I got this from slickdeals.net and its on Zagg's webpage as well:
Zagg.com offers 50% off all invisibleSHIELD Products on their site today. Shipping is free if you spend $30 or more, otherwise it starts at $2.99.
Thanks! None of the local stores carry the one for the TP2, and I didn't want to pay shipping. With the 50% off, I'll order two, and have a spare!
Why would you buy 2? It has a lifetime warranty. I ordered it for my fuze and had it replaced 3 times already for free (only payed shipping).
I have been meaning to get one of these for both myself and for my wife's iPhone 3G. Just hadn't done it yet. With the savings I was able to order one for my Tilt 2 AND a customized one for her. She should be ecstatic when she gets it and sees what I put on.
How hard are these things to apply correctly (i.e. straight and without bubbles)? No matter how hard I try I always seem to get a couple of bubbles under the normal screen protectors. Either a bubble or more often a tiny something or other stuck to the underside of the protector that causes it to bubble up around it.
I ordered a full body protector from clearprotector.com using a 50% off coupon couple days ago. No bubbles because I have to wet it before apply to the phone. Work great so far.

If you want to get rid of the bubbles the best thing to use is a card (like a credit card).
I got a replacement for my Fuze a few weeks ago and they sent me a new body kit but without the rubber squeegee and the spray. This time they sent me a sealed soaked sponge and a card to remove the bumps.
The first time I put the body kit on it came out like crap. There were bubbles and imperfections everywhere but the second time it came out a lot better. The card takes out all the bubbles. It took me about 45 minutes to put it on the entire kid but I took my time because I wanted it to look nice.
I also ordered the gadgetshieldz full body kit as well. It was only $5 so I'm skeptical on how good it might be.
simple...if I have to send one back for warranty, I can use the spare until it comes in. I DO NOT want to scratch the screen, like I did on my old tilt a couple years ago, when the supplied at&t one fell apart.

Yeah, I do use a card. Like I said, it seems like as often as not a manage to get a tiny piece of dirt or something under it no matter how careful I try to be. I also ordered their cleaning wipes to push the total over $30 so I could get free shipping so I will make sure to wipe it down good and try wearing gloves and see if that will help.
Ahhh..no worries...I'll sell the other one to one of the guys at work who is getting one after Christmas

Aye guys,
Wanted to get away from Zagg products for a change. I found the coverage of the Zagg protector to be quite low for our devices (at least the picture shows no protection for the entire device). So instead i decided to try out a brand i never heard of.
The brand is called i-mask, and apparently they are authorized at dell to protect their laptops.
I caught wind of their product on ebay, while i was looking for the best protection for my Acer Liquid E.
After a week of payment being cleared, i got the product. It probally took around a hr to put the protection film on, and left it overnight to set.
After about a week i took these pictures:
Coverage was good, though some pieces overfit. Not that bad since i can cut the additional bits to size. I took my time putting this protector on, and there are some bubbles i cannot get rid of, which are sort of visible in the pictures. Otherwise the film sticks pretty well to the device.
On top of this i put my silicon case, and feel my device is fully protected:
Hope this helps other Acer Liquid E/ S100 Users.
Definitely not worth the $12.99 price tag. Better to go for something much cheaper.
I recently purchased this product after a recommendation through the XDA EVO 3D forum. I patiently waited for the product to arrive and upon arrival I noticed two screen protectors but only one LCD wet tissue. It didn't bother me at the time because I figured I would never have a need for the other one. I placed the first screen protector on my phone, and had trouble getting it to fit properly on the phone. I eventually got it on, albeit not straight, but there was this long bubble on the edge of the protector with no dust underneath it. I thought it would eventually go away.
A little more than 24 hours after use, I woke up and noticed a hairline scratch/line that was only on the screen protector. I lifted it up with tape, and ran tape under it but the issue still remained. It was not on my phone as I flipped from bottom to top, and the problem was still there. I thought how useful it was to have a second one, but had an issue since there was no other LCD tissue.
Needless to say after 24 hours of receiving your product, my phone now has no screen protector. I am very disappointed thus far with the product, as it is 2-10X the price of other screen protectors. I had no problem paying the price because I had this sense that this was a quality product.
I contacted their customer service, and their only reply was just a standard copy and paste reply that it's not their fault, and they would send another for $3. They actually expect me to pay more money for their overpriced product. I'm pretty sure these screen protectors aren't even worth that much.
TLDR; Don't buy Clarivue Screen protectors. Opt for the cheap ones. They also have horrible customer service.
/endrant
I am using the clarvue and had no issues. Nor did I use the wet wipe to clean it. I simply used a paper towel and some rubbing alcohol to clean the screen then followed up with a microfiber towel to wipe away any dust particles. Went on easy and any bubbles were easily removed by applying some pressure to the screenguard with a papertowel and pressing toward the nearest side.
These are very high quality and easy to apply. My opinion is your problems were due to user error. No reason to bash a company about their product because you didn't know how to properly apply it.
People always ask what kind of screen protector I have. Clarivue rocks!
I have stuck Seidio for all of my EVO and now 3VO needs and you cant go wrong, thier crystle clear screen protectors are thin protect really well and they don't cost that much. 9.99 on Seidio.com
I ended up with a hairline scratch on mine also after a day or 2. I can say that I will not be getting another. My Zagg on my 4g held up forever and I am rough on my phones. I think I'll get another of those.

I have the clarivue, I got it on without any bubbles... you put it on while you're taking the backing off.... the backing is folded between the screen and the cover.... it goes on smoothly, so long as the screen is clean.
As fr the Zagg's, they are tough, but too sticky for me. I use them on non touch screens.
That's all your fault really. (Except the one wipe.) I messed up while installing mine just as you described, so I took it off, rinsed it under some water and cleared a small piece of dust that attached to it. I put it back on, took my credit card to it to clear bubbles, wiped it dry and shiny. Tough luck!

I'm sorry, but, I don't see how that is their fault either? You think the company should supply an endless amount until you finally get on installed perfectly?
If they mailed out replacements for free then the pricing would increase even higher. Thus leading to people who can follow instructions to have to pay for the people who cannot. Sounds like you are socialist. Go post this on a socialist forum.

I had one of the Halo screen protectors on my EVO 4G. No issues with it whatsoever and was a quarter of the price. The lackluster customer service is the only thing that irked me in the whole process. I have no issue stomaching a $13 loss, I just expect better customer service. The CSR's name was Nina, and was not helpful at all!

What did you want their CSR to do for you? You said it yourself they were willing to give you another one for $3. That is 75% off the original price. If that is not good customer service, I don't know what is.
If the item had been defective, then I'd expect them to send you some for free. But that clearly is not the case. The product is fine, the instructions are clear, and they even offer you video instructions on their website.
Sounds to me like the only thing that would make you happy is if they gave you another set for free. That is a wrong way to look at it since the reason the product failed is your inability to apply it correctly.
For those who are interested in buying these, today only you can get some good savings.
Code "clear630" takes 10% off. (this code expires today!)
Code "clarivue1210" takes 10% off. (expires December 10, 2011)
Additionally, buying 3 products takes another 10% off. If you are concerned with the OP's post, they have a package of additional wipes for $9.99 (15 wipes):
http://www.clarivue.com/pre-moistened-cleaning-tissue-pack.html
I ended up paying $10.39 for a pack of two ultra clears for my 3D. I thought about getting 3 packs which would have been $27 or so, but didn't deem it necessary. I have heard very positive reviews for these protectors... we'll see how they go when I get them in a few days.
Clarivue is now offering 25% off over the Holiday weekend(7/1-7/4). 10% code "clarivue1210" cannot be stacked with this 25% but the buy 3 or more product 10% promo does stack for a total of 35% off!
IMO, processing time is slow for something you can just stick in an envelope. I ordered Friday 6/24 at 1pm and received a USPS tracking # immediately but the post office didn't receive the package until Wednesday 6/29 at 11pm. It's supposed to be delivered today, a full week later. It took 3.5 business days for Clarivue to process and only 2 business days for USPS to ship, from west to east coast!
Oh well, tpu case and gorilla glass means my evo 3d to still in perfect condition. I might not even need the screen protector now! But the other 2 evo's on my account are not as careful with their phones as I am so they'll need the protectors.
Per these reviews, I just ordered the Clarivue Ultra Clear protectors. Awesome 25% slae - $9.73 total for a pack - win!
Looking forward to giving them a test drive.
Yeah they seem to be pretty good quality. I ordered mine on 6/22 and didn't receive them until 6/29. I also ordered the one from Seidio, but since it got here first, I put it on my phone. Now I have the Clarivue laying around as backup in case something happens to my Seidio. Just ordered Clarivue for my girlfriend's new iPhone 4 though!

25% off plus an additional 10% off doesn't equal 35% off, it's 32.5% off.
I had the seidio for my evo4g. I'm in construction and it lasted a year! For me that's good. Sand, drywall dust, concrete. Very small scratches but well worth it. Says its hardness is 3h. Who else says that? No one.
enjoying my EVO 3D. But root would be nice.
In my opinion, Screen Guard are the best screen protectors, in terms of ease of application, clarity and smoothness. At this price, you can't beat it too. Here is a link to eBay where I ordered them from. Very pleased with the quality!

Thanks, purchased.
I have always used Clarivue on my CPs because of ease of installation. Its not bullet-proof but it does the job.
I'd rather get the scratch on the Clarivue than on the touchscreen.
Guys, I need help. I've bought a used RAZR HD a month and a half ago and it was in a very good condition. 9/10, maybe even 9.5. had just a scratch or two on the rim around the screen.
Since then, I've dropped it onto concrete two times and on both occasions in went corner down, so now I've got two completely wrecked corners. Nothing else is broken, it's all fine, the kevlar back is pretty much mint, the screen is great, it's just that rim that is now completely ruining the look of the phone...
Did anyone face the same problem and what have you done to fix it, if anything? The only idea I've got now is to sand down the rim to be at level with the screen, that would possibly make it look good again. Naturally, I'd be very careful as to not scratch the screen...
Can that rim be replaced anyway? I'll check out the disassembly guides and videos now to see whether it goes together with the screen...
I'm so annoyed right now. The second drop happened minutes ago... God flipping damn it. The problem is that Moto's have not been widely used here in Serbia for years now and that makes the availability of any equipment for them more than scarce. I'll be ordering a universal case right now (the one in which you slide the phone in and out) but I'd still love to make it look good again.
Flipping damn it
*edit*
According to this video... It's glued very very strongly together - http://youtu.be/LfAyttf6fWU
That's just great... And I can't even find a silicon case, be it no name or branded, to cover it all up. Will see if I can order anything from across the border.

Was this with a case on the phone or with the phone not in a case? Just curious as I have my phone in a case and have dropped it on the corner and no issue like you describe. In fact, no scratches at all.

This would be it, right - http://youtu.be/Eg5qkRCm5pU ? But, doesn't it turn what is already a quite a big phone into a massive one? Because it certainly seems so I'm guessing this cannot fit a pocket of any sort of pants? But it does seem to offer outstanding protection. Alas, at what a price, both functionality and monetary-wise (the price is $40+ on amazon?)... But even if I wanted to spend that amount of money on a case, I'd have to keep my fingers crossed for probably no less than a month, hoping that it will eventually arrive, intact and without many additional fees. Third world problems...
Thanks for the advice, anyway! I might pick up the Commuter edition, it seems more reasonable for my needs

yes thats it, im in construction so i went with defender, my sister has commuter and it seems to offer a level of protection for most peoples uses (2-3 foot drops) and yes it does make the phone bigger so if thats a concern i would go with commuter, also the screen protector on the defender is part of the case but with the commuter its a stick on screen protector if that matters to you( i can never get those to go on without wrinkles) i beleieve the 40 $ ones are the black ones bc otterbox stopped making them i bought a black one for 20$ 6 months ago

Here's what I have (well, it's the same style but mine is a Body Glove that I purchased from Walmart but I cannot find it anywhere online):
http://www.amazon.com/Diztronic-Mat...9233999&sr=8-2&keywords=motorola+razr+hd+case
It's worked well so far. I've dropped my phone a couple of times, once face down and maybe two times on the side and/or corner, and my phone has been protected.
Overall, it adds a little bulk, but nothing like an Otterbox. I can put this into my pants pockets without much issue.

This is very much like the generic cases available here for most smartphones, priced at $2-3. Would you say that your case has a premium quality and is worth the higher price? Because I've found those generic ones available together with free shipping on eBay. But I know how lousy their protection and appearance are, so I'm still weighing my options.

Again, that is not exactly the case I have, but I purchased it at a Walmat department store for about $14.
It feels rubbery and it's flexible when the phone is not in it. Mine says "Body Glove" on it but I cannot find it on their site (they don't list any cases for the Droid RAZR HD).
Overall, I wouldn't say it's premium quality (not like I had with my Otterbox cases for my OG RAZR MAXX that I used to own), but it does seem to do the job for me. As I said, I've dropped the phone face down with the case I have (which is similar to the one I linked to on Amazon) and the phone came out unscathed. It was about a three foot drop onto the concrete floor in my garage if that gives any indication.

Another vote to the Diztronic - it would cover that damage and will prevent the same type of damage when you drop it again. Mine has lived in one of these since I got it and gets tossed around all the time. Has landed face first a few times and has not skipped a beat thanks to the raised lip.

Thanks, mate. The Diztronic looks wonderful compared to the chinese "s-line" thing I bought because of free shipping... It's just crap and it doesn't even cover the edges properly - the left one is fine, but it cannot stay on top of the right one. Check the picture for illustration. I'll be sure to get the Diztronic one in the future. Can you just tell me whether its rubberised or is it just the matte finish making it look as if though it were? Because it looks like it is and that it's insanely sticky and that I wouldn't be able to stick it in my pocket, but I guess it's just the matte finish
Nooooo!!!!
I have only had my phone for 2 weeks and I was sitting outside of Starbucks with my phone on my lap, and this yellow jacket bee kept flying around me. So I stood up to get away from it, while forgetting my phone was on my lap. CRASH! My V30 without a case falls off my lap about 20 inches down onto the cement.
It caused a small spider web crack in the corner of the back glass. One of then cracks extends to the camera lens area. On thr bright side the screen is fine and the camera lens is fine with no cracks. Plus its only mostly the corner thats cracked on the back. But still, it really really sucks since I just got this phone.
I know some of you are thinking I was stupid for not having a case. Maybe so, but keep in mind I pretty much never had cases on my 6P or my S7 Edge. I only dropped my 6P once real bad on a hard surface (fell out of pants with a smaller pocket while sitting) which only left a scuff on the edge with the display fine, and never once dropped my S7 on a hard surface in over a year with it. So I have always been super careful with my phones. Never dropping my phone in years that was a result of my clumsiness or carless.
I guess its just a matter of time though no matter how careful you are handling your phone. Its bound to fall somehow when its not your fault. Like sliding off a slippery surface, falling out of a small pocket, or similar. Anyways I called a local phone repair shop and the good news is the back glass is only $70-$75.
I don't think I am going to get it done just yet since the display is fine, camera lens is fine, and its only the corner of the back. But I probably will eventually before I resell the phone in 1-2 years. Anyways kind of disappointed a military certified phone cracked for such short fall. This is why I prefer metal backed phones so much more. Anyways hopefully this info of how easy it cracks and the cost to replace the back out there being pretty cheap helps some others out there.
*Puts case back on my V30*
Yeah, I watched a couple of videos on what happens to GG 4 & 5 with drop tests and decided mine would stay in a case. Added bonus of keeping finger prints off of the actual phone back and just on a plastic case.
I have several cases I've bought to put on my LG V30 when I actually buy the phone. You can buy very good cases for even a couple of dollars on ebay. I started the LG V30 cases thread, because most people don't know that.
You can even buy clear cases if you still want to show off the phone.

Yeah I already have a case, I just didn't have it on because I don't really like having one. I got it on now though. Ita a slim fitting case by Lumion. I never heard of this case company before but I really like it. I'm probably going to give the Spigen Crystal case a try too.

I'm very sorry for your accident. Ugh.
At least you know it can be repaired easily.
If the glass is still smooth, you can always put a skin over it.
This is one concern causing me pause in my purchase. Why there can't be a nice carbon fiber replacement back for this phone, I don't know. Motorola had a good idea going with the "design your own phone" during the Droid Turbo / Turbo 2 days, they just gave up on it too early.

That's the beauty of carbon fiber composites. The resin it's molded in is waterproof, gluing is about the only way to attach it to anything, it can be built up as thick as needed to create a reliable sealing edge or stiffness to the back. And it's radio transparent, so no issue with wireless charging. It can be textured, to make it more grippy.
The ccf aesthetic isn't for everyone, I get that, but it would be great as an option, and would be completely workable.
That is a bummer that it cracked. I am super impressed by the strength of this device though, my embarrassing story about it. Bought a new TV for my living room, decided I needed to take my old TV down to the basement and thought I could wrangle the 60" TV by myself, took two steps down and slipped, fell super hard all the way down the stairs with my phone in my back pocket. Huge bruises on my back, butt, arm and legs, the phone I was positive was a goner. Took it out of the case and to my amazement not a scratch and the glass looks perfect, however there is a size-able dent on one side of the phone and it is pushing the screen out. Everything works perfect and like I said, it did not crack at all, I am not a small guy, between me and the TV it took a 300 lb hit on the edge of a step and then several more hits down the stairs.
Of course I went to T-Mobile and they laughed and said "We can't take a bent phone back" luckily I am still in the 14 days grace period and will be adding insurance so I can get a replacement. It works, but is a little annoying to use this way. And to end the story on a high note, I did save the TV, did not let go of it!

A quick and healthy recovery!
My wife had dropped her v30 TWICE already in a week... Both times it luckily hit a corner and no glass cracked or scratched. Just a scuff on the metal of each bottom corner. So damn lucky with that so far... her case finally showed up the day after the second drop.

Whyyyy couldn't have mine done that?!
Actually I think the sides of this phone are super reinforced. Way more than more glass phones. I think mine just fell at the absolute worst angle that hit it just right. Just thankfully it was not the display!

Thanks! I also found the glass back is on Ebay for only about $18 and comes with the little tool to replace it. So I might just do that myself. I watched a video of how to take the back off.
I only have 2 worries if I do it myself.
1.) Making sure the new glass back seals on tight enough still be at least mostly water proof and
2.) Removing the finger print sensor from the old back to the new back. The video I watched doesnt show how to remove the finger print sensor. But once I find a video on someone removing and reattaching the finger print sensor, then I will pull the trigger for the $18 glass back.
So much for military certified durability  :crying:
Also you'll lose the ip68 rating by replacing that yourself most lowly just a heads up. Watch the video of Jerry rig everything. When he made a clear v30. Really good on how to open phone
Happened to one of the phones on my account. Fell about 3 feet on a wood floor and the back has a hairline crack. I'll skin it, put it in a case and be done with it.

That's quite a story! That should be in a V30 durability ad. Opening shot of the big dent and bulged screen with the phone speaking in "android voice" saying, "yeah, I took quite a beating, but you should see the other guy!" Then a fade in shot of you looking all sheepish and bruised from head to toe with a final fade out slow-mo reenactment of the fateful tussle.
