hi all,
from where can i get a cover or case for my jage,
more specifically, from Egypt or KSA if any.
thnx
i think i decided to sell my jade cause i'm not finding a a flexible cover for it,
and i see this the BIGGEST bug in it.
I know this thead is out of date but its still getting a lot of views so...
Brando are selling Touch 3g silicone cases now.
I've got a black one, the fit is good and it was really cheap from ebay.
I have found several kind of cases for the HTC Jade. Take a look at this list:
http://shop.brando.com.hk/search.php?keyword=htc+jade&Submit=Product+Search
I personally prefer flip-flop covers, but that's just an opinion:
http://shop.brando.com.hk/bw-leather-case-for-htc-touch-3g-flip-top-_p03023c0004d004.html
I have never shopped in brando (although I might), it just happens to have some covers for Jade, and someone else mentioned it in this post, so I took a look at it.

brown back + front cover
hello, does anybody know where to get original brown front and back (battery) covers for the Touch 3G? There are some third-party on ebay but the quality looks quite crappy...
It's apparently no problem to get an original battery cover, but I didn't find a front cover anywhere...

So with that i want someone to recomend me a case like the ones SEIDIO makes... i like the rubber/plastic feel/construction and at the same time like that they use very thin/light material... any help is greatly appreciated!

Me to!
Exactly what I'm waiting for as well - can't find yet for my month old Sprint TP2. Anybody finds similar I'd love to hear about it.
Hard Case definitely needed
I would like a hard case for my AT&T Tilt 2 (Touch Pro 2). If anyone has any information, please share it!
BUMP :s
Anyone?
Acrylic Case for Tilt 2 found
Check this out: http://www.wireless.att.com/cell-phone-service/cell-phone-details/?device=HTC+Tilt2&q_sku=sku4030272
click on the "compatible accessories tab"
Amazingly, AT&T is the first to offer a "naked acrylic case" for the Tilt 2. It sounds like a Seidio-type case, except the case has an attached screen protector. The photo is horrible and I don't know of any AT&T store that carries these cases so, someone will have to take the plunge for us to find out what they're like. If I decide to buy it, I will certainly post photos and a review here.
I picked up the clear case when I got my Tilt 2 this weekend. Local ATT store in California had it in stock. The case is by Case Mate. It is pretty nice. The thin plastic over the screen is not causing any problems, but it tends to stick to the screen, so you do get these little air bubbles in spots. I'm hoping that if I really clean the screen well that problem will go away. I'm getting a little grit under the screen at the edges. I don't know if that will be a problem.
It does not add much to the size of the phone, so I'm happy.
ThomD, can you post photos of the case? Also, I assume the case is two pieces, can you confirm? Is it possible to cut the screen cover part off and use an affixed screen cover?
Willl the ATT case fit my Sprint TP2?
Photos later today, if work isn't too busy.
The case is two pieces. With a dremel is should be easy to take out the screen protector part, it is very thin compared to the rest of the case.
If Sprint and ATT have the same button layout it should work for Sprint phones.
I have the sedio case for my Treo Pro that I bought from sprint and the sprint touch pro 2 fits in the case perfectly!!! I love that it faces inward and protects the screen.

About three weeks ago, SeidioOnline customer service advised me that they hope to have the spring clip holster for the TP2 available around the first week in November. We'll see . . .

Out of stock... geeze did u guys buy them al?
I'm just going to wait for the Seidio becuase no one else makes a holster that works with the case and keeps the screen facing in, protecting it. Well not that I know of. If there is another lmk.
I also like that they are making a dock station for it that will be compatible with the case.
I went to Pocket Solutions and bought their leather Prestige case for the VZW TP2...a touch of elegance and with the belt clip.
However, I, too, am waiting for the new cases from Seidio...just received their extended 1750 battery and like it very much!
Anthony
Looks like the Seidio Innocase Surface is now pre-orderable and offically ships on 11/9. Hopefully they'll have the holster to go with it by then as well and maybe even the cradle.

Think it to late... But i have two shield on my touch pro 2
First Shield- Zagg screen Reason i bought is because the plastic its made out of is starch proof, meaning if your key rub against your screen you wont see any of those ugly lines.
Second Case- I Bought Off Amazon.it exactly what Ur looking for, it come with a belt clip that can be remove at any time, it come with an extract peace that change the belt clip clip on part to a flat back give u the ability to slide the phone right into your pocket without that belt clip sticking out.

That how it look. Its worth the money. Also the belt clip turns into a stand like the one in this picture

I bought this clear case at a local AT&T business center. It's certainly enough that I don't feel like keeping the phone at home because I'm worried of the damage that might happen if I put it in a pocket..
I am not-so patiently awaiting the seidio case and clip for this phone however, as I loved the one for my original Tilt.

Just curious if we could swap battery covers.
I have been wondering the same thing -- would the battery cover from a Verizon TP2 or Sprint TP2 fit on the GSM/AT&T Tilt2? The only thing I can see being a problem is the fact that CDMA models have the 3.5mmm headphone jack next to the mini-USB connector so the area where both of those are located might be a little wider than the GSM models.
Has anyone tried putting a CDMA battery cover on a GSM TP2?
According to this, the CDMA variants are a different size than the GSM variants - so my guess would be no, it won't work.
Thanks for posting the link. I actually went to a Verizon store tonight and held my Tilt2 upto their TP2 and I did notice that the piece where the headphone jack & mini usb are on the Verizon one is wider than the Tilt2, so combining that first hand experience with what's on the link you posted, it's pretty safe to say you're right.
GSM Touch Pro 2 Housing w/Rubberized Back Cover
There are several vendors selling TP2 housing sets on eBay and elsewhere, which include a rubberized battery cover. As far as I can tell, these all say they are designed for the T7373 version of the TP2, which I believe is the original GSM HTC TP2. I have the AT&T Tilt 2, which I believe is the T7377, but from what I have been able to gather, the housings are the exact same except for slight coloring differences.
First, can anyone confirm if indeed the battery cover from the original HTC GSM TP2 (T7373) will fit on a AT&T Tilt 2 (T7377)? And second, has anyone else out there bought one of these aftermarket housings and tried putting the battery cover on either of these two devices? Does it fit?
I REALLY wish HTC/AT&T would just sell an OEM rubberized cover -- better yet, wish they just included it on the device in the first place. Doesn't anyone test these things for usability before they ship them??? The phone gets warm from the battery, which in turn makes your hand sweat from holding it, which makes the stupid glossy cover even more slippery than it is dry. I don't get it, who is making these horrible design decisions -- AT&T? HTC? Sorry for venting!!

Confirmed. I bought a T7373 cover, it fits my Tilt2 just fine. No PTT button, of course.
T7373 Cover fits T7377
Thanks so much for letting me know! Yes, I can live without the Push To Talk button.
Did you buy the genuine OEM one for the original HTC GSM Touch Pro 2 (the silver cover)? or did you buy one of the housing sets from the vendors in Hong Kong -- if so, which vendor did you buy from?

Just the battery cover. I got it from MSG Digital, but it looks like they took down their listing for the product.
I have the following extended battery, and was wondering if there were any good cradles that would fit it. I have found a few, but not sure if they will work with my thicker G1.

i've bin hunting for a case for a min since i got the extended battery!!
I got my extended battery and case from eBay, and like you, have been searching for a dock for it. I have tried every place I can think of (online, and physical stores)...no luck yet.
If you are handy you could try something like this. Metal Back It works great in my SUV, either landscape or portrate. I have a big neo magnet glued to my dash.
Then build this Lexan Desk Stand
That is probably not what you are looking for.
I'm also looking for one (had one for my kaiser)
I found a solution: buy another battery back case that fits the original docks.
I found them on ebay

Hi,
Does anyone have a battery cover for the MDA Compact V that they don't need, or are willing to sell?
Dropped my phone and took a chunk out of the battery cover, lets in a lot of dust now.
Can't find the battery cover for sale online anywhere, only full body kits.
Thanks,
FrankyG
A little search on ebay ...
http://shop.ebay.de/i.html?rt=nc&LH...pt=Handy_Zubehör&_fln=1&_trksid=p3286.c0.m283
anyone got that (custom..) back-cover with "rubber coating" ?
is that any good?
looks interessting.. as the standard backcovers for htc/o2 xda are just plain
plastic ..
love to have a backcover which is not that slippery/shiny .. also i love to use my phone lying on the table without the need to hold it withe the other hand ..
i owned a sony-erricson p1i before.. THAT was a perfect rubber-backcover.
tx
i bought a rubber battery cover two months ago. take a look on this post where i've put three pics of it.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=7932389&postcount=268
yes.. it looks great and exactly fitting ..
guess i take a try on those.. better than wrapping some ruber-glove the handy ..
gsm4world still sells them atm
search for ebay-item 130438357456
I was searching for a metal one, found not really sth interesting ... smb has a tip?
this wont do .. i think because of the anntenna major parts of the backcover must be of plastic ..
maybe magnesium would do the trick (the stuff my old HP HX4700 is made of)
have not received my new backcover yet (the rubber one) ..
I currently have an Otter Box for my 3vo. I like my case, I really do. Can't count how many times I have dropped my phone and not marks left on the case. Well I would like to know who out there makes a silicone case for the phone with extended battery packs, along with a cradle that will hold the over sized phone.
Seidio makes a docking station that will fit their extended battery. Seidio also makes a case that fits with their extended battery, it's similar to the Defender.

We just approved the prototype today for a new TPU case for the Evo 3D after market extended battery. It should leave our factory in China on 9/14 and be available soon after. I don't have any pictures yet but I'll attach the 3D scan
We have similar cases on Amazon for the Thunderbolt, Incredible, and Evo 4G but this will be our first TPU case due to customer requests that the silicone was to soft.
Hello. Not trying to spam you guys with advertising but we did release our new TPU case today for the Evo 3D. I believe this is the first case available for the aftermarket extended batteries.
You can find them on Amazon and Ebay in various colors. I'm anxious to hear any reviews from any of you guys. Let me know if you have questions.
Have a blessed week!
I cant find you on Amazon.

Well this is really refreshing and I like it. However I just cant seem to understand why this casing would be more expensive than the extended batt I bought for only USD 7. Hopefully the price will be more competitive once the mass production begins

Good question and I don't mind giving you a completely honest answer.
There are only a handful of manufacturers in Asia ( I only know two but I'm sure there are more) that have the 3D equipment and tools to make the silicone moulds. Hundreds of companies can make cases (and cheap) but none of them can make the moulds. The average cost to make a mould for TPU is about $3000USD and for silicone is about $2000.
Add that to an already narrow niche market of people buying extended batteries, narrowed more by people that want cases it means selling over 1200 units (at our retail price) to break even.
There are other companies selling cases for the Thunderbolt for $24.99 and a manufacturer as of today still selling a case for the Evo4G on Amazon for $14.99 and its in the top 100 in Amazon Sales rank for Electronics. We try very hard to be very competitive which I hope you agree with.
Thanks for your comment. Simple supply and demand economics lesson
Awesome...... I will be getting one here in the next few days. Thanks!

The evo 3d tpu extended battery case is a flop.
The tpu case for the evo 3d with extended battery does not allow you to use the power on / off button and the volume up / down button. The plastic is too hard and will not work the buttons, it was poorly designed. I tried one off ebay from northmont30096 and the only way I can work the buttons is to remove the case. The phone itself as far as design is flawed by them building the buttons into the back case, not to mention its a real pain to get the back cover off and back on especially compared to the design of the evo 4g. My suggestion to anyone is wait for a true silicone case, or try the seidio case which I do believe the active case I think is designed with access to the buttons built in to the back door and not covering them. I guess until someone comes out with a true silicone case for the 3500 generic extended battery, until then factory battery and back door for me it is with a true silicone case. I would rather have a case some might say is too soft that will work the buttons than to have a hard tpu case that I have to take off to use the buttons. Just my 2 cents.
