PRoblem with Audio Manager
I have installed but run partial because i dont see the bottom bar and i have an error "Load RC fail"
Help me...
Thanks
Is it just me or doesn't this program sort the music on the albums correctly. Seems like it just does alphabetical and not by real album track order as WMP does.
I'd use it all the time if it weren't for that. Is there a way around that? I don't see anyway to set it up sorting wise.
Woo got this running on my samsung blackjack aka i600. Its the one thing i missed from my SPV E650. Changed to the blackjack because the screen kept breaking on the SPV gutted as it was an awesome lil phone.

Yep, I confirm, and it is a reason for me to use WMP.
Is everyones' font on main streen of HTC audio manager (artist, title etc...) so small? I run it on QVGA screen and it is really tiny - like 8 px :/
Any solutions please?
Anyone figure out a registry entry or something to adjust the font on the Audio Manager? I need it like 12 or 14 point... anyone?

I've been using TCPMP, a very neat player with lots of plugins for both audio and video playback, works wonderfully, has many options (I mean many!), even a benchmark , in a few words I love it!
You should give it a try, and with the plug ins you can get flv playback, mp4 playback and whoever knows what may come out soon
Used in combination with Pocket DivX encoder works like a charm with my lobby, the only weak point is when you try to play WMV files intended for PC, the WMP has a bit more power, but who said one program eliminates the other
Is there an updated version of the Audio Manager?
There's some bugs in version 1.0, such as sorting by trackname vs track #
HE-AAC playback doesn't seem to work properly, SBR is not decoded, sounds dull
I've contacted HTC but they weren't be able to help much, gotten no responce after sending them a sample file...
Most recent version i've seen on the forums version 1.02 build 1017.717 should have the fix to sort by track #

I heard you can use the Audio Manager to make ringtones is there already a thread on here for it.. just wondering if anyone knows how to make ringtones with it
just select Set as ringtone in Menu and then select Trim. This is where you can crop the song and save it as the ringtone
thanks for this! working on i780

I just recently changed my ATT tilt with the windows 6.0 version to the 6.1 version. I want to download the HTC Audio Manager so I can manage my ring-tones. However, I downloaded the link that was provided by rickwyatt and run it to my laptop but could not find the setup to install it on my laptop to transfer it to my phone. I tried also to copy the audio-zip link and paste it to my storage card while my phone was syncing but it didn't work. Can some one tell me how to or get the HTC manager so I can transfer it to my phone and what are the protocols. Thanks,

Just installed it. My first impression: very fast and nice rom again just like your previous Diamond I rom for Nike.
Some things I found out untill now:
- Photocamera doesn't take pictures (but that was already mentioned before)
- smart "dialing" in messaging doesn't work, the feature when you type a begin of a name in the TO field that it gives options. Does work in Tom's project editor rom has probabely something to do with the Diamond keyboard.
- GPRS icon has the x instead of the G has been an issue with more roms
- Opera is not working for me (this can be something on my side because it was also installed through UC and I deinstalled it afterwards from the remove programms menu)
- When sliding out keyboard and pushing keys nothing happens while normally it switches to the dialer.
- In the dialer the hardware keys are default on abc instead of numbers.
- Smart dialing in "All People" works like I have a 20 keys version of the Dual (6=jk, 7=cv etc.) while I have a 16 keys
Apart from these bugs its a great rom. I really like the UC capability. The tumbcal app is missing though while it was in your previous rom. And maybe it is nice to include the manilla2dconfigurator.
Keep up the good work!!!
I cant see any webpage on flash 8 thru opera with flash lite 3...
I love this new album and camera (even if it doesnt work, lol)
@gullum
is touchflo part of this ROM? i use it a lot to move between SMS, MMS and email and also for scrolling in contacts, etc.
First of all, I think this ROM is awesome, but I can't seem to get video calls to work. I installed the 3G Dialer separately but it still doesn't work Camera doesn't work well too, but that's not a big deal to me for now.
Can anyone advice me on the video call thingy? As that's really important to me.

I've managed to get it to record video but the capture was only flikering
anyway I have the Album video working
I will do some more work to try to get the camera to work before I release next version.
Finally someone came up with a fix for those strange freezes with manilla:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=2688553&postcount=2699
Just remove the GXDMA.dll on your windows folder.
after installing tcpmp my wmp and htc album will not play vids. even after uninstalling tcpmp (which worked fine and i'd want to keep) my wmp and htc album still will not play vids. i downloaded the htc videopatch.cab which i heard takes care of this but it will not install. i read somewhere that you need manilla unchecked in the today settings but i do have that unchecked and my phone was soft reset afterwords and the install didn't work. i really don't wanna hard reset. can someone help me plz, i can't find an answer anywhere
sorry to bump this but i really would like to kno if anyone has a solution or something to try out. i've searched everywhere and can't understand why there isn't more on this because i am not the first to install tcpmp.
windows media player download
Since nobody seems to know how to correct the issue that I am having then is there someone out there that has the install file for Windows Media Player? Like the original .cab or one from a cooked ROM I can use? I really do not want to go through a hard reset. Anybody, please???
Hi all,
i hope i'm in the right section.
I'm tryng to cook my own ROM in ITA language 0410, taking for base OEM and EXT 2.10, sys 21985.
I transfer all the necessary files 0410.mui.exe from official 1.66 to my kitchen and upgraded MUI strings if necessary.
I'use manila 2012 and after days of work, now ROM it's perfect, but i've a big problem with my own video playback from Album Tab (but aslo with WMP).
I can hear voice, but i can't see any video.
I've no prolem with the photos.
Another little problem is that Album TAB don't autorotate as in official rom,
while music TAB have no proble.
Can you help me solve this problem?
Sorry for my bad english.
Thanks in advance.
Little edit. i have problem also in youtube video playback.

Have you found a solution to this issue yet?
Because I too have cooked my own ROM on my HTC Imagio & My brother's HTC Pure and have simular issues that your having with your HD2. But my issue is the sound cuts right off and video often would freeze up the my device. When playing video through Album & YouTube.
I have tried like 2 to 3 different versions of Album, Full Screen player, DShow, Media Toolkit, m Hub, etc... I tried anything that my lead to the issue. I also tried not including youtube...still nothing.
I am using:
Manila v2.5.2012
I would like to have some Sony apps on my TF300T, and so i found some ported stuff: Walkman, Gallery, Video, and some other. Not everything works fine (there are some bugs). So, i'm trying to port apps from Xperia Tablet Z (some work out of the box, like Calculator).
This i'd like to port:
Media Apps:
Walkman
Album
Videos
Dlna
Organizer apps:
Alarm&Clock
Contacts
Email
Calendar
Notes
Xperia Home launcher works, and widgets too, but there are some bugs (FC when selecting walkman widget, FC if you try to select theme).
That's about it.
So if someone has experience with this, and willing to help, by doing some work or giving instructins, please help.
I took the xperia tablet z rom from here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2323654
And i'm currently running Energy non themed rom.
+1. I would love to see this on our tablet too. There was a guy working on a Xperia ROM for our tablet but it never came out. I hope some developer can help us

You might find this link interesting. There is a link for small sony apps as well, I'm not sure which apps are included. Maybe the op could give you some insight.

Thanks for reply, i already tried this rom. But i had problems with wifi, and only small apps have been ported (i think). So, no go. We already have good base rom on my device, just need to port speceific apps. Opposite of other proprietary interfaces like touchwiz ot sense, i think that porting sony stuff only comes down to finding all dependencies of a specific app (no coding or smali editing). Is there any tool which can show what are the dependencies of some apk?

I had hoped the op of that thread could give you some insight.
I tried yesterday to port a weather widget from another rom without success. Even watching logs the entire time provided nothing useful. I have also failed to port a keyboard and browser successfully. I deoxed a complete rom in my most recent failed attempt. Everything ran fine on the donor unit but not where I wished to use them.
I'm sure there is such a tool. I'll do some searching and reply if I find anything useful.
Hey do you have finished the port?

No need for him to do this. You can get them from here. Though these are not from the tablet they work fine on the tf300t, I have them on mine with Chromi X:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2059203
The movies app did not work from this so I installed a xperia Z movie app and it works perfectly...it's great for streaming from my home network...
The Movies app does not play MKV files with AC3 audio and I haven't got the visualizer app to work on the Walkman player either yet...
I have used the old Walkman logo rather than the circular one as that's the one I use on my old Sony phone (I think it looks better).
If I get a chance I will upload the files and some instructions on how to install them... (sorry I help look after an autistic toddler and I don't get much of a chance to jump on here)...
