PIEL FRAMA just came out with a beautiful case for the K-Jam
Linke here.

that is not cheap
and no where to put my credit cards
em.....not good
There's also been some question as to the strength of the leather section that holds the device when the strap is unbuttoned when using the keyboard.
Some have even mentioned that leather does tend to stretch over time which wouldn't be good in this case (no pun intended)

The wizard has got magnets in it to do the landscape/portrait screen switching. You probably don't want to put your credit cards anywhere near it.

Not correct
Watch Mythbusters on Discovery
The magnetic strips in Bank and creditcards can take a lot more magnetic interference than those measly magnets can generate.
Hmm, don't like having to unbutton to use the keyboard
I've seen other flip (and book) cases where you don't have to unbutton to use the keyboard. If I wanted to do that, I'd keep my kayboard down my trousers.

You might well be right (which is why I said probably), but I'm not convinced that's conclusive. From the write up I've read of the program, static exposure had no affect, but waving the card though the field did. That's kind of the pattern you'd get from constantly opening and closing the case. Neither did they take into account partial corruption on a card with an already weak strip (e.g. worn). They also didn't do any long term exposure tests - only for one second. So not conclusive in my book - though no doubt it looked good for television.
I do know that my cards used to be regularly corrupted by carrying a security access card with weak internal magnets in the same wallet. And I tend to give more credence to real life experience than "infotainment" TV.
Hmmm, you might be right , I'm definetly going to check out your points as they sound viable, thank you for another perspective
So, back on topic, has anyone used the Peil Frama case?

Right now I am reviewing the Piel Frama case for the Bostonpocketpc.com website...the strap is needed to keep the pda in it's case. Without the strap you can slide out the keyboard. I's getting a little used to, but the quality is perfect.

Krusell Case for XDA Mini S Pro/ qtek 9100
Thanks for all for the help in ulocking my new xda mini s.
Well guys i found this case to be best and secure, and yes you can put credit card in this case, and am using one @ the moment. i have 3 left to sell YIM me.
Somewhat unhappy with the Piel Frama Wizard case
Here's my comments written in an email sent to Piel Frama.
"Hi,
I just received the 3rd case I’ve ordered from you. I have nothing to complain about regarding the swift delivery as usual.
I have been very happy with my previous 2 well designed cases one for HP iPAQ 4150 the other for my QTEK S100 but I’m not so thrilled this time.
This time I purchased a case for the new QTEK 9100 Smartphone for €60. Although I realise the difficulty in designing a case for this Smartphone model I immediately noticed a major flaw.
I cannot smoothly close my case when I have my headset plugged in at the bottom. I have to force the button in place which leaves my lid at an untidy angle. I would have expected the same solution to this as was found on my last QTEK S100 case where you had a small half circle cut out in the latch that closes the case.
Also I would have preferred the magnet closing mechanism/button of the QTEK S100 case. But as you did not make room (the cut out) for my headset plug on the QTEK 9100 case I guess I have to be grateful for the old school button which means that I can at least force the case closed. I should also be grateful that I did not choose a more expensive material this time. It takes about 10 times as long to close this case compared to my old well designed S100 case, which I’m not very happy about at all as you can imagine.
I guess I’ll have to trim the case design myself (trim the hole for the headset plug which is somewhat askew as well as cutting out a half circle in the closing latch/leather band so that I can close the damn thing, excuse my language) and possibly ruining the case in the process but there’s nothing else to do as I cannot live without headset for my phone.
Unfortunately I was not able to find an end user review in English of this particular Piel Frama case before I ordered (I like to keep informed of what I’m spending my cash on) and still can’t. I’m sure that the first user review must come down hard on this design failure which would have been easily solved and which has been solved before.
I will be better informed next time I order. And I hope you make the necessary design changes to the QTEK 9100 before any end user reviews show up.
Sincerely,"
In addition to what I have said above I should mention that I think I will attach some velcro to the back of my QTEK 9100 (a pity to have to leave glue residue on the device) and the inside of my Piel Frama case so that I don't risk it falling out when using the keyboard. The fit of my case is not so snug as has been implied.
I'll make sure to post any reply I get from Piel Frama.
haz4u - you say the Krusell cases you have fit credit cards - I tried this in teh shop and teh slot is too narrow - have you actually tried this yourself - you may find the slot is just too small...

Dont worry about glue residue, use windex and it will rub right off.
btw windex is the best to use for sticky things, for example gum in carpet(or hair), sticker glue or tint glue left on windows... whatever.. you get the point.

As that thread says, they're cheaper elsewhere. Shame you can't use the keyboard without taking it out of the case.

theres this piel frama case and another company's case that hold the wizard like that from the bottom and allow you to use the keyboard. But i have yet to see an image that shows exactly how its holding on to it. If anyone has used one or seen one, can you please explain to me how its holding on to the device.

Piel Frama claim it uses the tension of the leather of the sides, but in practice I'd suggest the answer is nothing once the strap is undone. With the rounded "hull" shaped case and profile of the Wizard, anyone can see that sideways pressure would force the device out, not in! And, of course, leather stretches over time... It was suggested to Piel Frama that the ideal way would be to use a retaining rod to go into the stylus holder, but looks like they haven't acted on that. So I can't see how any of Piel Frama's claims work in practice. Hence my question about the "promised" review above. Other cases use a strip of clear plastic over the keyboard to hold everything in place.
what would be a good design is a case that replaces the battery cover. The battery cover would be part of the ase and leave the bottom exposed so you can access the thing to take the battery cover off... i think that would hold well. along with the tension ofcouse... maybe if i get my hands on one i'll retrofit the battery cover/door into the case.
i was look for a good case with belt clip
so i bought the official htc case for P6500 on Htc/expansys site
and .. send it back
because it is nothing like it is on the picture
it is not a a belt clip case, it is some kind of "wallet case"
so i search and search....
the only cases that seems to feet is all the universal cases
but no one seems goog enouth
and seem to be imposible to find some horizontal belt clip case
so here is my find
http://www.noreve.com/category/PC+d...tui_cuir_universel_PDA_-_Large_Tradition.html
good quality
just a little large for the p6500, but good
i would like some case that feet the P6500 well , horizontal with belt clip
so until it comes out, this one will make the the job
so if some of you find something better, don't forget to share !
regard
Years ago compaq used to make an expandable fabric case for the 36xx ipaq. I still have mine and it fits the p6500 perfectly. I don't know if it's still possible to acquire it.

I finally found & bought one of these from PDAir
They do two or three of them but this one was what I was after, just something to carry it around & clip on me belt
I have one of the ones that kwburress wrote about and found it to be an excellent piece of workmanship, but, I also found that PDAir have some aluminium cases which are handy as well. Thanks to both Prospro and kwburress for their input...

Hi guys,
I was thinking of buying this case for my phone and wanted to know if anybody already got it.

I've heard some people had problems with signal strength and GPS with similar Cases on The Diamond.
Or would you recommend to get a plastic one like: link
or silico one like: link
or the Shield Protector for the hole device?
Thanks in advance for your replys!
Hello. I'm a great fan of these cases. I have it now on the topaz and had on a p3300. No problem for signals.
Watch out that the model you are looking has no plastic to protect the screen.
Also I would buy it from ebay...
Well i went for the plastic one as it only costed 3,50euros and i can say it is quite good.
Just also a quick heads up, the silicon cases also increase friction soo if u put it into ur pockets, its hard to take it out
Looking for a case for my TF, want only to cover back and sides of the tablet.
And I want it to be non slippery, there are lots of these for cellphones but
where can I find it for the TF?

I haven't seen one yet. Someone else may have, but in my experience, it's hard to make silicone that big without either tearing or stretching pretty quickly. What about a bumper like the iPhone 4, where it only wraps around the sides, but the rear section of it is thick enough that the back of the tablet doesn't touch the table when it's set down? I think it would relieve some of the stress from the silicone, and I could use a stretchier mix to keep it tight. I'd kind of like that, and if enough people are interested I can give it a shot, I don't make cases for a living or anything, but I have some friends with a 3D prototyper and a whole bunch of industrial AB silicone. (Yes, I have weird friends.)
That sound quite interesting, I could be interested in one of those.
When using it now without a case I think it's kinda slippery.
I think one of those would give a better grip of the tablet.
What about dropping it, do you think the silicone will absorb the drop?

As much as it could, obviously. The problem is that it won't be much thicker than a silicone case for a phone, but the device is much heavier. Hence, more inertia. I'll grab some chunks of different mixes and test them by dropping a Transformer analog on them. Just FYI, I'm actually using a really large(and wide) rubber band right now to protect my TF's corners/edges. My belt buckle and watch tend to contact the sides of the TF every once in a while, so it keeps that pretty "gold steel" bezel from scratching. I'll see if I can figure out where I got it from in the meantime.

I'm looking for a case too and found this (it's for netbooks?) but would this be ok for the transformer too? I want to use it for tablet + dock. Are there better suggestions?

If that's anything like the silicone case I got for my PSP, you don't want it. Far too thin to provide any real protection, doesn't fit snugly, looks misshapen and ugly because it's near impossible to get it perfectly straight, and the thing is a dust and lint / hair magnet like you wouldn't believe.
I literally haven't used it at all since the first time I tried it.

Got my Sikai silicone case today.
It looks really nice BUT, it doesn't provide a snug fit.
I'm scared that it will slip out of the cover. Each four sides are very loose,
only the corners offers a snug fit.

According to the site in the picture it is just a 3d rendering of a possible prototype so it is not an actual product yet that you can buy.
I've ordered the brown leather strap today, apparently they make them as the orders come in, I have to wait until next week for the shipping + another 2-3 weeks delivery... ouch... not the cheapest one either, but looks really nice. PS. I have no affiliation, will report what it looks like when it arrives.

Nice waiting.....
Well I got my dispatch confirmation with Russian post tracking number a couple of days ago, it took almost 2 weeks from order to dispatch, and it's supposed to take another 15-20 days to arrive, plus possibly a few days in customs. I love Russian ingenuity and I hope it's worth it but at the moment I'm not impressed.
Wouldn't the leather one with the easy call feature block the heart sensor on the back?
Also, does the brown leather one (second post) have only one hole?
OK guys, so my strap has just arrived, all in all it was actually faster than I anticipated considering the initial delay.
The strap is really nice, and I mean really nice, it's thick leather with nice grain stitched through with yellowish-brown thread. The thread holds the folded over leather where the clasp is mounted but otherwise the stitching is for appearance rather than function and it really does look nice. I like the embossed logo, it adds character and looks good, it should be on both sides, not just on the inside, but of course I suppose one could flip the strap around
The watch goes into the strap exactly the same way as in the original silicone, the difference is, when the band is on the wrist, there is a tiny bit of gap on top and on the bottom of the watch, I think it's almost unnoticeable, but for sure unavoidable because the watch is already a tight fit, anything tighter and it wouldn't go in.
Overall well executed idea with nice craftsmanship, definitely worth the money. Considering the current heat wave it was getting really tough to wear the watch with the silicone strap, I'm very happy with it now.
I'll put up a few pics in a minute.
PS. Here are some of my pics: https://flic.kr/s/aHskhH4X1r
PS2. My wrist is relatively small so I had to punch another hole in the strap, I used the leather punching tool so it's good, if you don't have one and your wrist is on the small side I would probably ask the seller to add another hole.
Nice review and beautifull pictures, thank you
At the moment the master is heavily loaded, the straps will again be available in 1-2 weeks. You can buy will be on my website http://giphone.ru/shop/kozhanyj-remeshok-dlya-samsung-gear-s-2

I picked one of these up off eBay, the black leather one with the metal ring to hold the Gear S. No major review since I'm not a watch guy, but I'll say it's definitely more comfortable and less sweaty than the stock rubber. The only issue I had was getting the screw back into the metal ring to secure the Gear in place - I did some industrial strength swearing during that long process. But I'm not great with small tools like that, so others may find it easier.
