Anybody know if the LCD for a Touch Pro (Raphael 100) is compatible with the one of a AT&T Fuze (Raphael 110)?
I broke my LCD and am looking at parts for repairing it (full service comes at 180$ but you can buy the LCD/Digitizer off ebay for less than 80$) but only the HTC Touch Pro version is advertised.
Thanks in advance for any pointer.
UM
found myself a fix.
Is this as simple as replacing the screen? meaning not technical could do it?
i tried to replace my screen and lcd and i broke a tiny little wire/circuit. so i was out 75 bucks just like that. buy one off ebay, its so much easier. replacing the screen is not a trivial task.
Thanks will consider that.

Hi I have a problem, i have a HTC p4350 and I have a screen but without digitizer. Someone has a guide how to mount the digitizer ? Nowhere I can not find anything. Can even impose a digitizer to LCD, or I need to buy the entire LCD ? I have to buy a new LCD with digitizer?
Sorry for my bad english, I used google translator
Well, in most cases buying the LCD and digitizer together altogether assembled is actually cheaper than just buying one or the other. I would hit up ebay and see what you can find.
No but you can buy the same digitizer for $ 7 and the entire LCD for $50 so the difference I do not know whether it is easy to exchange the digitezer.
here is a link to the video i used to replace mine http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aN6cKRM2F1M, its actually not too hard once you have watched the video a few times BEFORE you start
oh and i dont know about any place else but you can buy a lcd/digitizer combo with tools for about $40.00 US on ebay just put "lcd digitizer tmobile wing" in the search engine
hope this is helpful
here is a 3 part series on replacing the lcd,

LCD/Digitizers are about $35 to $40 with tools on ebay and are quite simple to replace. Just watch the video on youtube and follow their lead.
The digitizer is soldered to back of the lcd , it is very difficult , just buy a complete lcd screen on ebay for 28 bucks .

can someone link me to a trustworthy Ebay seller for a LCD?
Hi all
I dont know if its my Display that is broken or the plastik that is on it.
Can someone please help me with that ?
Thanks for the Help
as far as I know plastic doesn't really break. I'm not sure, but I'd say the glass of the LCD is broken.
your display is broken.
there is a guide of how to change it, but its quite complicated.
if you don't have insurance it will be probably cheaper to buy an HD2 on internet....

It's true, LCD's are quite expensive, if you can, go for HD2 or similiar.
Does the display light or shows any image?
100% the touchscreen is broke (it is made out of 3 layers, 2 plastic layers and one glass layer which is about 1 mm thick- this one breaks). Also, the lcd underneath might also be broken, as in your photos I'm seeing some tiny black lines under the touchscreen, correct me if I'm wrong.
On ebay, the cheapest pre-assembled lcd+touch unit costs about 70 $.
you should find pre assambled screen and lcd, easier to install
there are guide on vimeo on how to diassemble and reassemble Touch HD, make sure
u only play around with what suggested, not anything else..
good luck
Not really sure where I should be posting this question. This forum seemed the most appropriate though.
Looking for a replacement for my Evo 3d, yet another phone I have owned where the screen has cracked. I have ordered the parts to replace the Digitizer and LCD as there is currently a fairly high resale value for this phone (compared to how much I paid for it)
So I have been looking for a phone that is a step up hardware wise and one that has a reasonably easy to replace digitizer or where the digitizer and lcd are not stupid money. ie htc one x 55 GBP compared to S3 @ 140 GBP
Ideally I want one where the digitizer can be easily replaced, but having looked it seems that they getting a much stronger bond to the LCD forcing you to get the LCD as well.
At the moment it's the HTC one x, non replaceable battery is making me want to look elsewhere though.
Any thoughts as to what would be suitable?
I plan on buying a new digitizer to replace the one on my phone since I manged to scratch it just before my screen protector arrived (there was a backlog of undelivered parcels at my post office, my screen protector should have been there BEFORE my phone -.-)
I'm pretty comfortable with the process of replacing the digitizer, but I've got a quick question (maybe not so quick to be honest.)
We should have all seen (and most likely drooled over) the new colours being released, I was wondering if a digitizer from the US Sprint or Verizon variants of the s3 would fit my uk/international s3? I'd love to get my hands on the silver digitizer and back plate, but I don't want to fork out £200 to find out it doesn't fit!
Is there anyone who could shed some light on this? would carrier specific radios be located on the back of the digitizer or something?
Cheers!
If you buy a new digitiser ..... Don't throw the old one ...I will buy it from you..

Hi everyone!
I must replace a lcd and digitizer in my htc desire x. I can't afford original one. Have You tried some unoriginal spare parts that costs around 50-70$?
What rules should i follow to chose the one that will be working?
Can you send me some links you think will be good so i know what should i been looking for?
Many ppl says the spare parts are separating (lcd from digitizer) or not working at all and i'm really concern about that happens to me...
Thanks for help in advance
Best regards
Did you already read this one: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2443059
There I had a similar problem. I replaced the whole unit for less than 40 €. The item I bought was from here: http://www.parts4repair.com/complete-screen-assembly-with-lgp-for-htc-desire-x-t328e/
The item took a long time to arrive (approx two-three weeks, depends on where you live, it's sent from Singapore and I live in Germany). But I managed to replace it.
This is it LCD Display + Touch Screen Digitizer
