Flashed to a new ROM then decided I'm going to work from the stock ROM as it is, but I can't find a copy of the stock Raphael ROM for the life of me. Anyone assist me in this area? Thanks

Do you still have the stocfk rom on your device now?
Yes, it's currently stock. I want to give the elite RC3 ROM a shot.

If your stock rom is still on the device you might do a dump first if the stock rom isn't available yet Dump instructions and dump instrictions.
that way if it doesn't work you can reflash your old rom back.
Thanks for the instruction, I went ahead with the RC3 rom and it works unbelievably faster than the stock rom. I was just having a few problems with my bluetooth transfering between devices, don't know if it's a fault of the new rom.

i have been searching everywhere and i can not find an updated rom. i just got my TP yesterday with rom version 1.03 dated 11-11-08. the htc site says my serial number is invalid.
i did find this rom:

is this the newest for cdma or does it matter?
there is no new update for the sprint version. the one on the site is the gsm version. there are plenty of cooked roms though, im using the juggalo rom and i have improved performance all around.
i was trying to avoid the custom roms for now, as i don't even have a copy of the current stock rom and i don't know how to get it back to oem configuration.
has anyone heard of an upcoming rom update?

If you have that ROM as stock on your HD2 then it should be available somewhere

It is the stock ROM on Indian HD2. However, I can't find it in any of the forums or websites for download.
and what about via htc.com and your device serialnumber? surely you should be able go fetch it there
There isn't a ROM posted on the Indian support pages...

I have the 1.48.720.2 dumps
I have taken all the partition dumps of (Indian ROM) 1.48.720.2, can some one help me to make .nbh file out of the dump. Dump was created using QMAT(currently PSAS).

no,you have to use hspl to go from one country rom to other country rom.

any news on updated rom for india....? i have been seeing this...for topaz updated rom was available after 4months from rest id region...for hd2 its like 5months from rest of region...
is it because we are less on htc phone population or because we use less features so no problems with using existing rom...happy with updates or patches?

Since all of you guys over here have some experience in Flashing your HD2 please suggest me some ROM versions to Flash because when i see this forum i find lots of options and i'm really confused in selecting the ROM.

1) HSPL it
2) Change the Radio (go for radio which has .50 to enable 576 RAM)
3) Download custom ROM from here and flash via USB

You dont have to worry about flashing. All experienced here starts as inexperienced
Make sure you understand the process and the risk

hi, i have hd2 from tmobile us, i have used hardspl3, phone worked good but after flash to change language, phone dead and computer reconize phone like qualcomm device, i can not go canary mode or do anything more

its dead, you flashed a 51 radio with the rom which has killed it.
all non tmous official roms will kill a tmous, because of the radio. (except perhaps that far east rom which has a ..50.. radio,, but i don't know of anyone trying it,,, i wouldn't.

correct, most (all?) cooked roms do not include a radio. Only official roms.
When you get your new one, never ever flash an official rom that isn't tmous.
Cooked roms will tell you 'tmous compatible', but ALL non tmous shipped ones are not compatible.

I have a Hero (A6262) bought in australia (from australian retailer) and have successfully rooted/ran custom Roms previously.
I currently have Arman's bootloader installed and can easily switch between custom roms.
however, I simply want to revert back to the shipped rom (for warranty purposes) but every single original HTC RUU I have tried errors with "invalid custom ID". I've tried every single WWE stock RUU from the "[ROM] Official HTC Hero RUU ROM + Radio Links" list... but to no avail...
Could anyone have an idea of what I'm doing wrong, or to point me to the correct RUU please?

found my issue - well I think i did ....
it now works after updating to the latest RA Recovery rom... all ID issues resovled.

I too need a stock AUSTRALIAN hero RUU or ROM. I don't care if its 1.5 or 2.1 just something completely stock and local.
