For all of those who are now running SE thanks to dcs and others. Just download this little app, unzip it, run setup when connected via activesync and then add it to your start menu. Works like a charm and saves having to hard map a button to rotate your screen we are already limited to buttons as it is. I just put it at the top of my start menu and can use from any application of course. Thank you guys for all of your hard work.
not bad at all. but what i did was use phm plus; it gives you the short cut icons to the items in the settings folder (like bt, clock, input, etc). in this case i copied the "screen" shortcut and had it appear in the today screen using tdlaunch. just click on the icon and the option for landscape or portrait comes up.
cheers
thanks .. that was a very nice utility ..
Cool, another way is to assign it a hardware button, very easy t flip on the fly.

Hi ZeroXtreme!
If you'll to assign the RotateSE to a hardware button its slower than the default Rotate Screen because of the rotating circle.
I think creating a shotcut on the Today screen launcher program is still a better choice and it can also relieves one of the hardware buttons for other use.
Thnx
Works as intended...
thats weird :? ...
does'nt WM2003SE has a <Rotate Screen> at "Assign a program:" list in Buttons section ?! :?:
in my i-mate JAM i can rotate the screen between 'Portrait' and 'Landscape(right-handed)' by pressing "Record" button
i wonder if xda2 wm2003se has it or not, coz mine gone junk while i'm upgrading to chines rom SE

@NightmarE
Yes, it does have the hardware button assignment, the problem is that most of us have already used all the hardware buttons for other tasks, so a Start menu option is a nice solution...
I agree I have upgraded to the blue angel but having it in the start menu is much better than hardmapping it to a button, I posted the app for those who want a different option, if you want to waste a button on just rotation then be my guest but some of like myself don't use screen rotation that often then it is better in the start menu and not on a button that I need, considering I use alot of apps like Microsoft Voice Command.
It os better to have it in the Start Menu than in a Today Screen, if you are in the middle of a app it is easier to just open the Start Menu and rotate than go through settings->screen or close then today then back to the app...
I'm using SPB Pocket Plus and add "rotate screen to the right" to close/minimize dialog ... That's just how I do it. Free Up start menu slot for my other frequently used apps.
Right now I'm quite a happy XDA2 user
use PHM utility to add a shortcut of RotatSE in Task bar near by bluetooth icon it will be like i-mate Jam icon 8) ...
laters
I assinged one hardware button to flip the screenand made the flipting system easily and fast...
Works great on the Treo 700wx. Thanks!
Hi, is ROM version 1.66.00WWE a wm2003SE?
Just tried the software a while ago but it didn't work.
Is there a version of this working on wm2003? just found out that my phone is not wm2003SE version but a wm2003, software not compatible with wm2003. :c
Works ok, but...
Hi.
It works fine, but how I configure it to rotate to the other side (clockwise) ??
Thanks in advance,
Joe
Hi,
I am new to rom upgradation. I have a jamin and upgraded the os from WM5 to WM 6.1. I used the Shadow 2.0 TE rom and it works great. I am really grateful to Cloudyfa . But one short coming though the shadow cube which i installed after the Shadow 2.0 TE does not seem to work. After the installation the i got a new item called touch setting in the acessories folder but the touchflo was not there when i tried to map it with soft key.
I will be really obliged if someone can help on this.
Thanks
The touch cube can only be activated by 'swiping' the screen, or by making some contact with the screen. This is because biotouch.exe (the program behind it) is always on, and only activates the cube when the swiping movement is made.
Try moving your finger from the top to the bottom of the screen (or vice versa) and seeing what happens...

I actually tried moving my finger on top of the screen in all possible direction and touchflo does seem to work. I could see that the Biotouch.exe was running.
What could be wrong ???????????????????????????????????
check this out
i think you should upload and install the file I'll give you.It will work for sure, install - soft reset - move finger from up to down..
check my attachement.

Thanks dude. It is working fine.
Really appreciate it.
I downloaded A touchflo .cab and installed but nothing happened.
When i would try to launch it(from programs/touchflo) it would say that it was alrighty running
Any ideas
ok so touchflo is working in the sence of scrolling. But i dont see the main screen that displays big clock, and start menu.
maybe im mistaken on what that is. can someone help
Never played with touchflo, but for the big clock I think what you want is HTC home.
thanks thats main screen right
same thing happens to mine it says running but nothing happens how do i make it work?
try swiping your thumb from bottom to top on the touchscreen..
i just tried that but still nothing
Guys...
Touchflo is just the software to make the touchscreen touch-sensitive to scrolling like the HTC Touch. It is NOT HTC Home today plugin, HTC Cube, or any other software you may think it is. Therefore nothing will happen unless you're actually using software that allows you to scroll...i.e. PIE or a text editor or what have you.
For the clock and today screen plugin you want to get HTC Home.
For the cube you want either HTC Cube or Vistacube (there are others, but those are the main two)
If you install one of the cubes, it comes with Touchflo...so you can uninstall the Touchflo you've already installed and just install one of the cubes.
Thanks that helps me alot.
One more question.
Are those cubes complicated so set up ?
This is a little program I wrote to make our devices more gesture friendly. First If anyone wants to build on these mort scripts they are more than welcome to all I ask is give credit where credit is due
After you install the cab everything is in the my documents folder and at the moment it will not work in another folder but if this get popular then I might redue it for easy customization.
Directions:
First you have to go into your ftouchflo gesture settings and do as follows
Up-down: \My Documents\down.exe
Down-up: : \My Documents\up.exe
Left-right: : \My Documents\left.exe
Right-left: : \My Documents\right.exe
If you swipe your finger up the brightness will go up by one. Start from the bottom and swipe your finger to the middle of the screen. A little box should pop up and tell you what your new brightness level is. If you swipe your finger up and then swipe your finger from left to right the brightness with go to max. once its at max it will go back to what you had it if you do it again. For Brightness to go down you just do the opposite and for brightness to go all the way down just swipe your finger from top to the middle and then from right to the middle.
For the fun stuff:
If you just swipe your finger from left to right VJVJCandelaLite will come on to turn it off just hit ok or swipe your finger again.
If you swipe your finger from right to left the volume with go from mute to 100% or other way around
It gets better:
If you swipe your finger from bottom to middle then from right to middle it will link the audio to your BT headset to turn it off just do it again.
If you swipe your finger from top to middle then from left to middle you will activate wifi to turn it off just do it again.
NEED TO KNOW
Once you swipe your finger up or down you have 10sec to swipe your finger left or right after that it will go back to the default left and right app also in the cab I put the VJCandelaLite app in the my documents because I was not sure if everyone already has it.
I would have just provided a video but I did not feel you could see what was on the boxes popping up. I hope this is easy to understand if you don’t understand how this works I will post some kind of video. Hope everyone likes.

I have tried. But we all waits for the conifgurater
I see. I was only going to make that if it got popular. the way it is now i made it to suit my needs. and to be honest the conifgurater was going to be for stuff like the choosing the dir or switching around the gestures. but to make it do something different all together i would need to reprogram the scripts. But i will have lots of spare time over the summer since im not taking any classes so my goal is to get better at c# and learn how to program in win CE
Excellent work Irus. Just got a chance to try it and it fits my needs as well. Nice addon for the rom.

Very well done irus, I love it. A "configurator' will be nice though.
I'll play with it some more and give some feedback later. I wish I was more of a techie to come up with cool stuff like this myself myself
problem is the rom doesnt have ftouchflo. it has htc's touchflo.

Powel,
Does the HTC touchflo retain the audio feedback when the screen is touched? I could not live with ftouchflo because of the absence of audio feedback,so I had never been willing to use it.
Well so far I love the phone eventhough it feels kind of weak. But I have some few questions on upgrading, usually im good with searching but i guess not this time. So im looking for a way to make things more finger friendly like menus etc, making them able to scroll instead of using a sylus and if possible using T9 on when not using the keyboard. What do you all suggest?
I just got mine too... I have sprint so I started with the Sprint wm6.1 update.
So far I've installed:
s2u2 (slide to unlock)
htc home plugin (you want this)
s2p (audio player)
s2v (picture viewer)
oxios memory
Look at my thread in this section called sprint mogul must haves, alot of good stuff was suggested there
the gullum diamond keyboards are awesome. i use the diamond keypad for T9 while i'm driving. its awesome. link below:

Great! Now how can I make the start and stuff like that more finger friendly?
So I installed the home customizer and now the screen flip is not at the bottom anymore but in the customizer but when I use it in the customizer it turns the screen the wrong way. What do i do?
Nevermind I did a hard reset. One last thing is when the slider is open do all yours have a movement in the slider when you tap on the screen?
