Hi, On krazy's request I am starting this poll. A lot of us have trouble downloading for one site or the other (like I have trouble downloading from skydrive).

@Addicted: ya it seems so I too dont have problem with 4shared. But for me, Skydrive is the no 1 option as it uploads a typical rom within 17-20 Mins on my 256kbps connection. 2nd is 4shared, with its upload manager, it takes 30 mins to upload but its buggy and drops connection sometime. At third, its Megaupload. Upload speed is around 25 mins but they dont keep files if they are not downloaded for a specified period :|

Thats pretty weird! In my case it longest to download from skydrive, normally I have to try atleast 4 to 5 times before its successfully downloaded . So may be for once its a site which has faster upload speed than download speed .

I am getting 307 kbps upload rates on my 256 kbps connection I am sure the download speed would be good too, they have no limits on how long they will keep the file, they dont let you wait before downloading (not sure though) and the upload manager is super fine. Just they dont allow file sizes greater than 100 MB but what the heck, our roms are always withing 60 MB range. I think i will try it for uploading the next version of Pro Users ROM, which i am planning for next week as of now.

Mediafire is best to download from ,after that 4shared
skydrive needs 4 to 5 attempts to download ,as already discussed.

Hi I am currently using the AP touch rom and don't envisage trying this for a while, bit I noticed that they had the original wm5 rom for download so this may be useful to others wanting to send their phones back with the original software.

T-Mob Ameo WM6
Personally, I've already reverted to the PK ROM
After making the necessary registry changes for A2DP, the T-Mob ROM refused to give me the wireless stereo option, whereas the same changes on the PK ROM have been absolutely wonderful and my headset works as expected.
I'm also no expert on ROM version numbers, which was why I got confused when I saw this...
On bootscreen:
PK shows B 06 2.19
TM shows B 06 2.35
Yet, on the about screen:
PK CE OS 5.2.1933 (Build 18533.0.7.0)
TM CE OS 5.2.1620 (Build 18125.0.4.2)
I also think the T-Mobile WM6 ROM just looks far too much like their WM5 ROM.. no comm manger on the today screen for one just gets on my teats
The developers gets my uttmost respect for their work on their ROMs - keep it up, I look forward to previewing the next ROM from the team here on XDA-Devs.

hey the rom is pretty cool(not as beautiful as AP)
it has the same radio built
the thing i loved most is that the text looks richer and has vga resolution.
Yes the icons are large but the text is in VGA(Ap just have alook and please consider it in ur next update coz just because of ur sincere work Athena has lived)
the camera icon and other icons are quite funky.
the rom is alltogether snappy though old aku built.

i have been trying to download this game on my htc fuze for a while now, and could never get a download to go through. if it is hosted through rapidshare, it doesnt let me download it even after waiting 50seconds for the free download. i had the same problem with the game Experiment13 from the xperia x2, until someone put up a link to the direct download(no RS). so im hoping someone on the forums here would be kind enough to attach a direct .cab for XTRACT, or a link that actually lets me download it through my phone.

the download worked, and i finally got to play this game!!! im using a htc fuze so the resolution is off, but its still playable, im definitly saving that cab so i can install it on the touchpro 2 when i decide its time to move on to wvga phone. sony ericson makes great games!!! are there anymore games or cool apps that comewith either xperia x1 or x2 that we can use on htc devices??

anyone know how to beat level 4? its called violent skies where u fight a boss called MEGAPANZER. he puts up a shield with 4 lights and drops sawwheels. common sense tells me to shootout the lights to lower the shield, but no matter how much i try, i cant shoot them!!

CAB have a 5 min. trial limitation.
two problems:
1 it installs on device memory
2 when i return to channel list it doesn't remember last category or last country, each time I've to select again and again...
for the rest...very good app, it works flawless

Which channel exactly?
CAB updated on the first post!
Issue with installation on storage card is fixed and the program now remembers last category or last country.
Please re-download CAB file again and install on your devices.

Seriously, provided that GPS is out of your hands, could you share info or a link about why GPS doesn't currently work on Gingerbread? So that we can have an idea about the issue and avoid bugging you with this question.

I don't know the exact reasons why... all i know is that it has to do with gingerbread, and a lot of other devices are in the same boat. When they get it working, it will get pushed out to all the devices and then Cyanogen and others will work it into their repo updates, at which point we can have it for our hd2's.
I know that didnt clear it up.. but honest to god's truth, thats all i know.

how to access sd card? there's no "turn on usb storage" option. i know it's a gingerbread issue but i thought this build has fixed it.
Well, just about as soon as I download it from MyDroidWorld the link was dead. So... here's a torrent that I made that now has enough people that you should be able to download it as quickly as your connection lets you. If you have a torrent app, this will probably be the fastest way you can get the update.
SEE ATTACHED for the torrent which is placed in a ZIP file because XDA doesn't allow uploads with .torrent extensions.
If you can spare a little bandwidth, help seed the file for a little while. You can adjust the upload bandwidth to suit your connection. Even just 20k/up helps a lot.

Edit: P3droid said he updated the file to fix the error so I also updated it. This is the updated verison. I sbf'd back reflashed and did not get the error this time so seems to be working correctly now.

This really sucks. Downloaded the patch from MDW and it says installation aborted at the very end.
I'm downloading your torrent mirror as we speak, and I hope it works. My question: Do I install your torrent zip the same as any other zip?
the torrent is just in the zip file. just run it with your torrent software and download xda doesnt allow uploading of.torrent files

It will say that at the end of the installation just reboot and it will be on GB. Mine did the same thing somewhere on here it says it will say that and it is ok.
For anyone else having problems downloading, the torrent is moving pretty good, just need more people in to help seed heavy. I'll be seeding for a couple weeks at full throttle if I can.

It's definitely helping. With the half a dozen seeds, people are getting the entire download in just a couple of minutes.
For me, torrents are preferred over everything else. Already seeded 5.86 ratio.
