Anyone else having a non-responsive g-sensor on this rom? Opera and pictures wont switch to landscae with the keyboard shut and the device turned. On picture mode it works after waiting a solid 5-6 seconds after turning. Opera it doesnt work at all. I tried calibrating about 10 times with no result. Even gyrose2 (sp?) doesnt help, it helps when it is first turned on for about 10-15 seconds then it becomes non-responsive again.
please post under the ROMs thread so that the developer of the ROM can tweak and test it. Also you will receive feedback from others who use it sooner.

I noticed that after using this rom for a few days my phone doesn't auto-rotate... nor does the G-Sensor work at all.
I go into Settings>Display>Horizontal Calibration, and the ball doesn't move from the center of the circle no matter where I turn the phone... it just stays there... even after I press "Calibrate" and it says it's calibrated but nothing happens..
It's weird... this has never happened to me on any ROM and am hoping that it isn't broken... don't see how. I didn't install any mods I haven't installed before and it always worked (yes I deleted cache partition and delvik-cache).
Would anyone know why it might not be working at all? Like what is the service or whatever that controls the g sensor specifically?
I am running simply galaxy 2.7.2 xe. It was working before but then decided to stop... help is greatly appreciated.
I have the same exact problem on my HTC Touch Pro2 (ATT) with the Windows Mobile 6.5 ROM installed.
The g-sensor works fine after you first boot up, and then completely stops working at some random interval. After this occurs, trying to calibrate the sensor results in the two animated levels freezing after twitching a bit. This obviously does not fix the problem.
I even tried using sktools to restart the g-sensor driver. The driver will apparently stop, but will not restart.
Honestly, I wouldn't mind rebooting this damn thing every time but it also freezes for like 15 minutes after I restart it. If you hit the power button to put the phone to sleep right after booting up, it will remain asleep and not respond to anything for almost a half hour. Sometimes calling it will wake it up though... and then it freezes again when you put it to sleep if it's within 20 minutes of boot up. The service process (services.exe) and manila show high CPU usage during this time.
Also the notification manager does not start up automatically; its service needs to be started manually each time. Setting it to manual does not fix anything.

my xperia x10 is behaving wierdly. When i hit the power button to swith off the display, the display goes off but gets on again after a few seconds and keeps on doing this every 10-15 seconds.. i.e. it switches on automatically, remains on for 2-3 secs and goes off and gets switched on again after 10-15 secs. I have to finally reboot my phone to solve this...
And this happens randomly, not regularly.. and is currently showing the same behaviour as I'm typing this.. Pls help!!
Not rooted... 2010 model. running 2.3.3
Xperia X10 Display turns ON automatically.
Hi,
I am also facing the same problem. My Xperia X10 display turns ON automatically. It doesn't happen regularly, but happens frequently. I dont have any 3D applications, nor Screen Keep application nor any Auto Task killing application.
So please suggest me some remedy for it. Or should I go for Flashing the Phone. Right now I have 2.3.3 GingerBread.
I also dont know much about ROM and Kernal. So if solution has this ROM/Kernal involved, then please elaborate the solution.
Thank You Very Much in Advance.
Guys, please search before post!

hi all !
just a quick post for a few little questions i have, and havnt seen answer for in the forum. ive had my s3 for a little over 2 weeks, and have noticed a few minor issues which i havnt been able to fix,
firstly, i cannot work out how to get the address bar back on the browser, but only on the facebook mobile site, i have to scroll all the way to the top, where as other site the address bar remains there the whole time.
also i cannot save photos from the facebook site, but can other sites.
secondly , if the screen is off and i plug in the charger, the screen comes on and stays on, unless i press the power button, whereas with any other phone i have had, the screen just turns itself off after about 5 seconds. note this only happens when charging any othertime it turns itself off
edit : also wifi dropout on wpa/psk2 (bt home hub) wifif drops out, but comes back almost instantaniously, , have tried the powersave mode as suggested by others *0011# but to no avail,
and last but not least, i rooted my phone but unrooted it to update it, but it wont update comes up with some sort of signature verification failure, with OTA update, im going to try a usb update later though
thats about it for now, any help will be much appreciated
5 times in 5 minutes, or not for several hours. Tablet will not accept any touch or non-push button input. Press the sleep button and it goes black then comes back fine. Touch the home button, still no touch input after. Using preloaded software or playing downloaded games. Contacted Verizon and Samsung and their response is " remove all apps and use for 24 hours to see if it freezes" Really? 24 hours of Flipboard? just to be able to send it back for a week!
So SM-T807V
5.0.2
Often during Madden Mobile, but during other apps when Madden is not running at all.
Plenty of RAM plenty of storage, did 3 factory resets to try to resolve. Not rooted, no other alts on device.
I enabled dev mode and have several bug reports with the time stamp of the freeze noted. I propose it as a challenge to anyone who can read the bug reports to figure out what is causing the freeze! Happy to upload reports, please let me know if anyone has any idea how to fix/diagnose problem.
Thanks team!
OMG!
Me too, I have galaxy tap sm-t807v , it is also freezing time to time, I hope someone find a solution for this problem.
Hi!
I recieved my Note 2 today. After unboxing, I turned it on, did the starting settings (google account, wifi, etc). After that the phone went to sleep, and that's where the problems started. From that time the touchscreen and touch buttons didn't work correctly. It's like someone is pressing the buttons continuously and because of that the touchscreen can't work, or at least not in every area of the sreen.
Did a factory reset, didn't work... It's all the same, even during the initial setup.
Videos of the issue:
Forum won't let me post is, but I can send it in a private mail I guess...
Anyone had an issue like this before? Is it a software related bug (there is some beta version miui installed), or is the device defected?
Any help would be appreciated!
Edit:
The phone was turned off for the night. I turned it on this morning and I could open up the lockscreen with swiping up from the touch buttons. After that the phone worked for like 3 minutes, and then stopped working again.
