Which is the official AT&T ROM that came with the FUZE - Touch Pro, Fuze ROM Development

I'm pretty sure my FUZE came with the ROM posted in this thread:
But it looks like that is slightly modified from the original ROM. Can someone tell me if that's the actual original ROM and if not, is it available somewhere?

Read The WIKI. It's really informative.
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=HTC_Raphael_WM6.1_ROMs Should be the last AT&T one with SPL 95. That's what mine had.

Cool, that's what I though. Thanks.

If you are looking to return it came with SPL 95 not 90
Just in case you need to return your FUZE, SPL 95 is not yet up here for download that I have seen. One of the members is going to try to put it up tomorrow. AT&T would not likely notice a flash to SPL 90 but I don't want to risk it. Take Care

Newbie to upgrading, could use some pointers.

I have a 8525 and would like to upgrade to the new WM6. Like the title states I'm new to this, so I ask you all what is the best rom version for WM6 and what is the easiest way to do it. Also what kind of complications could I be looking at. Thanks in advcance.
YOU HAVE TO READ THE WIKI.
Everything is there and nothing that anyone can post here in a few sentences will take away from knowing how not to brick your phone.
I am new as well, took the time to read the info, understand the workings and just today I flashed my phone for the third time.
WM6 Vanilla, then WMXL .20 came out and today WM6 LVSW came out which is although not the most fun ROM (tech-head wise) it is by far the most stable.

What is the reason there are no cooked ROMs?

I would like to know why there are no cooked ROMs for the star trek.
Is it purely not enough owners? Or is there some other reason?
I think I remember reading that HTC had some kind of protection against cooked ROMs? How come only in this phone?

At the moment, there is no way to bypass the SPL lock on this phone. SIM and SuperCID unlock are no problem, but to flash a modified ROM for this phone, like all others requires either a patched SPL (bootloader) or a completely modified SPL that ignores signautre authentication of the ROM.
Some of the forum members believe that an SPL mod is possible, but testing it comes at the expense of losing a phone (bricking it). We have half a dozen or so forum members willing to take the risk for the good of the cause, so we are waiting on the developers who think they can do it to roll out some trial plans.
Rest assured, once the SPL is patched or modified, this phone will get WM6 and cooked ROMs shortly thereafter. Stay tuned. . . . . . .
How come all of the other phones it is so quick on? Is this just one of the less popular ones? It has been out for quite a while! The Kaiser was all ready to go super fast! Well, it is good that it will soon be possible!
I am thinking of getting either a Cingular 2125 (HTC Typhoon, just a Tornado - WiFi) or a Cingular 3125, since I can get it them for cheap from Premier. Was wondering which to get!
Typhoon and Tornado already have WM6. You may want to look at those. I have a Typhoon and have it running Sp3Dev's WM6 with good success. I sometimes use this a back-up phone to my Dopod U1000.

Hmm actually the 2125 isn't a typhoon. I do not quite know what it is. Maybe just a tornado - wifi? Maybe it doesn't have its own codename since that is exactly what it is?

Cingular 2125 is listed as a variant of the HTC Tornado in the WIKI. - FYI

T-Mobile ROM on unlocked 8525 *FLAME SUIT ON*

Ok, I've searched this site/Google/and 2 other pocketpc forums but I'm running out of time...
My friend was kind enough to let me borrow and testdrive his 8525 that he doesn't use anymore. If I like it and can get it to work on T Mobile, I can buy it...if not, he'll take it back and sale it. Great deal huh?
I've got to make a decision by tomorrow, I've managed to
unlock the device
FINALLY flashed a radio version that seems to work (took 6 tries)
upgraded the ROM
Question: Is there a T Mobile ROM that I can flash that will give me the T Mobile apps/wallpaper/etc? If so PLS post the link. I've found different links that look possible, just nothing that's spelled out in plain English for a noob such as myself. Also, as far as enabling MMS/Picture Messaging, is it just a matter of replacing the AT&T connection settings with the T Mobile settings?
Sorry for the simple question, I'm just out of time.
WM5
ROM 2.15.502.3
Radio 1.47.00.10
Protocol 32.80.7020.20H
Ant T-Mob ROM that's not been adjusted or recooked should have all the T-Mob apps and settngs in, inc internet and wallpapers.
Just search the Hermes forum, thread titles only, for t-mob or t-mobile.
As far as enabling MMS etc, the new ROM will do that. If you want to do it seperately, there is a thread somewhere with cabs posted for just about every country and carrier. Was a while ago but a search'll find it.
Sorry I can't just provide the links but I don't use T-Mob.
These are official WM6 Tmo roms:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=337163
I've flashed the UK one, but skipped the tmo-customisation. Its running unbelievable fast!
thank you
thank you much!
I've searched with just about every form of "T-Mobile" I could think of...the results were just a bit confusing. I think searching thread title only would've helped. :-}
I also wasn't certain that the UK Tmo rom was universal as I'm located in the States, but I think you've answered the question. I'll give it a shot...
Check the sticky about HardSPL in this forum. That will alow you to flash any ROM.
THANK YOU!
Got it...did it...now I'm running WM6 T Mobile (from the UK link)
Just have to figure out how to fix the keyboard without having to mess with the registry (a little over my head), now, back to Searching...

looking for HTC Home to use on Hermes WM5 w/ default ATT 8525 Rom

I'm looking for a place to get the HTC Home pluggin to use on my ATT 8525 with the default stock rom. Any ideas?
Baring that, should I just bite the bullet and upgrade my device to one of the WM6 roms floating around the board?
You really should upgrade to wm6 cooked roms and to get the most out of htchome, etc.....
okay, ill look into that. there's a ton of questions i have to ask, but as ive not read into the wiki or the stickies about upgrading, ill sit on my hands for a while longer.
thanks
cool...just a fyi if u still want to try wm5 htchome. I saw a htc homeplug wm5 (which also includes n2a's very good weather fix) here:

Newest Rom for HTC HD2... but not sure!

So in the U.S. there was a Father's Day special that boasted ANY phone for free as long as a two year contract was signed. Deal did and I walk away with two free HTC HD2...s. Pretty cool, right? This official OS kinda stinks and I am VERY interested in switching to the totally sweet ROMs from the xda site here. And by totally, I mean really totally. But I am a little hesitant after reading some of the threads on this site.
Here goes the software/hardware... forgive me if the syntax is a bit off. Rum is the culprit.. or maybe just my douchebag self. Oh well, here goes....
OS 5.2.21892 (21892.5.0.89)
Manilla 2.5.20121462.2
ROM 2.13.531.1 (90963) 4-28-2010
Radio 2.10.50.26
Protocol 15.39.50.07... U or 4
RAM 576
SPL 2.10.0000 *G XE
??PB*1120
Anyway, my questions is...
Will I be able to switch SPL with this new version?... and switch back if something goes wrong?
I am just wondering because of the newer version of the software that is on the phone. It seems to be the latest and most of the threads only have STOCK ROMs that go back, well... way back. Where is the New Rom version that is on my phone?, on this site?
I have insurance, but I am sure that TMOBILE will check the phone out if sent back. Just trying to be sure.
TIA

As of your radio...you can find it on this forum, just search. There is a thread dedicated to several radios.
About your ROM...TMobile has the new ROM available for download on thier website. Or even HTC.com might have it.
And about Tmo checking your phone...it'll depend on the technician that handles your phone. Sometime they just send them to get refurbished with out checking them but don't quote me on this.
Legal mambo jambo: You will flash at your own risk and I will not take responsibility for any damage to your device or dignity
I seriously doubt T-Mob knows exactly what ROM version came on your phone. As long as you flash back to a T-Mob ROM and radio and relock the HSPL you should be good to go if you have to send it in for anything.

Your new to how to use a forum aren't you. Nothing like posting a question that makes no real sense in a thread that has nothing to do with the question being asked by the original poster.
