[TUTORIAL] How to port XIP SYS - P3400 ROM Development

Here is easy solution how to port XIP SYS
Download XipporterEx

Put original xip in xip.bin_old and new xip (other device ) in xip.bin_new
Now click on port it
To port sys click on Realloc /sys .........
Give path of /your_extrct_rom/sys/.vm/imageinfo.bin
Now go to in oemxip_packeges u get rest of xip file which is not in new ported xip.bin
Copy this oemxip_package folder to /your_extrct_rom/OEM
Cook rom with your favorite kitchen
Update 25Jun2009 Due to Bandwidth problem you get some problem access information i resolve it as soon as possible

So it is possible in XIPPorterEx to NOT dele the cacheflt.dll and others, thats great, i didn't knew that. This tutorial, coupled with Ramerson's tutorial will give a complete guide for cooking.

Suggestions:
1. I suggest you change the title of thread, its looking like someone is asking for a tutorial rather than being a tutorial. Make it something like this:
[TUTORIAL] How to port XIP and SYS from any ROM to GENE in easy way!
2. Include a link to or as attachment, the XIPPorterEx also, so its easy to get it from your thread

i tried these procedures for porting the 21196 but it didn't work at all
can you tell me what did you do to get it to work and can you share the ported xip to us to try it too?
or just tell me what procedures did you followed to get it to run?and i'll do it.

hay man everything go smoothly i only need to know if there are any special things or another tool for porting the xip and sys.
and what procedures did you follow exactly, as these procedures in this thread do not work and i'm sure there is something special try to explain it man.
BTW i know how to port a system to a device so i'm only asking for the method you follow for porting the xip and are there any folders in the sys you changed in order to get it to work.

One question, say I have a ROM for old Gene, now I want to port it to new Gene, where do i put the xip of the ROM (old Gene)? and what do I put in the other xip.bin_??? folder?

Sorry to bug you again, but from where will I find the xip of New Gene ? Will the xip folder of any New Gene's ROM will work ?
