7272] I have built several custom ROMs for my diamond using this Kitchen it's so easy to use and works fine on windows 7 i am currently running sense 2.5 with around 50mb free RAM ( just a few tweaks I pick-up from building for prophet) But i can't be bothered to release them as they don't stand out enough
