I trust this ROM is again the fastest and most stable BUT can someone please post more info about estimated battery drain compared to v13? I hope it's the same (I don't think it can be better than v13)

Well... A full harged battery wil last for close to 8 minutes...
100% - 8 minutes
X - 1 minute
X = 100/8
X = 12.5 %
i.e. Your battery will drain at a reson of 12.5 m-1
It means that if you want yor phone to be operative for a full work day, i.e. 8 h you will need to have 59 extra batteries.
He he he he. Just kidding
I charged my battery this morning and took it from charge, at 11.30, when it was at 74%. It's now 15.19 and i still have 47%.
Cheers.
I don't get these questions..... I mean,,, is it only i who plugs my phone in every night to charge ???
I charge only twice a week and only like 3 hours on USB (~75% charge), it just happened that my battery improved a lot, maybe because it got older, maybe the v13 ROM or Lumos, I'm not sure but I don't want to risk to ruin it by flashing this lol
V13
I have this rom almost 2 days now and I have to say that battery drains fast and that V13 is at least for now better than V14.
I will downgrade my touch pro again to V13.
Took the phone of the overnight charging at around 08:00 this morning, now it´s almost midnight and the charge is 71%.
I estimate that i have spoken about an hour or so spread over 18 calls.
No issue with drainage this far, im not to fond of the new action soft key but that's another story

hey,
I dont know for u guyz, but since I ve installed the last rom radio ...09.26, time left using battery is really short, and I use my Hero normally!
I tries with any 2.1 roms, but still got the same results. My phone is not that old, I think from January.
Got any comments??
Perform some tests, then replace the radio with an older version and reperform the same tests...If you get differences please let us know Even if flashing radio is a little bit more dangerous than flashing a rom/recovery...

Hi, i agree for wifi but for other things (idle/3G) the 09.26 seems better than 08 for me.
but did'tn treid wifi a lot with the 8 one.
Ciao
Fred
I haven't noticed much of a difference.
But the best was that i spent two weeks in germany, so roaming with t-mobile, and the battery life was increased a lot !!! impressive ! I did'nt do any 3G for sure and it was idle all the time almost, but i charged it twice in two weeks... in france i can't do it such long...
Very strange.. why can t-mobile have so different from orange ?
Ciao
Fred
I am on CM9 nightly and kernel that comes with it, latest updates always!
And yesterday I charged my SGS2 to 100% unplugged cable and at the morning when I checked it, it was dead! tried to go in download mode, it sayed battery level is too low! and really it drain 100% of battery in 8 hours idle!
Is it possible to fix such a issue?
Yes, by seeing what's using the battery, not by making a new thread with no useful information.

With the amount of battery threads that come up on this site it is surprising you haven't bumped into the routine of downloading betterbatterystats and seeing what is keeping your phone awake. You should also see if this happens on a fresh install with NONE of your apps installed. Completely stock with your contacts synced.
your issue sounds reasonable my device was awake on the 4/29 build, its best to talk about nightly builds in the discussion thread, charge it up and see whats keeping it awake
you wont get help without this

Cyanogen9 is still deep in beta, that means it isn't finished, that means if you have a problem it's because the ROM isn't perfect. Why would you make a forum post about this? It happened once, not even a few times, why the **** would you make a post about something that happened once and you have done nothing to get to the bottom of it? Seriously what.
There are many stable Custom ROM of Android 4.0.x that you can use instead of CM9 'Nightly Builds'....

isnt it weird that there are too many things that happen just once its not just this man anyhow wanted to post question exactly about this bug, dont want to bother you with other bugs

See this. While this isn't currently a "what's the best ROM" thread, the very nature of your question will result in the same debate those types of threads tend to generate.
Someone could really like a ROM and suggest it to you, and you try it, and you might decide it sucks. Try ROMs out yourself until you find one you like. Don't be lazy.

Missed that, did you?
I've made a new version of the 70°,75° and 80° thermal mods which I'm hoping will improve battery life without sacrificing performance at all. If you've been running any my original thermal mods and would like to test out the new versions and give me your feedback it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Rob
Just head on over to my original CTT thread to download it
Here's the link to the original thread. http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/development/thermal-mod-t2907363
Also I just added a new beta 3 version of the 75° mod here's the link

Looks that way. I've only been up since 1 when I woke up with the idea and started working on it I'm really hoping for some good results
Gonna try this!
Later though... planning on doing a total wipe and start from scratch.
It booted up no problem. First boot was no too long, a little less than flashing a ROM. I'm at 100% battery, going to see what happens throughout the day.
Suscribed to the thread !
So the purpose of this new release is battery saving ?

I know this was build for stock roms but I flashed it on cm12.1 and it seems to be working fine. Is there a reason it wouldn't work on cm12.1 or if I can check to see if it is working? Thanks
Perhaps it's just the excitement of the new mod, but I feel as though there is a reduction of heat being produced by the device. Has anyone else noticed this?
Got it installed. What specifically do you want feedback on?
I imagine I won't have a feel for the battery difference for a couple days. Anything else?

Testing on D851 LP.
Testing on D855 flashed over last 75 version
I just installed your new 70° mod on my vs985... Let you know how it goes... Thanks
-SD 4.0/SD 4.1 Kernel-
just installed on international D855.. i'll return in a few days
I also just installed on International D855 running ChupaChups 4.2 and will report back in a few days.

To check to see if it's working you can download 3c toolbox formally known as android tuner and under CPU you can see the temp and see if it throttles down at the correct temperature and I don't see any reason why it shouldn't work with cm12
Please let me know if it works and how well so I can post it in the op
Hi guys,
I'm coming from the Oneplus One and that phone used to charge at a speed of 2ma.
Using some apps, I've come to see that the Oneplus X charges only at 1.2ma tops for me.
Is there any kernel which supports 2ma charging? Thanks!
I don't see the charging speed a problem, considering that it's got a lesser capacity battery. Charging times are fast enough that you wouldn't notice any difference. Just keep it down and let it charge.
As for kernels, you could check the developments section
Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
I guess blu spark kernel has fast charging support... Look it up
Mine charge at 1500mAH
Max voltage which can go through is 1800mAh for our phone
0-60%--- Phone charges at 1500mAh(Rapid Charge)
60-90%--Phone charges at 1200mAh
90-100%- 300mAh (Trickle Charge)
This is the case in all phones .. take it nexus 5 ... xiaomi mi4.....One plus one

Bluspark kernel only supports usb fast charge i.e charging is fast when connect to pc or something like that not charger.

I understand why you would want to, but as i know bluspark doesnt "Support" cm for now but it works - try it, in case you always can go back on cm kernel, in using oos 2.2 with bluspark, gives me 4-5 screen time with Wi-Fi always on which is more than enough for me, waiting stable marshmallow ^.^

Sot means screen on time.
Would you link witch rom exactly you are using. Just saying Pie isn't terribly helpful. Please give us link or name of the rom and kernel if you use custom one.
What is heavily influencing battery draining is age of the device ( hence battery), level of usage every day, signal strength for various radios our device is using...and many other factors.
Again please give us advice on your rom of choice please

Then you review yourself
And its not your educational decision to waste your year or something
just try and if you doesn't like rom change it
its not too hard who you used custom roms
And if you analyzed in every roms threads many users for founds bugs, battery issue but some users never found these issue
If you ask for best rom you will find all roms names from different users
And for me its Xtended pie coz this is a first rom i did not use custom kernel and any doze or LKT and getting best performance
