I am struglling to fix a problem on a my hermes where i have flashaed schaps 4.31 wm 6.0 rom and my SPL version is 2.10 and radio version 1.50.
When i try to start the vtap application it says server unavailable and i am thinking its something to do with the proxy connection but found no proxy settings in my mobile.
is this something to do with the rom i have flashed or is it related to vtap can someone guide me before re-flash a another rom?
And also Can i able to flash a tytn tilt/kaiser cooked wm 6.1 rom onto my hermes?

hi, i'm fairly new to upgrading and i have a question
if i wanted my wm5 hermes (8525) to run Schap's WM6 Pro 4.00 ROM, would i need to upgrade from
wm5 > wm6 > schap's?
i'm talking about the one shown in

also, if i upgrade the wm5 to the att wm6 rom (with the 1.54.07.00 radio)
would i lose the radio version as i make the transition to schap's?

sorry to push it even further, but once i flash hardspl, will i be able to change my radio version simply by using the ruuwrapper?
or are there procedures that i must follow in order to go from a lower radio version to a higher radio version and vice versa?
what about with WM6 roms?

You can go directly to Schaps - no need for interim "official" wm6. You can also always flash a radio only using Custom_RUU from Olipro. Most radio-only packages in the forums are bundled with it.

For WM6.1 (Standard) ---> WM5 change, can I follow your procedure of WM6 upgrade?

I have upgrade my charmer in Charmer WM 6.1 by ChrBeck and Cyberdel German and Czech Editon and I have forget to downgrade in wm 5 and now is stuck when is showing the screen with ipl 2.06, spl 2.06.0000, gsm 02.19.21, os 6.1.0.0.

Why not reflash using a stock T-mobile ROM from thier site? (WM5)
yes i have tried, but i can't connet to my pc to flash wm5.
This means you need to use the stock drivers
These, you simply instal in the device manager (update driver).
You'll figure it out.

I have AT&T 8525 with Windows Mobile 5.0
Should I upgrade to WM 6 before installing HARD SPL?
Or upgrade after installing HARD SPL
What does hard spl do?
If you are going to upgrade to AT&T 8525 WM 6 official ROM then no need to do a HARDSPL but if you are going to used WM 6 Cooked ROM then it is a MUST to do a HARDSPL.
AFAIK
HardSPL will allow you to flash your unit with a unofficial release ROM or Cooked ROM, or even the other brand official ROM as long as it is for Hermes.

Alright, got official wm 6.0,
Installing HardSPL, no luck keep getting Error 260, it loses connection with the device for no reason, I'm wondering why there isn't a straight forward Hard-SPL readme, that says how to install it, the instructions are all over the place...

Hi guys, i flashed WM 6.1, but some problem i have. My radio is always lost and searching a network. I tried all WM 6.1 ROM, but still have this problem. on WM5 all is Ok.
My radio Rom: RS00052
ROM: Sonblack 5.2.21009
