I have tried to u[grade my rom to vanilla theme rom downloaded fron xda...but after 2% it giving message "image file corrupted, pls check your update utiliy". Why is it so? Is there any support issue..pls help..

Hello I Jus Upgraded my XDA II to wm2005
it look preety good
but i have got some serious problem
i m not able to access MESSAGES wen i click on them ..the messaging application doesnt open >?

my rom version is 1.50g.00wwe
From what version did you upgrade? 2003SE?
When I upgraded from 2003SE, I deleted all files in the ext.ROM and Storage folders. I never had any problems or issues.
I would make a hard-reset and flash again.

i upgraded frm wm2003 to wm2005 n m gettin another error ..wen i click on sim manager it gives an error "the life 'sim_mgr' cannot be opened either it is not signed with ta trusted certificate , or one of its components cannot be found .you might to re install or restore this file"...there is one more problem ..wen i click on permanent save it give an error "open database error"i flashed my rom with the latest version again ..then too the same problem!!pelase help me sooon
What I would do...
..is reflash with WM2003SE. Then check that SMS works. Then delete all files in Ext.ROM and Storage and reflash to WM2005 latest version h.
Sorry, but that's about all I can come up with.

i got the sim problem working ..by /windows/simupload.exe ..but i cant acces the camera button as wel as the recording button..permanent save si the problem now..well i need to download the wm2003se roms its takes a Lot of time ( anyways will have to do it !

i have installed stock rom of sammobile from odin but when i see it in root explorer i am finding " .odex " files in /system/app ..... how this can be possible i never did any thing to make it deodexed..
also it is showing 511 mb used and 78 mb remaining in /system/app folder so i am not able to flash zip files because of low space, how can i increase size in system app folder ..
what is the problem, i am not able to figure out .

one more thing i want to ask about g version since you are using root box rom that can we install some stock applications in cm9 or root box .. because i tried almost all roms but i was not satisfied with the their sound with compared to which stock rom has with 5.1 effect , and camera features.. so i came back to stock rom. plz suggest me any solution because i want to run a custom rom because it is fast or help in getting space in /system/app folder so that i can zip other features in stock rom.

thanks a lot man ... for the wonderful suggestion , i tried almost all the custom rom before this but i was never satisfied because i was not getting the stock kind of high end performance in few apps like camera , audio etc .
divine rom is fulfilling all my needs ...

After success download ind file, Please place its that (inb file) at buit in memory.
ok here they way to do its!
1-put inb file into sd main
2 create sdfuse folder.
3-put inb file into sdfuse
4-reboot-your k900 into recovery mode with long press volume up and together with power button.
5-after reboot to recovery mode use up and down volume button to navi up side down.
6-choose sdupdate and press power button
7-after finish update reboot again.
8-yeah bingo and u can see (Superuser) was already in u lenovo K900:good:

The phone is good. Im very satisfied. There has been rumors that we will get the 4.3 update but not sure when. Yes the phone heats up sometimes but with the latest updates i feel like its gone down tremendously. There is no actual flaw to this phone i really like it. I will be using it until the K910 is officially released in my country. I wanna try an LTE phone lol.

Yes I know its very much "legit" . I had no problem in downloading the file uploaded initially. I will try this soon as my phone is just a week old and just wana make sure everything fine with it as after rooting I will loose its warranty.
Just a single question I have is, when on lock screen I press PIN code the whole screen brightness kinda flicker/brighten up on touch. Is it normal or its only me getting this? Also screen brightness varies while I use the phone!

I've downloaded this ROM, first I've checked every single thing as version I'm using, Kernel etc and all of them are perfecly equal to the image that them posted as "my device after flashed" but didn't work for me \:
someone has faced this issue to ?

Just flashed successfully and the phone is also running perfectly.. saw superuser access request on the start

Just go to superuser and hit the unroot button. Only stock kernel is available, no custom kernels around yet.

to check for md5 of a file in linux you can
Code:
md5sum FILE
in Windows use some software.
But if the server doesn't support md5 you can't compare them. Instead, check file size to have some reference.
maybe you should ask it on rom thread

Read, try, learn, search and do it yourself.
There are loads of step by step guides here on the forum. You just need to find them.

Please some one help me with my problem. I flalshed my Qmobile noir with a custom rom from INC Pak . and suddenly my download images are not shown in gallery . I even restored my backup taken with CWM recovery but still not able get it solved. I have enven deleted .nomedia file from download folder . but still no success. I dont know what is preventing my images from showing in gallery . I can not see any image in gallery. All my images are there i can see it through ES file exporer. Is it a virus or something else. ?
