Does any one know if any one in the Titan threads (xda or ppcgeeks) will be creating a New Rom based on the leaked Diamond ROM
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=394985
The Kaiser community has managed to create one already.
dcd has been talking in the Diamond ROM threads so I would imagine that he will be doing one.
Has any one extracted the components from the ROM?
I was thinking of doing a Diamond Theme, but I would rather save some time if some one already extracted the components.

VetVito over at PPCGeeks has ported over a Diamond ROM and is testing some OEMs now according to his latest post.
would the titan be able to run that well though? I doubt it would be worth it.
Its not the the actuall full rom...just the updated build and such...not the 3d interface...we have no drivers
there are some cool OEM apps in the diamond
it also has aku 1.1 SYS
its very buggy. my standard ROM will not be getting this OS.
I will be updating parts of OEM from it.
since its a test build and clearly buggy, i am not going to mess with bringing over any drivers.

yes, but i wanted to ask, since i checked out the OEM ROM Pack from the diamond i was able to find out it did contain alot of updated drivers for some of the same hardware the titan had, specifically the WIFI module, i was going to update it myself, but didn't think it would be worth it if ur going to do it on a later build of your own rom MR. DCD. And hey there were even tons of hardware accelerator drivers that may actually work for the titan. wonder if you were able to port em over? probably not since a lot of these drivers are also created for what they were intended for, and that clearly isent the titan.
Regardless i cant wait to see what you have in stock for us with a Diamond based ROM for our titans, for the time being befor i get myself the HTC Raphael.
Its to bad the xperia is only GSM and not CDMA, That really looks like a nice phone, but the Raphael well be nicer maybe...
i already tried making my own cabs for alot of what the diamond offers to put on my titan, but alot of them require massive changes because of QVGA... so nothing really kicked off. and im not talking just picture re-sizing, there was alot of XML changing and .dll modifying (which im not capable of) so i don't even think well be seeing a fully fledged diamond clone rom for our titans any time soon, ESPECIALLY SINCE WERE STILL WAITING FOR THOES DAMN HARDWARE ACCELERATION DRIVERS... UGH... Did they think since its QVGA, that its just not even worth it? well they better be coming with em soon, cause I'm getting ridiculously impatient.

i didnt look at the wifi driver really..
i played a little bit with drivers last night (i have the cdma diamond rom, not sure if its leaked anywhere yet?) but it seemed that anything of interest has a dependency down the chain that is incompatible. i may give it another try but when i found that, i scrapped that project for other things.
right now i am trying to package/play with the OEM stuff. some of it will make it over.
Cool, but I don't mean to crush hopes, just thought you should know:
The Diamond has 192MB or RAM or 3 times what the titan has and 1.5x what were begging for (128...) we're going to run into big problems. Though the idea of OEM would be cool.
Also on the subject of ROMs the P6500 now has a forum and it's got a rom from it. The 6500 is rumored to have good drivers so that could be cool.
Unfortunately the Raphael will be GSM if the recent engadget news is correct which pus the thing on T-Mobile.

really, that's cool! 5 rows of a hardware keyboard. Hopefully VzW will open up by then.
I know, I know....
but i am not a flash junkie and don't want my first experience with the TP to be flashing 10 roms. I'm just looking to get a decent one (preferably not a black theme ) and run with it to get to know touchflo and the device. Thanks!
There's a good Wiki associated with this device. Get to know the chefs then start reading their threads. Took me about an evening to find what I was looking for.
Just my opinion but, NATF's all the way! And the FuzeBerry of course....
Hi there
Ive coome over from the hermes camp too (although its still running)
i would personally reccomend the lantis os roms but again, and you'll see this all over xda, you will only find the best rom for you after flashing a few
and theres only really a handful to try!
good luck and make sure you've hardspl'd and have your stock rom and radio versions written down or backed up just in case you have to do a warranty return! saves u the hassle of trying to hunt it down in the panic!

You should try them all, so you can see what the difference between a good and bad rom is. Each rom is built different for different so not all roms may suit your needs..... but i agree on Lantis OS being my favorite right now.
I personally tried Romeo, NATF and Proven and decided to stick with Proven.
I had problems with the screen shutting off during calls with Romeo.
I experienced TF3D lag with NATF.
Proven has been rock solid and I like the Diamond tweaks he's incorporated.
if you don't like TF3D go with Da_G.. I'm actually running a VGA version of HTC Home on mine.. love the speed.
Thread like these usually get closed pretty fast, I'm suprised that yours last a day
It's really all depend on what you like, they are all great. For the past few days, I've tried many of them. And to be honest, there is no BEST one. It's really depend on what you need and what you like.
Da_G is has the cleanest ROM NaTF's
Elite RC2 Is fully loaded with a new feeling
NATF Is stable, and GPS lock is pretty quick (update very often)
Proven, it's like Elite with less Applications and function (cleaner)
Romeo is very stable
.... Those are what i've tried
Check the Wikki in sticky post.
I think it is a good question that should come up from time to time.. sure everyone has their personal preferences but for a new person wanting a quick rundown on the most current ROMS to date.. just saving the guy some time downloading and flashing all those different ROMS. anyone here flashed all released ROMS to date?
I also went from the Hermes (8525) about a week and a half ago. Fuze was my christmas present .
I tried NATF's ROM for about a week and had many problems, which i seemed to ignore because of all its good feedback. I then tried Lantis OS and had no problems at all, I am still currently using it. No errors and speedy fast.
My suggestion is Lantis OS for the moment, but NATF is suppose to be releasing his v4.0 ROM sometime today or tomorrow so you should look out for that as well.
Good luck with your fuze and your flashing, and enjoy that beautiful VGA screen that i loved when i got it compared to the Hermes
I don't think that XDA-developers ever had any problems with folks discussing ROMs and their xp with the various flavors in a rational manner. We usually end up shutting down threads because the first reply is "Use search you id10t!" followed by general thread degeneration.
Anyhoo.. normally I'm one of the chefs, but with this device I've found that Da_G's direction mirrors the way I'd be going anyway. He's more interested in technical improvements to the GDI, GPS etc than in all the additional apps. I'm pretty confident that he's well on his way to creating a solid base ROM that's free for anyone to work from. Exactly what I would have done. Why re-invent the wheel?
This is what these kinds of threads are supposed to be like! As stated by a couple people previously, normally these get dismissed and/or flamed. When people ask these types of questions, usually they are not asking (at least the smart ones aren't) which ROM the SHOULD flash, but rather what is your experiances with the ones you have used.
I understand how confusing it may be trying to decide which one to use - they all look the same as far as applications that are cooked in. Only difference aesthetically are the different themes and that alone is not a deciding factor for me.
Just as everyone has stated - just try some out and see how they feel to you. ie button mapping, folder layout, apps installed, speed, etc. I personally like Aruppenthal's RRE ROM but that's just my 2 cents.
FYI: From what I've seen, EVERY ROM has its own bugs/quirks that may or may not annoy you.

Any chance you could post the version your using? I can't seem to find a VGA version and I am getting ready to get rid of TouchFlo 3D. Or post the thread you got it from.

I second the Lantis OS. I am using it as well. It is very fast and stable. I had problems with NATF's as well. But I will try NATF's v4.0 when it is released.

The one I'm using is a cab called htchome2.cab that I found in the diamond forum...works fine but the media player tab does not work.
And I have been using either Lantis or DaG Rom's....I use Blackberry Connect which adds lag to the fuze anyway but it seems to affect these Roms the least. I would be interested in hearing what Rom's Blackberry Connect users are fond of as it seems to make a big difference.
i too just got my Fuze from Kaiser. right now im using RomEOS and really like it. i might try the Da_G because i really dont care about TF3D.
I know these things were better on my Wing and on my Mogul, but I can't imagine things getting any better on the Touch Pro. I mean it seems really hard to top...

You are in for a big surprise....
Amen to that.. .LOL
I have tried (almost) all of the cooked ROM's in this Rapahel forum. Some put more emphasis on being faster and lighter than the stock and others just a better all-around package, enhancements and fixes. Each one and his own tastes with what they are looking for. There are also those who are just fine with the stock.
Trying out new ROM's is a trial and error experience and it takes time until you hit the one you like, but it is also fun and addictive... , I'm totally an addict.
If you are not quite pleased with performance or something about your phone and tweaks are not something that can fix it- you have come to the right place.
why do i feel like this thread is beating a dead horse?

No of course not, this is a forum filled with HTC Stock ROM fanatics...
To be honest I always wondered, what makes them so special.
I mean what (except additional programs or OS build updates) they do "better" that I cannot do by just registry tweaking etc.
It would be VERY helpful if there was a list with comparing bias, extras etc.

Well if you guys say so...
My Wing desperately needed cooked ROMs cuz the stock one was so slow. Same with my Mogul, except that with that phone the cooked ones were faster but less stable.
I dunno if I want to try this on my new Touch Pro just yet. I need more of a detailed testimonial I guess before I decide to operate on my baby...

I will have to say yes, the cooked roms are better than the stock one.
Mine is majorly faster than it was out of the box, the GPS works better, and programs are using less memory. Most things you might be able to achieve on your own, however most include updates to the drivers for the wireless, video card, os, etc that you would not be able to do yourself (or at least not easily)

Lol, yes. Its like a whole new phone. ATT stock ROM was so laggy I almost wanted to return the whole thing. That's just my anecdotal experience, next time I flash the stock ROM I'll bench it if you want.
CFC compressed TF3D and such, plenty of cooked-in optimizations contributed from all over the community that the stock ROM has no idea about, you can't replicate a good chef's ROM with reghacks alone.

I also have a wing and a touch pro. I found the AT&T stock rom to be ok vs my wing custom rom. I then loaded a lot of the roms on the forum and seen how much better it could be. No overloaded os, way more memory, more gps tools, unlocked HSDPA/HSUPA, super fast speeds vs stock rom, working 3d drivers (on some but not all custom roms) and alot more changes. Try out RRE rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=467592. Its the best rom I have every used on any wm device.
Well if you guys say so I'll go ahead and do it. I can't believe it gets better than this!

Oddly enough, I ran the stock Fuze ROM for a while, and I'd agree completely that out of the box it is slllloooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwwww. I flashed a few ROM's ,eventually settled on RRE until the later versions started exhibiting serious battery drain issues. I flashed back to stock to wait for a fix for that and right now the STOCK AT&T FUZE ROM is as fast and stable as RRE, with all the great battery of the original.

funny you should say that, but a co-worker of mine did do that, he returned it shortly after getting it. I was able to convince him to get it again, and allow me to "re-flash" (that was after he played with mine and was impressed)
So how do I go about flashing a CDMA Touch Pro? I hear that the HardSPL program out there doesn't work with CDMA phones.

East New YOrk here too mang
ANyway, I figured out how to flash CMDA phones over at PPCGeeks. I will report back for possible ownage.
bad grammar, stupid question. Of course they are better, they have different drivers, newer applications, and have stuff added that can only be cooked in. Some of the stuff you can add through cabs and by messing with the registry but everything is faster cooked in
I have searched the forum, but I found some people saying I can do that. Some said the FUZE has different hardware and cannot be flashed into HTC official firmware. Which is the correct answer?
If I really can, what else should I beware of? Any thing will not work after the flash?
Thanks.
Yes you can...
For starters your keyboard mapping will be wrong, but that is easily fixed by any number of CABs you can find in the forum. You also won't have any of the AT&T special apps.
I guess the real question is "why"?
If you're going to go through the effort of flashing, it makes much more sense to flash in one of the cooked ROMs that offer more features.

I agree with Rob - Why would you want to? Unless say you are modding it to include the front facing camera and want the rom to be able to take advantage of that. Other wise you will have to jump through hoops just to get it to work.

Because the original HTC rom is thoroughly tested and, HTC did make it since they made the hardware i believe they know the best software for it as well.
No offense to the cooks and all but I have not come across a faster, smoother, bug-free rom than the "Asia Build 20764" released on march 16th.
Even though I like the cool look aof the custom roms thereis no competing with the performance of the original HTC roms.
I agree with Stalix. I personally just prefer the official HTC firmware. Apparently, HTC know their hardware and have working with their software in this field for long, they should have a more stable firmware. And I personally hate to see at&t logos in my phone.(does FUZE have those logos?)
Same idea when I install my PC, I would install Microsoft official version not those modded version. They may have bug or viruses due to their experience of modding.
So on the forum what kid of key word means it's official HTC firmware? I have seen hundreds of firmware here.

They also do not turn on certain features. Take a look at all the power management features you can turn on with Advance Config. They skip out on a lot stuff so then they do not have to support it. If you have more things to support then you need a bigger support staff which is more money out the door for them...A ROM (like mine) based on an official release can be much more faster, stable and more enjoyable than a OEM ROM. Look at the TytN II...it can use the YouTube app fine but why do they not include it...

How can I revert cooked ROMs back to OEM HTC ROM?
thanks
I have done the flash!
Yeah I have done the flash to my fuze and the UK rom is the best way to go. I love the boot screen saying Touch Pro! You will definitely need the keyboard fix as stated earlier. You will need to find a UK serial so you can grab the rom. There is one in the xda archive. Also, get a calculator cab because the stock one is not always the best. They are also on here. When flashing the HTC rom it will take a couple of more minutes than the others. Mine was stuck on 11% for a 2 minutes. But it will complete beautifully. So also It is very stable. Let me know how you like it.

Yea but you have to also realize that all "cooked ROMs" are based off an official build in the first place.
Take a look at the ROMs available now for the KAISER; they are much better and much improved as developers are able to port updated applications to older devices, improving their performance, and functionality.
If HTC Software was so great, developers wouldnt be looking at other 3D drivers from devices such as the Omnia or the ATI 3D drivers, to improve their devices.
EDIT: To answer the original thread makers question, yes you can flash an HTC ROM to your Fuze provided you have HARDSPL'd your device first. The only thing you would need to change is the keyboard mapping which can be done by a .CAB

This. HTC might "know thier hardware" but that's exactly why you take their official ROM and modify it. Then I have my Fuze settings without running keyboard customization, better apps and tools that aren't in the official ROM, and tweaks to make it even faster. Best of both worlds.
i dont deal with cook Roms anymore, I got out of that business since the MDA Wizard.
Since then I have owned the Treo 750, ATT 8525, HTC TYNT II, and now the FUZE (touch Pro) and I have sticked to official release ROMS.
Its a personal choice really. I have had great experiences with Official Roms and I can do all the tweaks and add all the cabs my self.
So sad to see this Fuze forum flooded with so many cook ROMS. Everybody wants to be a Chef these days. I just feel bad for all the new bees coming in here and can't even decide which ROM to use

No worries with flashing Touch PRO HTC roms or cooked roms on the ATT Fuze
I am currently using WM6.5 for the Touch PRO on an unlocked Fuze with a Canadian 3G provider with ZERO problems !

go to the Raphael Wiki page and will link you to the proper page for download
3g settings and link!
First off the rom for official download will be found at the following:
www.htc.com/europe
Then you will need the UK S/N code which is as follows:
HT833K018918
This was in the archive much props to who uploaded it however I will repost it as to the fact it was not easy to find. This will give you the UK rom! I love the video that plays at the beginning! It is great with battery life as well! So then grab your fuze keyboard fix and it is as if it were always a touch pro!!
Cheers and enjoy!

Well it is a ROM DEVELOPMENT forum. Having choices is kinda the point since which ROM to use is personal preference. Personally, since UC works well, I change between them quite a bit.
Hey Guys,
How are you today?
Like all of you can read on the title I need a Chef for cooking my personal ROM for my T-Mobile HD HD2, which at the moment, for me, is the best device and will never die.
My ideas are based on 2 roms, CRACING ROM & NRGZ28 ROM, specifically on CR192 DHD v6.5.3.1.5 VGTX and Energy.Leo.21916.Sense2.5.Jul.04.
Both of the Chefs, CRACING and NRGZ28, know what I asking for but currently they don't have time to put together my ideas.
Practically my Project is based on CR192 DHD v6.5.3.1.5 VGTX ROM and first work is to start change 4 things in this rom, I will be glad to have this rom with Classic Home Tabs, like the stock roms, the Menu/Start on top left corner, like the original 1, background of the small clock on top right corner white and the numbers of the clock black and upgrade some specs ecc. Is not becouse is not good, absolutely, is amazing rom, but I like the rom in different mode. Is just me, nothing is wrong with this roms but I pretend something for me.
Also I want to keep alive this ROMs.
After this 4 changes I will be happy to put into the CRACING rom all the Applications, Tweeks, Lunch Android and Set-ups like or from the Energy ROM, but keeping the full style and full ROM of CRACING, Folders, Themes, almost everything.
Also if we are inside that rom it will be good to upgrade the speed, graphics and ad more progs which I know, for speed and graphics just if is possible.
The most important thing, and I said MOST IMPORTANT, is the BATTERY.
The battery have to stay charge long as he can.
Guys, Chefs, Anybody, I am ignorant in this stuff and I can't do this job, so I will pay for the work if someone EXPERT can do this for me.
Like my Avatar, I need a brain for my machine!
My offer strat from 100 USD to make the small few changes on the CRACING ROM CR192 DHD v6.5.3.1.5 VGTX,
and the payment for the work go up if all my request will be made by a Chef to cooking my ROM based on what I already said.
Who is with me?
Please, do not tell me "stick with some rom" or " it can't be done" or any excuses, I know it can be done but just by an expert in this section.
Anyone?
Folks, if my offer is too low just let me know how much it will cost to make my project.
I am serious about this, for someone maybe crazy, but I want do this.
Let me know.
You could try making the rom on your own, its pretty easy to make a rom once you learn the basics. To add all your extras and create a perfect rom that suits you can take some time, especially finding them and checking the battery drain. Since you want something like CRACING's rom use his kitchen and then add the extras you need.

I understand, but I really need help from someone who know how do this. I really can't do this by my own, I cry just to understand how I can upgrade my HTC, is not the job for me now and I want a massive ROM soon as is possible. I know we are in the community where nobody sell they roms but I asking for help of experts who can do this work. Is not so easy and I know the hard work of this people so I will pay, for real. If someone don't believe me i will pay in advance 50%.
Someone said, why do you not upgrade with Android? I will, not now, currently I have all what is working well with Windows Mobile 6.5.
Think also about that; I have a BMW M3 and I go to Garage Racing (I can do some work on my engine but everything I can't do by myself) so I asking to performing my engine like I like.
So here we are! Who can do this work?
I could try making it but haven't really made roms for hd2 the only one i made for was my HTC Hermes few years back. I'll download Cracings kitchen and try it if i still remember the stuff let you know tommorow or the day after if i can still cook roms, since i'm busy with school stuff these days. If i can i'll be glad to help you, but no promises yet.

thanks, I appreciate. I hope you can.
When you try to do some changes on the CR192 DHD v6.5.3.1.5 VGTX ROM start with few basic changes which I will like to change, like:
Classic (Original stock) Home Screen Tabs inside the Sense, from Left to Right - all with style of the actual CRASING ROM.
Menu/Start on top left corner, like the stock one. (Original)
Background of the digital clock on top right corner, switch from black to the colour of the theme, should be white, and make the numbers of the clock Black, which right now are white.
We (you) try to do this for the beginning, later we think about the remaining stuffs.
Let me know,
Thanks.
PS: Anyone want help are welcome!!
Ok so last night downloaded two kitchen Cracings and GhostX's and tried them out. CRACINGS was something brand new for me and was a bit confusing but ii tried it out tried adding wm 6.5 build but had issues and not was not sure what to do. The other kitchen was somewhat familiar since i used oskitchen for my hermes so decided to add the latest 6.5 build which worked but i couldn't get CRACINGS GTX Sense theme to work found a Project which i think CRACINGS theme is based of tried using that imported great tried bulding a rom. The build was successful but got an error while flashing half way through, probably the size since it was around 450mb and i have EUR HD2 so yeah.
Sorry but I think I might give up soon
but if you want something clean and stable with good battery and more than 270mb free with sense try : CleanEX RV Standard v1.02 WM 6.5 CHOOSE STANDARD 1.02 i flash back to it when i feel wp7 is too restricted like right now (*sigh* I'm addicted to flashing roms, I flash a new rom each month sometimes more frequent)
and if you want to make sense look like Cracing's rom: try this GTX THEME 1.8.5 it should work with that rom I think.
i'll try to see if i can get the rom to work if not you can always try my suggestion above and if you need help with somethin let me know

No man, DON'T GIVE UP!
At the moment you are the only one who try to help me, see this thread, is dead!
if I lose you I will lose any hope.
I spoke to CRACING before open this section and maybe he don't know about this thread but he said he will help if I need too, so contact him and explain which problems you find to change his rom, also send the link of this thread and said I told you to contact him.
You already have the visual of his kitchen so you know what ask.
I try to contact him as well.
I saw the 2 link which you sended to me and is not the same, the ROM CleanEX RV has issue and the Theme GTX is different, is close but different and I will stick with something which is not working properly.
I also agree about WM7, is too restricted.
Let me know.
Cheers.
@Suhaib10
I too was using OSKitchen earlier but later I found it had memory leaks and etc which I don't remember now. OSBuilder is bit complex and takes some time to understand things. If there is a lil mistake, either ROM won't build or device won't boot up. But for professionals, its a great kitchen.
For making easier to people, I have included the kitchen I used to build ROM. If you tried to use it with your kitchen, either it would be osbuilder or etc, you will face major issues.
Wish I could help eclyptos but I no longer have HD2 to test and more busy in life. Not just my house construction (its almost over) but many different things. No time for learning programming languages that helps for develop things on android. :|
And acutully ROM cooking is not that easy. It takes lots of time and research. You will never endup in stable and/or bugfree ROM, even if you do then you will be a master. So becoming a master, Isn't so easy.
eclyptos just doesn't want stuffs in ROM but want to have WM6.1, So its a bit difficult job and things won't workout as expected.
Best of luck, eclyptos.

I don't know how it is work but should be WM6.1 with Sense, because if you say just WM6.1 somebody get confused because WM6.1 don't have Manilla or Sense or something like that. I hope keep you rom with modify Sense, like the stock ROM (Original One).
Thanks for the Good Luck, I (We) will need that.

this is something, I can't understand exactly what you did but something you build, anyway if your HD2 is the EU and you can't test the rom, I can, actually I don't use HD2 becouse is not ready, I use my old Diamond 2.
if I brick the phone you will be not paid, ha ha ha
Hey CRACING thanks for the tip. Do you know any good guide for wm rom building using OSBUILDER since the ones i found were mainly for wp7
AND eclyptos i'm a bit confused do you want a 6.1 rom or 6.5 COM2 (the stock type with start on top left)
P.S. i'm currently trying to figure out osbuilder, but will take some time before i start making a rom.

I kinda forgot most of things now but I think I learn t my self and some help from OSbuilder developers and senior developers. Yes osbuilder is used for wp7 now but works for both. I guess I have seen guides for cooking ROMs using osbuilder but have to search again. If I find any, will let you know.

WM6.5 had startmenu on top left? well, I cannot remember well. All I remember now is wm6.1 had startmenu on top and wm6.5 on bottom.

Tmous/US HD2 or EU HD2 doesn't matter. my kitchen uses latest kernel and drivers which supports both devices. That also means a single ROM of mine supports both devices.

well if you just wanted WM6.1 without sense and/or any htc stuffs, that wasn't a difficult job.

I don't know which kitchen you looking for but I find this one:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=774430
and
don't be confused! I told you, I want CRACING rom but with this few different things. (if possible)
That not mean don't exist ROM like CRASING with Start on top left corner and Classic Home Tabs like in the Stocks ROMs AND also with 4 columns of Quick Links.
CRACING is confused because I told him about the ENERGY ROM (Energy.Leo.21916.Sense2.5.Jul.04) which is based on OS version 5.2.21916 (21916.5.0.93) but is Windows Mobile 6.5 Pro, he said is WM 6.1 and i don't know why?
CRACING roms is based on OS 23153 and 29022, maybe this is the difference because all the time when I try to find the roms ONLY 21916 was the rom set-up in the mode like I like.
That's mean probably is WM 6.5 COM2 (the stock type with start on top left)
I hope I clarified.

no, I don't want WM 6.1, I told you, we had some misunderstanding, the Energy rom is Windows Mobile 6.5 with Manila 2.5.20212114.0 but is based on different OS version so can't be 6.1 and like I said to Suhaib10 I don't understand why you said so?
All the time when I search for Custom ROM I have to look for the OS version to understand in which mode is made.
Maybe if we do your ROM, all the same, but based on OS 21916 maybe we solve the problem?
I don't know, I just try to figure out what we can do.
Also if I understood right your rom is from desire HD device, right?
or maybe I don't understood nothing, so never mind!

I think I confused. Yes WM 6.5 (those are 217XX, 218XX and 219XX) have startmenu on top and WM6.5.X (those are 216XX, 22XXX, 23XXX, 28XXX, 29XXX) have startmenu on bottom.
My older ROMs before CR192 DHD 0.3 was using WM6.5 (startmenu on top) but was using OSKitchen. I have attached screenshot below and also I have the ROM.
So finally is that what you wanted? If you don't mind about older packages (of courses should have because it os build itself is old) and minor bugs, I can upload for you.
P.s but you are looking for same ROM with gtx theme isn't it?

Thats the one he is most likely talking about since 21916 is 6.5.
By the way CRACING i managed to get the 21916 build in your kitchen. Are there any extra components that i need to remove other than CHT to get stock Sense sliding bar and no extra widgets.

YES, we are close, the type of the rom is exactly like in the pics but I will be glad if the ROM will be like your GTX (or Theme).
That's mean have to have all, 4 columns Quick links, Taskbar icons, Tweeks, Folders exc...
I also saw after the installation of Opera 10 on your rom GTX, the icon of the Opera was a little old, graphically bad, was not really nice. The official original T-Mobile ROM for HD2 has amazing nice icons for the app after I try one, so maybe we have to update the .dll of the icons to get the latest stylish type of icons after we solve the OS issue.
:fingers-crossed:
