there is a program that i use for my kaiser rom don't know if it supports rapheal nbh files or not. i am away from comp will attach to this post or u can search around for nbh extract ...
I've installed this new ROM. overall, battery life seems not bad, radio quality is good. what is not working at all is the GPS. I just cannot make it work. I've used both gpsviewer and HTC gps tool and both tools suddenly crashed.
did someone succeed starting the GPS tool in this rom?.

I'm installing now, minus the bootloader. The rom has a bootloader, splash, radio and os.
does anyone know how to make a cab to fix the keyboard issue on this type of roms?. I really like this ROM but is complicated to have a totally different keyboard layout.

Here is the radio by itself. Please Note: I do not have a Fuze yet, so I could not test this file. I extracted the whole ROM using RaphaelKitchen, and then used HTC ROM Tool v1.1.1 to build an NBH file containing only the radio.

Set the following registry key to 0 (zero):
HKLM\Hardware\DeviceMap\Keybd\CWSLayout
wait 15 seconds, then reboot.
So far I like the ROM, seems fast and solid. Now to make a clean version.

I had no problems using the GPS, I'll check for lag when I go for a ride later.
GPS Tool 1.04 works fine as wel, as well as HTC GPS Tool v.1.1.0l.
Weird,i am having troubles to get a fix with .32 (before .28 no problems) also i cleared the cache with htc gps tool,also tryed quikgps,back to .28 for me

How to get Cyberon working?
I have a question of my own: I've noticed AT&T roms that come with Microsoft Voice Command are difficult to get Cyberon Voice Dialer working on. Cyberon works flawless on HTC based roms. Does anyone know the trick to disable MSVC and get any version (1.2 or 2.51) of Cyberon working?

Hi all thanks for the new rom. Getting Vodafone UK Touch Pro this week and the first thing I was to do it update it. This rom is the latest out naturally I will be using SPL. However, I remember from my Kiaser that internet would now work out of the box due ATT proxy setting there was a cab file around to solve this. Will this also be an issue with this rom and will the old cab work. Ideas welcome. Thanks all for taking the time to read.

I haven't had to fiddle to turn off the proxy on this AT&T ROM for a change. Even though I'm on AT&T, I never use the proxy. Also, in the \windows directory there is 2 cabs for remove/install hidden proxy.
Update: As per my sig, I've switched off this ROM as it doesn't like working with Cyberon Voice Speed Dialer, which for me works better for voice dialing.

Radio version 1.27.00.00 is available for the Hermes!
This radio has HTC_BOOT 0107, so it is "safe" to upgrade. We have it in two flavours:
Shipped upgrade (signed NBH file) containing only the radio, valid for:
HERM300 T-Mobile devices with CID starting with "T-MOB1"
SuperCID devices
NOTE: SuperCID (unlocked) devices with HTC_BOOT 0108 (for example SoftBank X01HT post Dec-2nd) must use bootloader SPL-1.09 to flash this radio!
Download: RUU_Hermes_TMD-TMA_Radiopatch_1.27.00.00_107_GER.exe
Extracted upgrade (NBF file) valid for:
Hermes devices with bootloader 1.04 and HTC_BOOT (radio bootloader) version 0107.
Remember:
- screen will show "Upgrade Radio Stack Please wait........."
- after finishing flashing radio (about 15 min) you will see an "Upgrade Error", but the radio ROM will be flashed anyway.

what makes you think there ever will be gps support??????...it will be most probbably a hack, as i cant see the providers etc will evert release one
I think that with this radio rom phone can faster logon to BTS when we turn phone on

I don't believe in official support.
Trinity users also don't get GPS from their providers but can happily use the GPS.

The probles is this, posted by myself in http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=291297:
- But THE PROBLEM is that the data calls are broken in this ROM. I used direct Modem connection with my work (we got two 56k Modem waiting for incoming calls). It connects without apparently problems with the modem (maybe it takes more time than the older ROM) but the data interchange is very sloooooooow and suddenly it stops! The data call isn't dropped but it doesn't interchange data after two or three minutes of slooooooow interchange. Finally, if you close the call and tries to reconnect it can't!!!! WM5 says that an unknown error happens and can't be connected!!!!
After a soft reset you can connect again but it remains very sloooooow...
Fortunately I've switched back to the old and stable 1.20.31.10 ROM and everything works normal now (thank God!).

It's very easy to check. Seems to be a stability problem.
guys, production Radio firmware revision would be 1.28. as per latest Trinity and Cavalier.
1.27 seems to be BETA release.

If you are in Europe, the HTC Network Wizard should take care of that automatically. If not, you may need to visit your network provider's homepage for the details. For Internet, you need APN, Username and Password. The settings for MMS can be found in Messaging -> MMS -> Menü -> Extras -> Optionen -> MMS -> Server.
I had luck to grab a sinlock-free ameo!
Just putted TomTom 6030 on the ameo - GPS is also working without problems!

HTC WM6 German ROM: Can it drain my BT Headset???
Hi,
a few days ago I installed the HTC WM6 German ROM on my T-Mob Ameo.
I'm very happy with this ROM because it's fast and stable and all my needed programs are running.
But after the WM6 installation my BT headset (Plantronics Discovery 655) has only 3-4 hours standby time (without any phonecall and it is fully charged).
Is it possible that the WM6 bluetooth stack drains my BT headset???

The first "sticky" thread in thes forum has the Black Touch ROM which is the only cooked ROM for the Athena. I'm not sure if it is available in German but it's a great ROM.

I just downloaded Radio Hermes_Radio_v1.47.30.10. I run RUUWrapper.exe and it says it's going to update from version "Shamanix WM6 U" to version 1.98.3
is that ok?? shouldn't it say 1.47.30.10?? (I currently have version 1.34 and a Shaps WM6 ROM)

At the moment, I'm trialing 1.56.70.11 - however I've noticed a few issues when dialing numbers. I'm not sure if it's the Radio version or the Optus network being retarded... I used to use 1.48.00.10 and this worked fine.
Usually takes a month or so to properly test a radio rom though
If you check the Hermes Wiki here there is already an archive of the radios.

I know this is probably a dumb question but i'm gonna ask it anyway. I am in the uk on 02... is there a particular one i should use... if not.. what is the difference between them all?

Radio is to improved your cell network, if u'r using hermes you'll see it in setting > system > device information. if you dont find any trouble in your shiped radio than it ok, but if you think the batteery drains to fast or the signal quality is to low, than may be you should try diffrent radio.
What Radio Rom should i use?

I have flashed my rom to CRC's 13.1-pre 7. It works like a dream. I am in Australia and my provider is 3. My current Radio Rom is: 1.47.30.10.
It seems to work all ok but my battery life is average and 3's coverage is average in some areas.
Any recommendations?

For some reason the only radio that worked for me is 1.16 I am smack-dab in the middle of the US. All the other radios kept freezing phone in the middle of a phone call, especially when I had my bluetooth headset connected (Jawbone) from 1.27 the the latest. Funny thing is that 1.16 always shows a G instead of an E in taskbar but is connected at edge speed.
Just thought I wuld throw that out there. Using CRC 13.0 Rom. By the way great job CRC for throwin these radio packs together.

It´s better do be sure before it´s to late...those pesky hell radios are very hard to remove/downgrade from. And I still like the Sedna radio, if that new one doesn´t satisfy me...

Thats the sintoms of an incompatible ROM... it´s not a radio problem, it´s just because your ROM is not compatible with that radio.
I will stick to Sedna one for now... thanks to Tom for the effort

So, after try to call or receive call, phone freeze or lost any sounds, i can't hear anything and noone hear me, phone lost any soundsystem working :/
Enroll back to 1.58.21.23 now all things is working fine!
Maybe there is better r-rom for me, not 1.58.21.23?
But looks like 1.65.24.36 not work at all

Some Infos about Radios!
Radio isnt only a GSM Stack to handle Calls and Data Transfers on a Secound CPU Core. The Radio inculded the real Hardware Drivers and the XIP is more a bridge to the Radio OS Provided Hardware functions. If you use the wrong XIP or Radio, you havent no sound and your Phone doesnt Ring. This are the common error!!! Secoundare errors are, Powermanagement and Camera Problems. Next low grade errors are less GSM frequencys or limited Transmition Power of the GSM AMP.
We havent full decoded the Radio and SPL.
The real Driver are every time in the Radio. This is why nobody found 3d speedup functions in the HTC Daimond OS. They look every time on the wronge Place. I think too, if we crossmix a Daimond Radio with Niki we can enable 3d too! In the moment we havent any tool to decode the EFS and look inside the Radio Config.
What means what?
Radio Version : 1.65.24.36
First three digit are Version Numbers. Last is Country ID!
Protocol: 25.94.40.06H
All four Digit are Version Numbers and the last letter is the Radio Configuration ID, it change if you have a very dirty crash or flash a to high Radio OS Version. You can found W and H on Niki, some times you can see BH too. I am not sure what its tells!
All ppls they have a Problem like, if you cancel a Call and it doesnt disconnect or some strange errors, ppls but you Batterie out! The Radio Rom is the only part, you cant reset! If you Flash complet different Radios, old Config is in Ram and can confuse the new Radio very hard! Flash a Radio after that, but Batterie out and start Phone after some secounds! I will analyse the radio later, possible we can convert all NEON Radio to Niki and all new Kaiser!
Wow I think this should be our highest priority at the moment. If we can find these drivers, it would be amazing. What do we need to do? Do you need testers?

I'm thinking of reinstall Niki Project Rom Editor v2.1.3. rom.
NO ... change the Radio ... look in the Radio Thread and select a other! I think this Radio is more for a new Type of Niki OS we doesnt use in the moment!
Its like the first 1.58 Radios on the Kaiser Platform. Same OS will work realy good with this Radio! I have read Kaiser Threads and the most Guys like this Rom.
In the moment ... no one can use it. I think, Tom will support this Type of Radios.
I test soon the compatiblity with neon os ... if it works better ... i delete this rom in my thread and make a neon only version!

You are the only one, in my thread, many people have tried the WM6.5 after the WM6.1 v3.2 and some have returned to v3.2, no one has had this kind of problem
I test continually the 3.2 ITA, 3.2 WWE, and 6.5 ITA and 6.5 WWE
and I have never had that problem

No, its alright i found it very strange because no matter how many times i've tried entering pin code to give access it just won't let anyone connect through to my htc touch dual. I have updateded my hardspl to 1.22 and radio to the most stable version still nothing... I'm just going to flash to my original rom and see how that goes. Thanks !

i am a stupid .... after installazion of wm 6.5 I had done a soft reset ..... all now works well
