Definitely not worth the $12.99 price tag. Better to go for something much cheaper.
I recently purchased this product after a recommendation through the XDA EVO 3D forum. I patiently waited for the product to arrive and upon arrival I noticed two screen protectors but only one LCD wet tissue. It didn't bother me at the time because I figured I would never have a need for the other one. I placed the first screen protector on my phone, and had trouble getting it to fit properly on the phone. I eventually got it on, albeit not straight, but there was this long bubble on the edge of the protector with no dust underneath it. I thought it would eventually go away.
A little more than 24 hours after use, I woke up and noticed a hairline scratch/line that was only on the screen protector. I lifted it up with tape, and ran tape under it but the issue still remained. It was not on my phone as I flipped from bottom to top, and the problem was still there. I thought how useful it was to have a second one, but had an issue since there was no other LCD tissue.
Needless to say after 24 hours of receiving your product, my phone now has no screen protector. I am very disappointed thus far with the product, as it is 2-10X the price of other screen protectors. I had no problem paying the price because I had this sense that this was a quality product.
I contacted their customer service, and their only reply was just a standard copy and paste reply that it's not their fault, and they would send another for $3. They actually expect me to pay more money for their overpriced product. I'm pretty sure these screen protectors aren't even worth that much.
TLDR; Don't buy Clarivue Screen protectors. Opt for the cheap ones. They also have horrible customer service.

I am using the clarvue and had no issues. Nor did I use the wet wipe to clean it. I simply used a paper towel and some rubbing alcohol to clean the screen then followed up with a microfiber towel to wipe away any dust particles. Went on easy and any bubbles were easily removed by applying some pressure to the screenguard with a papertowel and pressing toward the nearest side.
These are very high quality and easy to apply. My opinion is your problems were due to user error. No reason to bash a company about their product because you didn't know how to properly apply it.
People always ask what kind of screen protector I have. Clarivue rocks!
I have stuck Seidio for all of my EVO and now 3VO needs and you cant go wrong, thier crystle clear screen protectors are thin protect really well and they don't cost that much. 9.99 on Seidio.com
I ended up with a hairline scratch on mine also after a day or 2. I can say that I will not be getting another. My Zagg on my 4g held up forever and I am rough on my phones. I think I'll get another of those.

I have the clarivue, I got it on without any bubbles... you put it on while you're taking the backing off.... the backing is folded between the screen and the cover.... it goes on smoothly, so long as the screen is clean.
As fr the Zagg's, they are tough, but too sticky for me. I use them on non touch screens.
That's all your fault really. (Except the one wipe.) I messed up while installing mine just as you described, so I took it off, rinsed it under some water and cleared a small piece of dust that attached to it. I put it back on, took my credit card to it to clear bubbles, wiped it dry and shiny. Tough luck!

I'm sorry, but, I don't see how that is their fault either? You think the company should supply an endless amount until you finally get on installed perfectly?
If they mailed out replacements for free then the pricing would increase even higher. Thus leading to people who can follow instructions to have to pay for the people who cannot. Sounds like you are socialist. Go post this on a socialist forum.

I had one of the Halo screen protectors on my EVO 4G. No issues with it whatsoever and was a quarter of the price. The lackluster customer service is the only thing that irked me in the whole process. I have no issue stomaching a $13 loss, I just expect better customer service. The CSR's name was Nina, and was not helpful at all!

What did you want their CSR to do for you? You said it yourself they were willing to give you another one for $3. That is 75% off the original price. If that is not good customer service, I don't know what is.
If the item had been defective, then I'd expect them to send you some for free. But that clearly is not the case. The product is fine, the instructions are clear, and they even offer you video instructions on their website.
Sounds to me like the only thing that would make you happy is if they gave you another set for free. That is a wrong way to look at it since the reason the product failed is your inability to apply it correctly.
For those who are interested in buying these, today only you can get some good savings.
Code "clear630" takes 10% off. (this code expires today!)
Code "clarivue1210" takes 10% off. (expires December 10, 2011)
Additionally, buying 3 products takes another 10% off. If you are concerned with the OP's post, they have a package of additional wipes for $9.99 (15 wipes):
http://www.clarivue.com/pre-moistened-cleaning-tissue-pack.html
I ended up paying $10.39 for a pack of two ultra clears for my 3D. I thought about getting 3 packs which would have been $27 or so, but didn't deem it necessary. I have heard very positive reviews for these protectors... we'll see how they go when I get them in a few days.
Clarivue is now offering 25% off over the Holiday weekend(7/1-7/4). 10% code "clarivue1210" cannot be stacked with this 25% but the buy 3 or more product 10% promo does stack for a total of 35% off!
IMO, processing time is slow for something you can just stick in an envelope. I ordered Friday 6/24 at 1pm and received a USPS tracking # immediately but the post office didn't receive the package until Wednesday 6/29 at 11pm. It's supposed to be delivered today, a full week later. It took 3.5 business days for Clarivue to process and only 2 business days for USPS to ship, from west to east coast!
Oh well, tpu case and gorilla glass means my evo 3d to still in perfect condition. I might not even need the screen protector now! But the other 2 evo's on my account are not as careful with their phones as I am so they'll need the protectors.
Per these reviews, I just ordered the Clarivue Ultra Clear protectors. Awesome 25% slae - $9.73 total for a pack - win!
Looking forward to giving them a test drive.
Yeah they seem to be pretty good quality. I ordered mine on 6/22 and didn't receive them until 6/29. I also ordered the one from Seidio, but since it got here first, I put it on my phone. Now I have the Clarivue laying around as backup in case something happens to my Seidio. Just ordered Clarivue for my girlfriend's new iPhone 4 though!

25% off plus an additional 10% off doesn't equal 35% off, it's 32.5% off.
I had the seidio for my evo4g. I'm in construction and it lasted a year! For me that's good. Sand, drywall dust, concrete. Very small scratches but well worth it. Says its hardness is 3h. Who else says that? No one.
enjoying my EVO 3D. But root would be nice.
In my opinion, Screen Guard are the best screen protectors, in terms of ease of application, clarity and smoothness. At this price, you can't beat it too. Here is a link to eBay where I ordered them from. Very pleased with the quality!

Thanks, purchased.
I have always used Clarivue on my CPs because of ease of installation. Its not bullet-proof but it does the job.
I'd rather get the scratch on the Clarivue than on the touchscreen.

The ZAGG Invisible Shield seems to be very durable. I have a friend that has had one on his iphone for over a year and it hasn't started to peel. He puts it in his pocket, no carry case, so it's had quite a hard life. It doesn't seem to adversely affect the touchscreen operation either.
EDIT: Not sure if it is available in the UK.
sounds like what i need, hopefully it is available in the UK and for a good price!!
Cheers
I just picked up :

This is the same material as the ZAGG brand as it hasn't been patented, and there are a few companies that sell it without the markup.
The seller is an actual website that sells at retail prices, but their eBay pricing is always heavily discounted, I've used their protectors before and ZAGG's, and I can confirm they are the same in quality.
The slight difference I found is Clear Protector brand is easier on the fingers when sliding, I find the ZAGG brand is hard to slide your finger across the screen against its material.
EDIT: ignore the signature, as I haven't updated yet. =P
thanks for that, ill keep it in mind! i had the full body type like that on my nokia but it didnt feel light. Will deffo keep it in mind tho!!
Thanks

I can't vouch for the Clear Protector brand, but I will say that there is more friction with the ZAGG screen protector than without. It didn't take long to get used to and the protection is certainly worth it.
Lokosis, can you remove and reapply the Clear Protector like you can with the ZAGG?
A big +1 for the Clear Protector film.
I've had mine on since day #1 (I got my TP2 on release day last September). Not a scratch or defect yet... and I carry my phone EVERYWHERE.
The only down-side I see is that it has a bit of a rubbery feel to it when dirty. A wipe down with a microfiber cloth helps. A shop of Plexus, or Pledge once a month keeps things slippery.
IMO, if applied correctly, the screen protector will last the usage life of the device (3 yrs +/-), no problem.
ok i really need to sit down tonight and have a look at them all as i need one asap!
i think i may have fitted my mf one too close to the edge and thats why it got pulled off and dust goot in ect... but my screen is still like new under it! and i can get a twin pack for £12 or £13 posted and itll be here within a few days which would be good, but ill see how they compare to others ect...

ZAGG i been with zaggg for about a year and a half now and never been let down, 4 buck for replacement life time warranty. its was made to last i had a full body protection on my TP2 ever since i bought it from day one which was last year October, had to send my device back to tmobile because the touch screen died on me other then that i would have been with the same protection till this day. all i had to do was call zagg asked for a replacement, you dont even have to call it for a replacement you can do it right off the website now. But overall the case increase your grip, keep your phone from sliding across desktop(what a life saver) i never had a problem with sliding my finger across the screen, people don't notice it. idk how but they just don't notice it
So I got my 3VO a few days before launch, and of course there weren't any screen protectors available until launch. Ok, so I didn't look too hard since they were supposed to be in in a couple of days.
Gorilla Glass or not, my old EVO screen was all scratched up. So when it was replaced after I jumped in the pool with it, I was sure to put a screen protector on it this time. I can't do protective cases, they bug me. Screen protector is about all I can stand.
Anyway on my old EVO, I got one from my local Sprint store, and it was perfect. I had no complaints about it. So I was looking forward to them getting the ones in for the 3VO last Friday. The ones they got in were from Sprint. The one I had gotten previously was in a Orangish colored package and said "Professional Screen Guard" on it. The ones from Sprint were $5 more ($15), but it came with three instead of two, and I needed a protector, so I reluctantly shelled out the $15. What a mistake.
The guy at the store put it on. It was just in a generic rectangular shape (Professional Screen Guard one was cut out specifically for the EVO with cutouts for buttons, front camera, proximity sensor etc.). I left and through it back in my pocket without really checking it out much. By that evening, when I got around to playing with the phone, it was all scratched up. You would have thought it was in my pocket with a piece of sandpaper instead of being in my pocket alone like it was. I was very disappointed. I was at a party the next day and was showing people the phone, I had to tear it off because I was embarrassed how bad it looked.
I thought, I paid for these things I had better at least use them until I can find a good one, so I put another one on. I used the supplied bubble removing piece of cardboard and guess what. SCRATCHES everywhere again.
The Sprint employee used a credit card, and that is likely what scratched up the original one. I used the supplied piece of cardboard and it did the same thing.
My review: Sprint 3VO screen protectors JUNK! Do NOT buy.
If anyone comes across the ones that say Professional Screen Guard for the 3VO, please hit me up with a PM.

Yea, I think they should take note from clarivue. I have a nice non looking screen protector on. I feel guilty because my girls 3D has one of those ****ty sprint ones on, and Im the one who put it on for her, while mine looks Like it isn't there. But then again, she didn't want to order them online like I did. Guess the nicest thing I can do is order her some when i make my next order...

Bud, just return them. Same thing happened to me. I went through all three protectors in a day, and returned them the next day. You have thirty days. Say they were crap and you were unsatisfied.
I even keep the little black cloth...
I use the screen protector built into my defender case. But you should try zagg shields. They have a lifetime warranty and are very tough. Difficult to put on sometimes and they are sort of grippy when you're touching them also. Good either way though.

Zaggs are horrible IMO. It's like putting a clear fruit roll-up on your phone =p
Sprint branded screen protectors that were in my Sprint store were also generic rectangles that didn't even cover the whole screen. they are dooky... DO NOT BUY that crap. it won't last.
I used the Sprint screen protector but I used the anti-glare and it is flawless. Not sure what you got but I will check packaging and let you know

About 6 weeks ago I purchased the ZaggSafe protection plan as it seemed like a good deal and I did not have to worry about a monthly insurance fee. Low and be hold last night I dropped my phone and cracked the screen. Called to file a claim and they informed me that you must have the insurance for 2 months before they will honor a claim. So just a quick PSA if you plan on insuring your phone with Zagg do not break it for two months because they will not fix it. Now I am stuck with a cracked screen and half of the screen does not respond to touch for another 18 days before I can fix it.
Zagg in general to me has just been going downhill. I used to advertise their products all the time by word of mouth, especially when they were still called invisible shield.
It was an awesome product. But after going through numerous zagg sparqs with all of them failing and trying alternatives such as skinomi and best skins ever I only deal with them now for warranty replacements on existing skins.
They're the thickest and have the most orange peel of any of the wet apply skins. And they're double the price of any of their competitors. Then they decided to stamp their logo on their skins to top it off.
They got to big to quick and aren't as easy to deal with as a result.
I hate how they constantly spam your email with iDevice crap to. When I saw they were offering insurance I just had to shake my head.. they just need to try and be good at one thing instead.

I've had my Spigen tempered glass for about 3 weeks on this G3 and today it formed a number randomly on the side of the screen. It's not touching the outside (meaning it didn't break the seal) and there is absolutely no dust or dirt under it. The bubble wont go away and has gotten slightly bigger. I tried running a lot games to heat the phone up to see if it would re-adhere, however it would bit, I also tried pushing it down/our using a card and microfiber cloth. I've had many Spigen tempered glass when protectors before, but I haven't seen this issue pop up. It's unfortunate, and I really don't want to return it to amazon or exchange it and go through the hassle of another perfect installation. It should be noted that my phone did not over heat at all, I didn't drop it or do anything to cause this. It just showed up. Any ideas?
I'm looking at reviews on Amazon and it appears as if there are a few other ppl that are experiencing that bubble issue. It's probably a defective problem with the screen protector itself.
I'm experiencing the exact same problem with the iCarez tempered glass screen protector I installed less than two weeks ago. It started with a small separation on the left edge and is now halfway down the screen and it's about 1/8" wide. Nothing will make it stay down and it looks like crap.
What a complete waste of money these tempered glass screen protectors are. I ended up buying a couple different brands, I basically threw money away.. They all suffered different issues from separation to loss of touch screen sensitivity.. I ended up buying a 3 pack of cheap. 99 cent screen protectors and couldn't be happier with the results compared to the more expensive tempered glass ones.

Don't get me wrong I love Spigen screen protectors, I'm just disappointed in the quality lately.
Theses pictures didn't come out great the s5 can't focus to save its life...

Saying that you have used them on every device that you have owned isn't really saying much because they haven't even been out that long.........but good for you that they have worked well on everything thing that you have owned. Personally I think paying that much for a screen protector is a complete waste of money and I also feel the same about cases. Before you start telling me that you are getting them for 5 bucks, I am talking percentage wise.

Ive had them on 4-5 phones now which is a fair amount (this includes my wife's phones as well). There wear zero issues with them at all. I don't mind spending the money on it because it's my preference. Back KB topic I called amazon who is replacing it and I contacted Spigen to ask them again what the issue is with the adhesive on these lately.
Edit
Also I have used the glass t.r, t, and nano from Spigen if that makes a difference
Awesome. Sounds like you have it all figured out then. People buying 30$ and up screen protectors is great for the economy so keep on buying ?

They've been out for several years. I'd say that's a fair amount of time to become an established product. I've had them on about 20 to 30 devices. Ranging from smart phones, iPods, and tablets. And while you feel they aren't worth the money, which is fine your entitled to an opinion as is everyone, I disagree. I think that's it's not worth it to overlook a product which will save your screen in the unfortunate and unlikely event your phone takes a dive to the floor. For me, the 30 to 40 bucks for one of these is worth every penny and is not even close to the cost of replacing the phones screen. But that's just my opinion.
As far as the topic is concerned... I hope Amazon gets it all sorted for you. They are usually pretty good about these things.

40$ each on 30 devices as you say...that's 1200$ for freaking screen protectors! So over the course of 3 years average over 30$ a month on screen protectors alone....your screen protectors cost more than my home WiFi each month. Good for you!!!!!

Average cost for one is 25. 20 to 30 devices most likely being closer to 20, but I could go count if you'd like. And of course "my devices" would include the 5 members of my family. So in terms of math let's say
$25 × 20 devices = $500
$500 ÷ 5 people = $100 per person
$100/person ÷ 4 or 5 years = $20/$25 a year
$20/$25 ÷ 12 months = $1.66/$2.08
Obviously not every one is the same price, but if I get them from Mime USA as I usually do it's $27 for their most expensive protector. But a couple bucks a month is nothing when we are talking about devices that cost anywhere from 500 to 900 bucks each depending on brand, memory, etc...
Again, as I said before, it's all preference/opinion. You have yours, which I respect and didn't attempt to call you out on or make it to seem ridicoulous now I only ask the courtesy of you doing the same. Sound reasonable bud?

Average cost for one is 25. 20 to 30 devices most likely being closer to 20, but I could go count if you'd like. And of course "my devices" would include the 5 members of my family. So in terms of math let's say
$25 × 20 devices = $500
$500 ÷ 5 people = $100 per person
$100/person ÷ 4 or 5 years = $20/$25 a year
$20/$25 ÷ 12 months = $1.66/$2.08

Reasonable? It was a predictable response because maybe it was eye opening for you. Sound reasonable bud? Good luck and please, keep buying those screen protectors.
Let's get back on topic this isn't a OP about is x,y and z's opinion on whether or not it's worth the cost.
No issues with my spigen glass after three weeks
Transmission sent from my LG G3.
I've had a bubble since day one. I want to get another one but can't justify spending £25 on it. Pretty disappointed.
I have the Spigen Glastr Nano Slim glass and absolutely love it! This is coming from a guy that has hated screen protectors till now. Hated glass n the past cause they were kinda thick, and u could easily feel the edge. This one has rounded (chamfered) edges. Also has a fingerprint resistant coating that actually works! My finger glides across it easier than the stock screen. Mostly its invisible. No one can tell its there, I have to point it out. And its designed to fit perfectly with the Slim Armor case. No bubbles of flaws at all. I highly recommend it!!!!
Just installed mine today. It's great, and will protect it from falls a lot better than a plastic protector (my main concern), and won't get scratched as easily. Also, it feels much nicer - your fingers really glide across it.
To the OP, did you move the protector after it touched the phone or did you get it right the first time?
I used to use these on my old 1+1 as they often have them on offer which makes them one of the cheapest and decent protectors.
Had a 90% off code (Take90) through today so thought I'd have a look if they have anything for the 1+5.
They only have a plastic film protector for the 1+5 showing in their site.

However when selecting that a Spartan glass option comes up at 29.99 (buy 2 with the code to work comes in at $6) the pair, which again is incredibly cheap.
I haven't ordered one yet to see if it's real or just a website error (shipping to the UK takes weeks and costs more than the protectors).
Wondering if anyone else has tried it stateside?
I may order them anyway, I seem to be amassing a collection of bits of sticky edged glass, so another one won't hurt.
I've ordered one. For a tenner I'll risk it. These used to be really good. Had one for my one plus one.

Yeah I went for it as well.
Will see when they turn up.
If no good, it'll go with my collection..

Taken the plunge too, will see how they fit, still looking for that perfect glass, thinking I will end up with just a decent TGSP and use my Fitbag for protection in pockets.

I've got a couple of these on order, although right now I'm fairly happy with my Nilkin/Otterbox combo gave up on the full 3.5D coverage ones, first one arrived broken, second one had debris already on the adhesive before lifting from the plastic.
Well mine has turned up today.
Compete utter sh#te..
It's about 3mm narrower than the screen (not the bezels the actual visible screen)
There's no borders but there's obviously the original screen exposed on the sides
I'm going to demand a refund.
Sorry if anyone else ordered one based on this thread. Very disappointed
Might be able to see the edge and how much is exposed on the right here.
Not the best quality photo, taken with my shield tablet..

Look like a similar cover to the Nilkin tbh. I'm happy with that as a solution, compared to the dark borders. The Otterbox case I use offers enough protection to the very outer edges due to the depth and my most likely damage would come from a more central hit/scratch.
I've received mine today and the result is similar I'm afraid.
I'll leave it on for a day or two but I reckon it'll come off since it doesn't cover the screen properly.
I really don't understand why it's this hard to make a screen protector that fits properly. Maybe OnePlus just gave the wrong measurements to all the OEMs?
In any case...
Pixel 2 out soon. Maybe that'll be an option.

XtremeGuard always sells complete and utter sh*t. Any company that has 90% sales once a month is lying to its customers and does not deserve my business.

Put mine on today after receiving yesterday.
Worst protector ever! Huge halo and cuts off a portion of screen like the million. Do not buy! I've already asked for refund.

So I wanted to get one but I don't have a credit card and shipping is 8 dollars!
You have to buy two products in order to get the code "Take90" to work
Same as Nilkin with an extra cutout for the ffc and proximity sensor. It's probably one of the best tgsp right now, full coverage units are currently all worse than this.
