1) is the font in 2.20CHS ugly or as better as 2.06?
2) Will the loud speaker problem happened in this rom?
3) Is battery pack pro v.1.1.1 works flawlessly wif this version?

Try this, dial a free line number, play around the side bar up and down, then try speaker on and speaker off. If it is ok then v2.20CHS is speaker bug free. On top of that the bug i mentioned here was the speaker phone is automatically speaker on whenever u receive or calling out a call. The volume when speaker on is twice louder than normal. Try confirm again.

4)What i mean on the battery pack pro is the close button seem to have a corrupted image of program icon and menu icon. However that is not the vital problem. What irritate me was whenever i go Start-Settings-Today-Items and closed it, my today screen will be totally screwed up.

Imate just got Win2k3 SE not sure , just saw other post in this forum
2, the program is not ready for SE still got bugs, closing problems/hang/delay,
but I never got the problems you say after turn off/take off from today screen.... ok with my screen
1) ok good.
2) try few times repetitously. Click on the battery pack today's plugin button, uncheck few items and do a sudden close at the top right 'X' button. Do it several of times, I'm very sure your today screen will idle or hang wif some of the info like Owner's name, tasks, messaging will get dissappear.
If you can still have a very nice complete today screen after performing the above step (2), well i must say the v2.20CHS is very stable.
Last but not least what do u mean by closing buttons/hang/delay? Mind elaborate a bit?
think some of the things is gone, not all
but nothing happen to the screen as you say

maybe it overwrite the today screen in register or some how
yes, must press few times, then only it will close down

anyway *.mui is system files, Hidden, & cant copy out
also there is 35 files in the CHinese ROM

To delete a file from rom rename and delete.
To replace files in rom rename copy new file and if you want it then delete the renamed file.
If the file don't have the same name then just rename the file in rom and copy the new file. But in this case you've to edit the registry too (I think, am no sure right now) to activate the new mui.

After i have flashed the "HardSPL G4.zip" according by running Upgrade_SPL.bat from the PC. Then actually i choose to try it out by running TNT_V5_Offical. After flashing was done. I hard reset Dopod 818pro but nothing seems to work. I cannot comm with my HP because of its still in boot screen. The screen showing

By standar TNT5 is intend to be flashed with old methode (downgrade to NVID ROM then flashed with it)
You have reached step 1 in new Flash metode
I think you have mistaken flashed your prophet, with new step you cannot flashed ur prophet using old methode, you have to use new methode. The file is different, the old one is OS.nb and the new step using nk.nbf
Just download new methode ROM (Shadow 1.0 or else with nk.nbf file) then flash ur prophet using it.
Read the step by step guide carefully. do not mix the old methode with new methode

Turn off you prophet by push the power button around 4-5 second, then push the power button again while u plug the usb connector to ur pda.
ur pda will show the flasing screen (3 colors screen) then do the new methode flashing
you will need to get into bootloader mode .. you can try these buttons combinations
[Camera] + [Soft reset]

Wow, it is very simple.
If you have download a ROM, extract it to folder than try to find the file. if you find OS.nb then you have to flashed it using old methode.
but if you find nk.nbf file, you have to use the new methode.

Just take sometimes to read the sticky thread specially how to upgrade to avoid some mistakes
If you want to use TNT_V5_Offical.. You should too make nk.nbf file from OS.nb and EXT.ROM
Try to look out this WM6 UPGRADE
Take a look step 3 and 4
It should work... I'll make nk.nbf and try it at my Prophet.

You can try to added new application in Ext. ROM. Anyway new methode work too at this ROM.. I'm flashing it already..
I'll post the file later.

i have hardspl my prophet a time ago and flashed multi-x using the new method. after finding out some bugs i decided to go back to touch xb and done this by using the old method - worked fine, xb is on my prophet and hardspl is still available. so it seems to work to use both methods one OR the other (but don't mix it like said befor..)

* installation is the same like typhoon
-unlock Super CID
-upgrade new SPL (Patched ruu)
-disable USB connection in ActiveSync

-put USB cable to your phone,press and hold camera button, then press power button
-next check "0"
-when your phone will be in bootloader mode (tri color screen) run mtty
- check USB connection in this program
and write: - info 2
- format BINFS

after successful installising reboot your phone and it will be end

Now it is very simple,
1.
In PC :
uncheck usb connection in active sync
2
in phone :
turn it off
while holding camera button stick usb cabel in and release camera button when
something appear and quickly hit ''0'' key on phone
3
inPC :
u need to have MMTY142 tool
open it and select ''usb''
than type l c:\rom.bin (remember to rename your rom to rom.bin,and u have
to put your rom in C:\....)
wait until finish
then write ResetDevice (case sensitive)
My advice: upgrading is easy but be 100% sure that your rom is compatible with yor phone, u should ask some more advanced people about it

ok guys thanks i did it...seems to be working fine...had to install an english t9 cab...my next question is if i want to change to another wm 6.1 like lazaj is working on do i just do the last section with camera button ect or do you always need to flash the spl / ruu?
U just need to flash the bin to your phone flashing spl with RUU is not needed.
sometimes you need to format the BINFS
and than flash the bin

i would like to help, can you give me more details of what you have done, let me know what baseband your on. how you flashed, what flashtool version? which build number

and i used x10 flasher v 0.2.3
i did every thing that was said in the instructions of eminence rom's thread...
what i think is may b its handcent sms that i updated is causing the problem
or what else i treid was i flashed it again in xrecovery mode and when i removed thad accounts.db file, located in data/system, that was asked to remove becuase market n g talk wont work and after dat same thing hapned no incomming sms...

try to reflash again without delet any file u don't know it and plz check ur msg centre setting may be ur current msg centre setting it's not compatble with ur operatore

i tried every thing man.. i cant figure out wot is the problem.. and base band is not an issue.. i hav baked up my rom to the state whre it was working fine and wen ever msg stops coming i have to restore it every time via xrecovery...
and 2day it hapnd like more than 7 times..
may b its the android market. cuz today it was woking fine and i only connected to market and downloded some thing after that no sms...

If you are to use Dynamic 2.0 or Eburon v3.1 you're going to need to flash the Radio v.17, not 16. You simply flash it as an .nbh and you're good to go. I was made aware not too long ago there are custom ROMs for the "16" and there is a senior developer who would have that answer because for the moment it escapes me who it is. If you're stuck at the HTC screen after installing a custom ROM then you need the 17 to make the two I just wrote about work. This information is attached to these ROMs; take care!

Normally I use radio 16 for my custom rom but my rom is 0409 only. All Asian keyboard support and dictionaries are not included (I suppose you need them)... So....
Sir I m trying to flash radio v17 but after flashing it still shows radio 16.
I tried every thing gold card , advanced ruu but nothing.

Microsoft removed this feature because of war with Google. So to sync with Google you should:
select "exchange account" instead of "google" in settings . Leave "domain" empty, in "username" field write your email, in "server" write m.google.com.

C'mon....
Go Settings and find market select item. No need to change registry.
Don't forget that Nokia counters, BT sharing and Nokia camera extras are already in the rom.

No - I don't know anybody's else roms because I never use other roms for myself. Only my own ones.
WMDC Not connecting
