I'm new to this forum, and i've flashed my rom following the guide correctly, but unfortunately after i flashed it my bluetooth feature has stopped functioning properly. I was wondering if anyone would know of any kind of fix.
Which Rom did you flash?
What's exactly the Problem?
- No Bluetooth at all?
- Can't receive/send files?

I've flashed it with Salvy.C.83_v3 3G 16 keys, The problem is i can see people with my bluetooth but i cannot connect with them and cannot receive / send files... would you know any solution ?

You are the only one, in my thread, many people have tried the WM6.5 after the WM6.1 v3.2 and some have returned to v3.2, no one has had this kind of problem
I test continually the 3.2 ITA, 3.2 WWE, and 6.5 ITA and 6.5 WWE
and I have never had that problem

No, its alright i found it very strange because no matter how many times i've tried entering pin code to give access it just won't let anyone connect through to my htc touch dual. I have updateded my hardspl to 1.22 and radio to the most stable version still nothing... I'm just going to flash to my original rom and see how that goes. Thanks !

Try to do an HardReset with hardware buttons (NO software)
i am a stupid .... after installazion of wm 6.5 I had done a soft reset ..... all now works well

I have Dpopd 818 Pro and upgrade to WM6, tried both WM6 Crossbow PDAViet ROM v3 and v4, both of them run into the issue where when the phone gets into stand by the phone does not ring when my friend call me.
I've update the Radio v2.61.21. and it doesn't help. Can anyone suggest the solution?
Update:
I downgrade it back to WM5, and the problem is not repro.
There must be some setting different to cause this issue.
Issue Resolved:
By downgrade the RADIO ROM to 2.19 solve the problem!
Same was for me with PDAViet ROM v3, after this I upgraded to V4 - and now 3 days without problems...

Did you try have your phone stand by for couple hours and try to call your phone from another phone, and see if your phone is ringing?

I have the same problem too, even with other rom(smart1, Aserg AKU 3.3.13 US). Now i've downgrade the radio rom to 2.19.21, seems fine now.
I also have 818pro with PDAViet 4.0.0.4 now.
After I installed 4.0.0.3a I also had this problem. But I solved the problem assigning a new sound as the default one. Don't use the ones that come with rom. Rather copy a new mp3 or wav to the phone and go to the file explorer and set that file as new ringtone.

Can you try to chamg your ringtone, as onesolo suggest below and see if you have the same issue? Thanks!

Don't bother to try it, I just did, and it still repro for me.
I think is the WM6 rom problem.

i have an idea, just not so sure about it.
do you have SPL 2.2?
i found that SPL 2.15 work very poor with new radio rom builds, it goes fine with only radio rom 2.19 and 2.20.
can anybody confirm?

I'm downgrage the RADIO rom to 2.19, and I will let you know if the problem has solved. Thank you for the suggestion.
Take a look at Settings/Personal/Sounds & Notifications/Notifications, event "Phone:Incoming call", and Settings/Phone/Sounds Tab.
For me, these settings WERE DIFFERENT!, and my prophet do not ring until set the same value for both...

My guess is that all these WM6 ROMs are stable by itself. It is when it fully loading with all sorts of you-know-what WM5 applications that something start stepping on something and "bugs" show up. My Chinese add-on caused me some headache with Windows Live and solved after about one and half month for the program to be identified.
The hardest part is nailing which program is "green" for the particular WM6 ROM.
What appls you have on the machine? How extensively you use your machine other than use it as a plain phone?

Internet sharing issue w/ HTC rom
I've flashed this rom to my unlocked Orange supplied p6500 - now when I connect to 3g/gprs for internet sharing ( and sometimes when dialling up on the device) it says 'unable to connect' and I have to try again. It works fine the second time, it's just annoying! I wish I hadn't flashed it now. Anyone got the radio info for the orange rom?

i have downloaded the rom but when i try to run it it says i can't, something to do with the upload utility, i am trying to downgrade from windows mobile 6.1 to 6.0 is it doable? or is it just a pipe dream?

there is a program that i use for my kaiser rom don't know if it supports rapheal nbh files or not. i am away from comp will attach to this post or u can search around for nbh extract ...
I've installed this new ROM. overall, battery life seems not bad, radio quality is good. what is not working at all is the GPS. I just cannot make it work. I've used both gpsviewer and HTC gps tool and both tools suddenly crashed.
did someone succeed starting the GPS tool in this rom?.

I'm installing now, minus the bootloader. The rom has a bootloader, splash, radio and os.
does anyone know how to make a cab to fix the keyboard issue on this type of roms?. I really like this ROM but is complicated to have a totally different keyboard layout.

Here is the radio by itself. Please Note: I do not have a Fuze yet, so I could not test this file. I extracted the whole ROM using RaphaelKitchen, and then used HTC ROM Tool v1.1.1 to build an NBH file containing only the radio.

Set the following registry key to 0 (zero):
HKLM\Hardware\DeviceMap\Keybd\CWSLayout
wait 15 seconds, then reboot.
So far I like the ROM, seems fast and solid. Now to make a clean version.

I had no problems using the GPS, I'll check for lag when I go for a ride later.
GPS Tool 1.04 works fine as wel, as well as HTC GPS Tool v.1.1.0l.
Weird,i am having troubles to get a fix with .32 (before .28 no problems) also i cleared the cache with htc gps tool,also tryed quikgps,back to .28 for me

How to get Cyberon working?
I have a question of my own: I've noticed AT&T roms that come with Microsoft Voice Command are difficult to get Cyberon Voice Dialer working on. Cyberon works flawless on HTC based roms. Does anyone know the trick to disable MSVC and get any version (1.2 or 2.51) of Cyberon working?

Hi all thanks for the new rom. Getting Vodafone UK Touch Pro this week and the first thing I was to do it update it. This rom is the latest out naturally I will be using SPL. However, I remember from my Kiaser that internet would now work out of the box due ATT proxy setting there was a cab file around to solve this. Will this also be an issue with this rom and will the old cab work. Ideas welcome. Thanks all for taking the time to read.

I haven't had to fiddle to turn off the proxy on this AT&T ROM for a change. Even though I'm on AT&T, I never use the proxy. Also, in the \windows directory there is 2 cabs for remove/install hidden proxy.
Update: As per my sig, I've switched off this ROM as it doesn't like working with Cyberon Voice Speed Dialer, which for me works better for voice dialing.

If the whole thing goes horribly wrong and the phone doesn't start, how do I get it back to a working ROM? I am fearful of having a broken phone and being unable to get it functioning again.

Good insurance to prevent the SPL from being overwritten accidentally. You'll need HardSPL 1.22 if you want to install later ROMs.

With HardSPL installed, turn off phone (eg take battery out and then replace it). Hold down camera button and turn phone back on. This will drop it into bootloader mode. You can connect it to your PC via a USB cable and flash another ROM.

On mine it used to be this radio: 1.58.21.23
I am not sure about the system, but there is a thread for original Roms around here with a german o2 dump ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=368284 ). That should be fine. Don't forget to get rid of the SPL too...

You still seem to have radio version 1.71.09.01. Your phone should not work properly with that one (ok, obviously it doesn't anyway, but the service could notice that). This stock rom needs radio version < 1.65.x.y. So you need to do SPL again to flash the older radio.
Unfortunately I dont know the exact output on the bootscreen for a xda star that has never been flashed, but there may be variations in any case. I dont think the service will notice something if you have the right radio version, a stock rom and no "security unlocked" message in the bootscreen, perhaps someone can confirm this?

thank you very much for the hint about the original German Windows Mobile 6.0 HTC Nike ROM.
I checked that one and it's working fine with HardSPL.
Nevertheless I wasn't satisfied yet so I was looking for an updated ROM and I was successful.
I found an original Windows Mobile 6.1 German ROM and that one is working fine as well.
Due to the fact I hate Rapidshare I have also uploaded the ROM to MegaUpload.
