heya,
i flashed my atom life with wm6.5 yesterday and now im getting empty shortmessages all the time (from numbers like 3387959384). these messages are not stored in messages folders. if i click DISMISS the are gone.
i had the same problem last year with a PDAVIET rom and i found a solution, but i dunno where. i cannot find it anymore.
can someone help me please?

I have wm2003 4.0.11 cooked and when i get an sms the screen doesnt wake up, it plays the notification, the screen wakes when there is a call though.
any ideas guy's n gal's

i think its just the wm2003, because - if i remember correctly, in the rom versions 3.xxxx the screen would turn on, but not in this one.
This is a feature. A nice one, I think, but someone came up with some software to remove it. Sorry, can't remember any more details, but some searching in Google ought to find it.

mine turns on when an sms is recieved, the problem is it doesnt turn OFF after a few min like it should (like it does if its turned on but recieves no sms). grrr.

ROM 4.01.00 does wake up the screen upon receiving SMS
that's good to know ....

again, be careful. The 4.01.00 file contains RSU upgrade as well. It will put you on RSU 6.24.01 which I 'm not sure it will work for you. Try to extract the ROM upgrade files only using Winzip.

I've just recently upgraded my i-mate to ROM 1.72, but ever since no SMS messages show up in my 'Sent Items'.
I know there is an update for the Radio. Does anyone know if this will correct the problem?
Its not a problem its an option! Just check your sms settings and you will find it!

My first time for posting as you all seem to always post my answers and questions for me. Thanks.
However!
A few days after receiving it I upgraded my UK T-mobile Ameo to TMobile WM6 which is excellent especially with RealVGA (thanks to all the posts on here!).
Every few days I have to do a hard reset as the machine periodically messes up.
Even though my today page tells me I have x emails in email account "fred" and y emails in account "John", when I try to go in it seems my accounts are all lost! So "Fred" and "John" are not there. I have found no way to sort this. I then have to setup the account with a new email name as the old one is in use!
I do not use any backup utilities so they cannot be to blame. And I will have gone from successfully using the email in the morning, a single phone call and then loose email access. This can often be preceeded by me loosing access to all communications including activesync, web access (of course WM6 WIFI does not work correctly with WPA-PSK so I never use WIFI)
I am very tired of re-installing everything and do not use any of the SPB apps as they have always locked up this device.
Any clues anyone? If not how can I get the original FlashRom so I can send back on warranty?

I and others have had the same problem, which can be fixed by using the attached file.
I missed the same problem
I'd just posted the same problem which make me headache.Who can totally solve the problem?
How about the mailAccountRepair.exe?May I run the program every time when I miss the account or only one time ?

T-Mobile has a WM6 ROM available for the Ameo? Or did you flash the HTC WM6?

I'm pretty good at searching for my answers & 95% of the time i find them. but i cant seem to locate the answer to this question.
I can send or forward a text to 1 person at a time with no problem. but i cant forward or send the same text message to multiple people. when i do, only the first person receives the text & no one else... i am running dcd 3.2.5... i have also encountered this before with the other dcd roms...
does anyone have a solution to this?... PLEASE!!!!
You have to put a semi colon in manually before you add each name....
Name ; Name ; Name etc.....
Wouldn't it help you and the forum best to actually elaborate upon your issue in the title? Just a bland question is actually a lottery for trolling of hits on the thread. ...just my two cents..

I do know that the latest rom does not include the latest Arcsoft MMS software. I'm not sure if it effects anything. You definitely have to put the semicolons in between the names. If that fails and you want MMS... download and install the following.... Arcsoft MMS 5.0.31.25

I have the same issue and has nothing to do with semi colons. It auto populates them when you select another contact. Only the first person gets the sms. I posted this in the DcD thread tonight. I came across it this evening when I was trying to send multiple contact sms's tonight. Bummer, but I am sure there is a fix.

So your saying with the latest Arcsoft from GC14 that you cannot send to more than 1 person???
You've installed something that is messing with the SMS.
Now in portrait mode I have no issues with selecting up to 16 people per SMS, and 10 in MMS. In landscape, I have to add the semi-colon after each name manually..... I am on 3.2.5 with the 3.42.50 radio.......

This works... now is there antway to have the semicolons entered automatically when sending a text to multiple people?
Well I founf a fix! quite simple. Go to start settings and input. select word completion and check all three boxes and now the semi colons auto populate. I forgot dcd disables this by default.

I\ve downloaded some cabs this weekend (manilla, skins and so on) and maybe this have caused it. Now I\m hoping that one of you have similar experiences and have a quick fix. If there is something wrong with the cabs i`ve downloaded the forum prob wants to know also.
Really don`t want to reset my hd2 now.
