As I promised, I'm now going to release the O2 version of the ROM for Atom Life. The OS version of this ROM is 5.2.1616 (Build 19974.1.2.8). The XIP is taken out from Xda Atom Life WM6 WWE_RC2140907B2 and the SYS is dumped out directly from the latest ROM of HTC Touch 3G.
Here is a little bit of information of this ROM:
- Windows Media Player 10 Mobile for Pocket PC Version 10.3 Build 19974
- Esmertec Jbed 20080610.2.1
- Adobe Reader LE 2.5.1.0.354273.01(from HTC Touch Viva's ROM).
- The wince.nls is replaced with the one from the official ENG V2.05.96 ROM for MWg Atom V.
Known issues(Haven't been solved):
- The camera and O2 AutoInstaller may not work. Maybe it is related to different ExtROM.
- The server of O2 for O2 Connect has closed, therefore the O2 Connect is just a rubbish... But I haven't removed it yet.
- No time zone and clock settings after aligning screen after hard-reset.
- The default setting of Beam is "disable".
I just mixed the resources together and did some little fixings, So it may still have some unknown issues. Please report to me if this ROM have any problem.
Remember, I'm still only a beginning-level cook. Please don't just leave swearing posts if there is something wrong... Thanks.

I dunno, as I didn't use TranMinhMan's latest ROM. The only thing I can tell is, this ROM is as stable as the official ROMs...

Well, from my experience, the stability of the official ROM isn't a big deal. And moreover, their TCP/IP stack is really poor. In the newer OS versions, e. g. those in ROMs by T2M, it is much better.

but there is around 18M free memory after startup and the camera did not work. how can I use the camera?

I agree that the SMS Delivery Report Notification is very useful, but I just wanna keep my ROMs "cleaned"... So I wouldn't add this program into my ROM. But I'll release my kitchen soon so that you can add that into your ROMs yourself.

KNOWN BUG: Internet Sharing application is not working. WM5 AKU3.X no longer supports modem link.
For those of you who have downloaded and flashed using SD Card method who ended up in a brick! ITEX recovers his Atom by following procedure:
1. remove SD Card
2. remove battery
3. hold camera button and reset (stylus) button
4. replace battery while still holding the buttons
This will bring you back to bootloader mode. Just flash the above DSUU.

you dont need the modded rom, simply extract (execute DSUU Xda-Atom-Exec-ENG-20060721-MOT0822) (or which ever Atom Exec rom you have) the files from win/temp then store these files. Execute the Atom rom (Xda-Atom-ENG-20060426-MOT0822) (or which ever Atom rom you have) then overwrite the temp files with the previous files you saved, click next then once finished put the Atom into bootloader mode and run the Atom rom Xda-Atom-ENG-20060426-MOT0822 again, wahla! If that doesnt work try doing it the oposite way around if that makes sense, good luck.

o2 Plus over new ROM
Hi guys,
I had installed the new ROM last night and it seems to work fine.
However, when installing O2 Plus, I realized that I cannot add to the shortcuts tab a programs that resides inside the new directories.
The programs list lists me only subset of programs to add.
Any advices ?

after pulling the battery and turning on.. all i see is a orange star with NHT atoms and there it remains stuck... nothing happens after that...

Go for a hard reset one more time .. if nothing works.. flash original ATOM ROM.
Contact sync fails
I too faced this problem. I am running Vista Home Premium and my Windows Mobile Device Center fails to sync my contacts with my Atom. I also use Ultrasoft Money, which happily syncs with Microsoft Money using the same Center.
It is really a pity since this is a superb ROM with lots of spare memory and useful software!
Try and fix it please.

I didn't checked activesync when I wrote the comment.
My ActiveSync doesn't work also.
This ROM has ActiveSync problem and some of my Applications/Games also fails to run. I think its mostly .NET Framework or SQLCE problem.
I suggest all not to use it.
The ROM was really great but these problems are very disappointing.

Sorry for all of inconvenience that you have with this rom.
About AS, it worked with me as always. Pls make sure that you use the newest AS 4.5.
GPRS will work after you run Network wizard in start menu\ settings\connection
There will be Version 6.1.0.4 with IR fixed soon. Pls wait and test !!!!

i am using Cloudyfas latest ROM build 19213 and very much stable and satisfied with it.
sir, ive already tested that rom..it works for me for about two weeks..but ive noticed the bugs..the communications manager for activating the incoming beams are not working so you should activate it via settings menu..one more thing is, i can send file via bluetooth and infrared, but i wasnt able receive..
ive tested cloudyfa's 19701 rom, its working but the same problem..cnt receive from infrared but can receive now using blutooth..

The S4V.19701.01 is for me the most stable and working room for now. The 19213 have some behaviours that the 19701 don´t have, so the 19701 is more stable.

IMHO, the radio ROMs are pretty much identical.. If anything, 2.19 is the most stable...
With ROM builds, the 19701 build was a beta, whereas 19213 was an official ROM, the 19213 is more stable and better...
Also, remember to HardSPL your device

In the "Prophet Mobile 6" forum, there is a sticky called "NEW WM6 Upgrade Guide". Follow that for HardSPL etc... I don't think there are 64 bit RUUs (although I may be wrong) and unless you have a G3, Vista probably won't work anyway...

For pure speed and a ultra clean rom. Try Micro V3. It is by far the most stable rom i have ever used. although i have yet to try cloudyfas' 19213 or 19701

Micro V3 also has the largest storage of any ROM I've seen!

yes, right~~
please be noted for V3:
1. without word suggestion feature while input (default keyboard)
2. default camera removed but coolcamera works very fine~
3. without Asian regional selection,
4. don't forget to disable the windows and popup animation for maximum speed,
5. very clean rom, you have to add all extra cabs you want,
...... enjoy anyway ~~ ^^

Yes, V3 is very fast and stable.
The only reason I can't use it is that it has no Internet Sharing.
Tried a few cabs with no success
Otherwise, it is a great ROM.

Cloudyfas latest ROM is probably as close as you will get!
the reason why i dont like the 19213 rom of cloudyfa is because of its bug regarding the non stop vibration...also, i encuntered that it cant reciv any files from bluetooth and infrared though i can send through it..i think 19701 is more stable..im using the clean version...i can reciv files from bluetooth but not in the infrared though, i can stil send through it..

I think the IR issue is because the ROM is ported from a device without IR...
The OS version of this new ROM is 5.2.1622 (Build 19974.1.2.8). The XIP is taken out from MWG Atom Life WM6 ROM WWE_020108_B2_DS and the SYS is dumped out directly from the latest ROM of HTC Touch 3G.
This is my first CHT ROM. There are still some defects on the UI, therefore this ROM is actually still in beta. The last final version will be released at the end of November, please wait patiently.
The contents of this ROM are listed below:
- Windows Live for Windows Mobile has been updated from version 10.6.0034.0800 to version 10.6.0039.1300
- Esmertec Jbed is still build 20080610.2.1, and the UI language is still WWE(0409).
- Adobe Reader LE 2.5.1.0.354273.01(from HTC Touch Viva's ROM) has been changed into CHT(0404) version.
- Auto Configurator's UI language is still WWE(0409).
- Streaming Media's UI language is still WWE(0409).
- The wince.nls is replaced with the one from the official CHT V2.05.92 ROM for MWg Atom V.
Known issues:
- No time zone and clock settings after aligning screen after hard-reset.
- The Keylock program has no name in Settings -> System, and the UI language is still WWE(0409).
- The default setting of Beam is "disable".
Please report to me if this ROM have any problem.
Remember, I'm still only a beginning-level cook. Please don't just leave swearing posts if there is something wrong... Thanks.

This ROM has about 23MB free RAM after flashing... It may be not enough for some of you.
The next update of my ROMs will be in May after the public examination... If I can pick up the work properly(as I haven't done cooking for three months already).
i hope u will released with new rom and WWE.and i hope ram will be 29mb+ free bcoz i had 29mb+ free when using pdaviet rom.but pdaviet rom not very cleaned..

Try Bajoks ROMs they are fast. After flashing your ROM do the following:
1. Disable the touchflo in the home settings.
2. Tweek the Advance Config settings. Set the systrem cache size to AUTO.
Doing all of these will gain you more or less 20MB free RAM.
