Which Kitchen? - Mogul, XV6800 ROM Development

Hey guys, I'm looking to use a kitchen to make my own ROM (I want just a stripped ROM w/touchflo and no WMP.) So I read the Wiki and FAQ and I'm looking for a kitchen to download. I'm pretty sure that their phone specific so I was looking at the ones in the titan wiki for download. One hasn't had a post since September, the other since April. I figure there has to be a newer version, so if anyone can help that would be great. Also the one on PPCgeeks is down so I couldn't even download that one. If they're not phone specific, let me know and I'll be on my way reading other wiki's to get one. If they are phone specific, could someone please point me to a current one?

Original AT&T Fuze (HTC Raphael) ROM

Hello:
I'm sure a total newb question.
I am only marginally savvy with this sort of stuff - but I would like to experiment with some of the ROM's that I see in these forums for my AT&T Fuze (HTC Raphael).
What I would like to know is, where can I get the original ROM for my device (or backup somehow off of my device) in case I want to revert back to the "original settings".
I'm sure that I'll find the cooked ROM's here to be superior, but at the very least, I would like to know if I can reset this in the future whenever I upgrade and want to sell the device.
Thank you.
Hey there,
I'm in the same boat as you. From what I've found by searching, it can be found here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=439346
However, the HardSPL instructions clearly say that you have to also get the following:
"be sure to first restore stock OS, and stock radio. stock SPL is always to be done last!!"
And that's where I'm stuck because I can't seem to find sock Fuze radio or OS. Maybe someone can clarify for us?
check out the Wiki, all of the info you need is in there. There is a table of all of the ROMs including all AT&T stock ROM's that have been released. Definately follow the instructions for HardSPL and make sure that's installed correctly before you do anything, you can brick your phone otherwise. Also, for AT&T you will need to make a registry change or install a cab file to fix the keymappings from the original HTC Touch Pro to your Fuze. Good luck, and happy flashing.
OK, so right after I made this post, I find this page...
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=HTC_Raphael_WM6.1_ROMs
From "Device Information", I find that one of these match my device:
ROM: 1.95.502.5
Radio: 1.02.25.32
Protocol: 52.39c.25.22H
Hurray for doing "just one more search"...

Cool, yeah, I think this is the page I found above.
And, I found the following post, which I was going to follow: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=448008
But if you have any other specific info for my device, I'd LOVE to hear it. Bricking would be very bad... LOL!
Thanks!
[Edit] Dang.. you guys respond fast! Thanks for the additional info!

Can someone help me ?

As you see, I could use some help
For the last month or so (since I own an Atom Life) I was waiting for a WM6.1 Build 21015 ROM to come out, but that has not happened.
I wanted to use things like this HTC Menu Replacement and this only runs on Builds above 21xxx.
Has anyone made a ROM like that and just not posted it here or is just no one interested in creating such a ROM ?
I would do it myself, but I suck at cooking, never even got a ROM to build correctly and I don't know where to find a Base 21xxx ROM to start with, also I don't know where to find the Drivers or other necessary Stuff to make the ROM usable on Atom Life.
So my question, short, is this: Is there such a ROM, if yes could you direct me to where it is to be found ?
If not, could you tell me where I can find the necessary stuff to create such a ROM ?
Maybe i'll register at PDAVIET to take a look there, if Google delivers an accurate enough Translation...
I'll be free to help you after 12 May. If you can wait for me till then, I'll be glad to help you, dude.
By the way, you can find the HTC-ported stuff in the Development & Hacking forum. And a software called called FingerSuite can replace the HTC Menu Enhancement(the original one won't work on Atom Life).
well, I just remembered that your ROM is already there, there is just one little Question I need to have answered, it's in your Thread
If this Question is answered, some Moderator is welcome to close this thread or delete it altogether

OEM & SYS Organizing?

Hopefully I'm posting this in the right place. I'm pretty much a noob to the whole rom building area. My main problem is reorganizing the Oem and Sys folders from a stock rom. I know i could easily load someone elses Oem or sys that is already organized, but the takes all the fun out of it. So basically if anyone can give me a decent and detailed way, or point me in the right direction of doing this would be very much appreciated and helpful. I have already searched xda, ppc, and the web for such info and could find none.
thanks for your help.
P.S. Just got my Posting Cherry POPPed.

Thanks for the reply....yet i own a cdma touch pro. Now i have roms and kitchens from all over these sites... I've tried just about everything. I've gotten to the point where i just wanna make my own rom from scratch.. So all I'm looking for here is just some type of help on organizing the OEM folder. Just mainly get all the stock applications into their own modules. Thanks tho.
Have you looked at http://www.ppcgeeks.com/ ? There tends to be more CDMA activity over there than here.
Cheers,
Actually I have, I'm Always on these two sites and i know ppc is more for the whole cdma phones. I've always been a little more comfortable here...If that's alright with you folks. Plus I've found this site to be a lil more informative at times.
Just wanted to make sure you were informed since you're looking at building your own ROM and own a CDMA device ... last thing I'm sure you want to do is build a ROM that would brick your device.

[Q] should i do it?

first of all hello to everyone, I am new to this site.
i came across this site since i have been searching for ROM developments to my phone.
i see this is a very comprehensive site with ALOT of information and i dont even know where to begin.
So i hope someone nice here will answer a few questions
First of all, is it worth upgrading to another ROM (one of these sticky threads ROM)
I've been looking at the Artemis but again im not sure what to choose.
Also no idea how to upgrade it and if anything goes wrong is it possible to backup the original ROM?
I like to upgrade since im not very fond of the original ROM, also a bit slow from time to time.
I am not a computer noob just very new to this. Hope someone will help or point me in the right direction.
hi there.
I whole heartedly recommend flashing a custom rom to your phone. I only flashed my first rom earlier this year. there are plenty of tutorials here on xda. this really is a great community.
search in the threads for MSkip's guide to flashing your first HD2 rom. Just always remember to read instructions thoroughly.
Roms are down to personal taste but I personally like the Energy series.
good luck.
I was afraid to, but now I'm glad I did (flashed like 5 times now, till found the ROM for me) Just remember to read all the ROM info and instructions carefully and for the love of God, have the proper Radio version for the ROM OR ELSE YOU WILL BRICK IT!

[Q] WM6 download

First, I hope this is the correct forum for this request. If it isn't please tell me where to move it to or please move it and tell me where you moved it to so I can keep up with it. I searched the forums but could not find a link. Thanks. Does anyone have a link to a site where I can download WM6 for my AT&T 8525? I love my phone but didn't know that there were places that would help you upgrade it. I didn't even know the WM6 was being offered. I thought it was just for the new phones. Everywhere I look for a download it is no longer available. Anyway if someone can help me I sure would appreciate it.Oh and any instructions on how to do it would also be appreciated. All this talk about boot loader and manager this has me all confused and no I am not blonde just old and worn out. Reply to me at Coinhunter at charter.net please or on here is ok to. I just don't know how often I will get to come to this website.
