Yesterday I bought a new bluetooth headset for my phone calls, a Nextlnk Invisio G5 claimed to be the smallest in the world. Works great with my HD.
http://www.nextlink.to/content/us/invisio®_consumer_headsets/invisio®_g5
The selling price averages around £50-60gbp.
If you go to an O2 shop they are displayed between £39 and £69, if you ask them to check the price it comes up on the till at £14.64!!!! even the salesman did not now they were this cheap. I don`t know how long they will last...

im considering purchasing the bluetooth logitech headphones for myself, but everywhere I go, I see that they snap in half after a couple of weeks. Is this true? Does anyone here own a pair, and if so would they recommend them? Thanks.
its true
indeed its true i barely had them a week and they snapped in the middle and hardly work as the cable runs thorugh the plastic frame..
ill be taking it apart to form part of my new wireless speaker transmitter device which will be handy .. !in a way its good for me as i rather to this than try to explain to the import shop why they should give me a refund lol as i know that will be tough!otherwise its 70 quid in the bin ,.. i hate these companies that release sub par appliances and how on earth can it be worth 70 uk pounds when my motorola ad2p set is about the same price and has true bluetooth functionality!?!?(and is very well built in comparison)
logitech bad this itme round .. and i normally like their output ..
moto
thx for the help bro.
i guess ill stick to the moto ht820. anyone have experience with those? ive read they are a little big.
I've had them for about 8 months now, and think they are fine. If you are mindful of the fact that they might break if you are clumsy, then you won't have a problem.
I think the moto ht820s are a solid set of headphones, but they are definitely a bit bulky. I find myself wearing them around my neck as not to look like princess leiah!
MJB
I use Plantronics 590a
the sound is well-balanced, with pretty full and deep bass
I ordered Logi, paid $37 shipped
even if it breaks, I just take the part out and embed into Koss R80
Where did you get those for 37$?

RadioShack has these headphones on clearance for $80 and through June 3rd you can take an additional 50% off that, bringing the price down to $40. I bought these a few months ago and love them. They dont have as much control as the Motorola HS820's (only one action buttion instead of a separate music and telephone one), but the range is amazing. I get a full 300ft, not 30, with my 8125. The HS820's are on clearance for $80 too, but you only get to take off an extra 30%. making them about $56.
For those who have ipods, theres also a device called the naviplay that adds A2DP to the ipod for about $25 after discounts. I picked one of those up today. These are brick and mortar deals, not through the website.
Got a pair
Saw your post, called the local stores. Second store I called had one pair. Charging now...thanks
Great Find!
Do they suffer from the hiss and pop problem that some other headphones have?
I never noticed any popping. I think they sound pretty damn good. There is also a coupon for $10 off a $30+ purchase. Something they're doing for fathers day. Technically not supposed to be combinable with clearance stuff, but you may be able to do it. They usually keep extras in the store. You could go up to a clerk and say you forgot your coupon at home and ask if they'll give you another one or just ring you up with it. That'd bring the total for the headphones down to $30.
I just got em and tested them really quik, there is no hiss or pops that I notice and I have made no changes to the BT stereo settings on my phone! GREAT FIND!
Still Smoking
Cheers everyone,
Thanks for the great advice on the Spider headphones for 40 bucks. I went right out and got myself a pair. For that price, how could you go wrong. Plus, it is at radioshack, so no problems with returns.
I have been researching bluetooth headsets for some time and did see that these were smaller than some of the other headsets. I have worn them for hours at a time and find them very light and comfortable for long time listening.
I did see where some people were having battery charging problems right out of the box, so I was ready for that. I returned 2 pair before getting it all right on the 3rd one. It did not take long to figure out that the battery was having problems. The guy at the store just gave me another one without any hassles or questions.
I have been using the stereo headset that came with my cingualr 8125 for about 8 months and was very tired of the wired headest. I was reading about all of you guys partying with your cordless bluetooth stereo headset and was just waiting for the right time to make the move. I was hearing that some people were having all sorts of problems including gaps in the music.
It was the right time for me, as the new Bluetooth stuff all seems to work almost perfectly. By the Way, I do LOVE my 8125!!! I have watched all of the ROM stuff for months, and finally made the change to a Windows Mobile 6 ROM with the help from all of you cool *****ing Dudes (sorry, I am a California Santa Cruz Surfer) That is just my way of saying thanks!!!
All of the controll functions seem to work on the stereo headset. Once again I have a WM6 ROM with all of the fixes to the bluetooth stuff... I can controll music functions, answer the phone and have the music pause, and then resume after the call without problems.
Once again thanks to everyone that makes this internet site possible. These 8125's are so COOL and have so many possibilities! My next adventure with this phone will be with GPS.
Keep on Chill'in and Grill'in
Hello,
Anyone know a high street retailer/mobile phone shop that will sell the adapter to allow you to put a 3.5mm audio plug into my herm?
Not bothered about price, really could do with it today due to a trip away (therefore online purchase no good).
I've checked a few websites that are also high street shops, but not found any stockists so far.
Thanks,
Jon
just happen to stop by my local att store to see if they had anything i could use. well to my surprise when i asked about headphones the guy went to a shelf and pulled out some OEM style phones for the old tilt and fuze. great thing is they are only 5 bucks plus tax. not bad if i do say so. no hong kong orders for me this week. now if someone finally get a decent silicon case out i will be set. hit your local stores to grab a set while they are still in stock
Nice find...
I actually don't use my phone for music. I live on my iPod...
Thanks for the insight though!
I'm actually still looking for a nice silicon case for my Tilt 2...I just need a solid black case for the back of the phone...
I'll keep an eye out!
I happened to be looking for a pair of headphones this weekend also and found what is probably the same pair at the AT&T store. It was originally for the Tilt and Fuze, and was listed for $30. I walked in and got it for $15 since they are trying to clear out old stock. Not as good as the $5 above, but still happy for something I could not find anywhere else. It has the microUSB connector and a speaker for calls as well.
It finally gave me the chance to use the audio booster option on my phone. I really love the sound now with the equalizer enabled. I was just used to hearing the music but didn't realize how much I was missing until I could adjust those settings. I use my phone for calls, work and music and this made me very happy.

Do these work for the fm feature
Att has the FM software included. Does it require special headsets or will any of these headsets work as the FM antenna.
should be any. as long as it senses there is something connected, it will work.
Just saw a retail version of the G5(T-mobile version) unboxing vid,and unfortunately there were no earphones in the box.Why would LG do that?could other versions include it?
Btw,if anybody wondering if the charger is a quick charger, yes it is.
Bit of a waste of money including them imo, most people don't use them.

I do. In fact I prefer it when they ship good headphones. I got the Sony Noise Cancelling headphones with my Z2 and loved them, made the purchase of the phone a little extract special. I'd agreed if every manufacturer just chucked some cheap ear buds in but most do provide something that will make the phone sound great when listening to music so you know your money is well spent

Because this is a phone that is projected to sell for no more than $300 in 3-4 months from now, and still bring some kind of profit.
I'd elect for the the extra battery and cam over wired headphones(with early purchase) any day
I just picked up my G5 from my local Sprint retailer. The phone does not come with headphones from Sprint either it just has the wall charger and the USB-C adapter. There is a promotion currently going on through LG's website (I would post a link but I can't due to not having enough posts yet) where you are able to get a second battery and cradle by showing your proof of purchase.
