my friend has an o2 xda atom..and he upgraded to WM 6 (from WM 5,default)..
but, the wi-fi not work corectly..
so, how to downgrade from WM6 to WM 5? step by step please? i'm newbie with pda phone...

Why dont you try a different WM6 ROM? it might just be a flaw on the ROM itself...

The athena 6.1 ROM you found here is just a preview.
You have to learn:
1) How to SUPERCID your device (hardspl 3d)
2) How to flash a unofficial ROM (and Pro and Con of RealVGA, and language pack, look into the 3d)
3) At that time may be an unofficial WWE 6.1 ROM will be OUT
P.S. WWE means Worldwide English, I think there aren't unofficial ITALIAN Athena ROM
Flashing rom
I wouldn't advice you to do so. Cooking and flashing the rom is not so easy like cooking spaghetti. The worst that can happen is that if you are not careful you will brick your device and make it useless.
The best thing to do is not doing anything with it. Flashing the rom is serious business.

Have you look for it on WIKI ???
if u want to back to the original wm 5 from o2, then u have to download XDA Atom Exec Official Windows Mobile 5 ROM, refers to WIKI.
Choose one of the ROMs, e.g : Xda-Atom-Exec-ENG-20060721-MOT0822.exe
Upgrade it using DSUU, refers to WIKI
Done, u'll get back to your WM5.0 again.

I had XDA Orbit
where it goes to first screen that say O2 Welcome and
IPL 1.25.0001
SPL 1.25.0000
GSM 02.67.90
OS 1.25.0.0
then it goes to 2nd Green Screen where it says windows mobile and direct Push Technology
and again goes blank. Happens everytime i try to boot it up.
Any suggestions what should i do.

The original one (WM5), I supposed.

few hours ago i downgraded my device (atom black) from wm 6.5 to wm 6.1 realese 1 and after upgrade i can't launch o2 media plus.
can somebody explain how to fix it and can i downgrade my device to wm 5 shipped rom and how to downgrade ? need fast response

did you perform hard reset? if still doesn't work try to reflash again using 6.1. downgrading to wm5 is the same process like how you downgrade to 6.1.

i want to dwongrade to ship rom wm 5, must i go to bootloader then i install using dsuu or just plug it and follow dsuu?
