Can anyone lead me to a download of a U.S. based Stock Rom for the C8633 ?
Ive been looking all over the place & just cant seen to find one. Right now I'm running a CE (Central Europe) based stock Rom.

Flashed to a new ROM then decided I'm going to work from the stock ROM as it is, but I can't find a copy of the stock Raphael ROM for the life of me. Anyone assist me in this area? Thanks

Any ideas on where I can find a stock 1.90.421.1 WWE Rom? My Raphael was purchased in South Africa.

Do you still have the stocfk rom on your device now?
Yes, it's currently stock. I want to give the elite RC3 ROM a shot.

If your stock rom is still on the device you might do a dump first if the stock rom isn't available yet Dump instructions and dump instrictions.
that way if it doesn't work you can reflash your old rom back.
Thanks for the instruction, I went ahead with the RC3 rom and it works unbelievably faster than the stock rom. I was just having a few problems with my bluetooth transfering between devices, don't know if it's a fault of the new rom.

My question is, I have a SG2 that I got from dialaphone in the uk. I understand that even though it's on O2 it's an unlocked rom (tried diffrent simcards) I've tried so many roms and such I was hoping to get back to stock for the official ICS update.
I've trawled through samfirmware and this site and google to try and find the correct stock rom/firmware I need but I;m getting confused by the different UK roms and firmwares on samfirmware.com
Can one of you fantastic folks please point me in the right direction of the official stock rom for my phone, preferentially gingerbread. If it is an older version that would be cool too as I could then easily update via Kies.

Use Check Fus (http://fus.nanzen.se) to find the correct stock firmware.
I am looking to flash a ROM to my SGS3 but have to start again as a noob.
I have used mskips tool to root the phone ( i think ) In the tools menus it gives an option to download a stock ROM from samsung-roms i think and it gives some different versions that end in:
XXALE8
XXALEF etc, etc
What do these refer to and how do i find what is suitable for me/most up to date.
My carrier is T-Mob UK and the letters from my Device Info page is BVALE4...not sure it is the same thing yet but im guessing so. I am first looking to try a stock/rooted ROM and then i will probably move up to custom stuf once my knowledge grows a little...along with my confidence. Any pointers welcome.

Im also on Tmobile uk just flash the stock samsung firmware this will unbrand the phone and get rid of any tmobile bloat ware.
latest Uk unbranded firmware is XBLG6

P.S I am registered to sammobile.com but I cannot see 3 UK in the options.
Edit: I downloaded a stock ROM from sammobile, made a 2nd ROM partition in recovery but it would not flash. Is this because of it being a 2nd ROM or do I need to flash via ODIN?

HI guys I lost my original Samsung gs3 stock rom, when I flashed a new Rom "checkrom evo v6" I'm a novice in operating android phones, I didn't have a clue about backing up and my warranty being void by customizing my phone. I have searched every website with the hope of downloading stock rom related to my phone to no avail.I'm in desperate need of having my phone unrooted and going back to the way it was. Pls respond in layman terms

Thanks for your response, first my region is ireland, and I did check Sammobile, the firmware link on the website seem to be for registered members only. Tried registering several times but for some strange reason it keeps failing. I would like to know if I could do same download through Samsung kiers and the difference between a stock Rom and a stock firmware? Thanks

I'm on the 3IE network, and running the jellybean 4.1.1, I've it unlocked all these before I rooted my device.
Both 4.1.2 and 4.1.1 (and everything before that) are available on SamMobile for your phone.
I still can't post links so you'll have to de-butcher this, but that'll take you to a listing of firmwares for your country/carrier. Choose the one you want!

Sorry chucky17ng, I didn't read your post properly. For your purposes there is no practical difference between "firmware" and "ROM". And no, if you have rooted then Kies will bomb out saying your device has been modified.
Your best bet is to grab the firmware once your registration goes through (or source it somewhere else), drop the file onto your phone, then flash it with mobile Odin.
There are other ways, but I know that one works.
