yes, version 4.91. do a search on threads about blackberry and athena words.
Yes, there was a guy that got it working. I think he even got it working on the latest Athena Project ROM by PK. Just an FYI...not sure if the ROM had anything to do with it or not.

yes, change in the windows.nb the word Htc-Athena into HTC-Hermes (appears 2 times) and reflazsh this file. you can have complete instructions in the forums abot bb hacking. it works perfect -and fast...

Thanks for that. Only problem (and I may be really thick here) is that I can't find NBExtract or any of the other tools I need to do the job. I think I will wait for the time being before going to WM6. Being a noob at Rom hacking (but fairly technical generally) i think I need a little more info before i take a working wm5 Athena and hope I can get it working on WN6 with Blackberry connect

I guess this means unlocking the device in order to flash it, unless you use your own CID's image. Has anyone flashed an HTC branded device? If so, could you be kind enough to upload the resulting ROM that includes BBC?

It's very risky to share this class of files. And modificate a rom is very easy, you should try it. It is not difficult.

I got a spare HP 6828 device that i could try this ROM. Anyone manage to put this on rapidshare so i can try it. Will let you know the result.

Ok, thanks a lot man, but has anyone tried this ROM? I mean, is this really WM6 for rw6828? And what language will I have?
I'm still downloading the rar file.....anyone got step by step instructions on how to flash the ROM.
I can't see any instructions...there is only some file named diskimage_ver.nb0...what's going on?

get an original ROM , run the DSUU installer, replace the NBO file located on temporary file (it may be on local setting/username/temp or windows/temp..just try to find it) then run installation

The updating of HP ROM is not the same as the Atom. After downloading the original RUU, run the update, and then cancel it when you see the Welcome page. The files will be installed on a specific directory C:\iPAQ\SP34074
Unlike the Atom, the HP ROM file is 1.01.03_rw68x8_diskimage_WWE_sign.nbf
I am just surprised that the WM6 ROM file for download is named diskimage_ver.nb0 when in fact this is the name for the Atom ROM file. I haven't check this file though if it's really for HP.
edit: The original HP RUU requires a signed ROM file. I think you guys need a separate RUU that does not required signed files; otherwise, this ROM download is useless to you.

after downloading this file, I can say only that probably this is the same file as the ROM image of Atom...

I don't have problems downloading from most sites except the location of this file. I've tried a lot of times but it breaks off at 15%!

Anyone got the original T-Mobile Uk rom they could share?
To be honest mate unless someone has dumped the rom you will be very lucky to find it!
T-Mobile rarely release the ROMs and generally the Ship ROM will appear along side the updated ROM (probably WM 6.1 Update when it arrives).

I can search and can see that... but i can not find a T-Mobile Uk rom hence the post.
I have dumped the RAW files but am having grief rebuilding on my Vista box (XP partition died yesterday). I can up them somewhere if someone else wants to rebuild the rom.

Hi Randomelements there is a problem in part02.raw imgfsToDump gives a problem
Unhandeled exception in DumpImageData so i cant create a newos.nb and therefore i cannot build the rom sorry but i tryed everything but this seems to be a problem i cannot find a way that i go round it mayby somebody else has the solution @Random maybe you post the link to your .raw files i will not do this without your permission, cheers

Update!
!Aman! cooked a ROM with the RAWs of my Vodafone ROM.
It is uploaded on my Server for fast download.
This ROM is not tested yet!
This was my first request:
I am about to secure my Vodafone ROM from my german HTC Topaz.
I tried to download the kitchen, but I get errors. What could be the reason for it?
I finished the 4 raw-Parts and now I am downloading the original HTC Rom to use the nbh and cook it.
Maybe anybody else can tell me if the download is broken or I am wrong with anythhing?

i've not used this kitchen. but kaiser kitchen will also let u make NBH from your dump files.

Thought I just can catch 2 things at once. Having the Vodafone ROM secure in case of defect (sending back to supplier only possible with original ROM) and supplying missing Vodafone ROM to the wikipart of xda-developers.

The Raws are extracted already, but I still do not really know how it works to cook the whole thing and create a full rom. I am reading and reading, but not everything is clear to me yet.
There are lots of descriptions and howto´s, most of them are not really detailed and clear for beginners.
If anyone is very good at cooking roms, maybe he could help. I can upload the raws.
Otherwise this will take much more time I think.

Did you change anything or just cook the original Vodafone Germany ROM?
If no changes, I will put it in the shipped ROM WIKI page.
i didnt change anything inside it. but still u can't call it as a shipped ROM coz it can't be flashed without an HSPL. so u can make a separate category for Dumped Original ROMs
PS: it still needs to be tested.

Sorry if you are confused but I really download the file twice and still the same errors, I'm not gonna use your kitchen because my Niki is dead so if I have time I extract all the files one by one to see which file gives me the error.

Hi, sun_dream, discovered the problems of your zip files.
The problem is that you are using Chinese and my pc can't handle it, the files that gave me the error are:
1. DDI.dll
2. rilphone.dll
3. *.bat
That's all, but if you ignore the errors the kitchen works.

sun_dream is like a sphinx. No interact, says little. Time ago he made a rom for nike plenty of bugs but very promising but not interacted did not say anything in posts. Never corrected the bugs and disappeared until now. He is lika an sphinx

Haha, I know, I was very surprised he answered my question, about his rom, I know there where some bugs but the rom was great.
BTW I get his kitchen working and already made a rom with it, for now only had some problems with the bootscreen and the allignmentscreen and the known issue with Mega camera, but the other camera works perfect.
So I only can say: THANKS sun_dream.

点讯肯定是支持的，不过不推荐这个rom，bug很多，马尼拉也不好看
如果用英文rom的就用salvy c83那个吧
希望sun dream能做出更好的
