After a normal reset my phone starts with the 3colored screen (bootloader) i tried to make a hard spl to flash a new rom but it doesn´t work
the HardSPL flashing is very fast an after it the bootloader shows me:
IPL:2.58.0001
SPL: 2.58.0001

I tried every thing... I tried NVID, Lazytool,.. nothing works..
At NVID an error at 95%

Can anyone please post a guide on how to flash Hard-SPL onto my HTC TYTN.
The guide for installing Hard-SPL onto the HERMES is not available anymore, and i am EXTREMELY confused about what im doing, and i am afraid i will brick my phone if i do something wrong.

Read the sticky, first post on this page.
It really isn't hard to do. But be sure you know what you are doing btw. SO read the sticky!
Basically you just download the flavor of Hard SPL you want (I used 2.10 which I can recommend, very easy to downgrade to factory SPL again as I just learned!).
After download unzip the folder and run the RUUWrapper. Follow instructions exactly, do nout unplug your device etc. and it should work like a charm. It takes about 1 minute!
If you don't know what you are doing or you are still doubting, wait for Mr Vanx site to come online again or don't flash. There is always a risk you screw up and end with a $500 brick.
So use at your own risk!

hi guys have tried to update mine today on a jasjam it connects sys it updating but starts at 0% then just jumps to 100% and says flash finished but when i restart the phone it still has the same loader what am i doing wrong i want to update it from windows 5 to windows 6 using crc-9 but don't want to update till i do the loader any help from you guys would be great

start the device in bootloader, what is displayed?
Mine is doing the exact same thing. Starts at 0% and jumps to 100% and says it is done, but it has done nothing.

the SPL flash is VERY quick.
I'll ask YOU this aswell, put your device into bootloader mode and tell us what it says.

thanks for your reply after checking the bootloader it has changed to 2.10 olie it did it so fast i thought it had failed will check properly next time and have successfully flashed it to crc 9 and it runs great thanks for all the help

I appreciate your reply Mr. Vanx. Same as with puca, I put my phone into the bootloader mode and it does indeed show the correct 2.10 Olipro version. This is the 3rd 8525 I have had and I could have SWORN it took much longer on the first 2. Even the update from WM5 to WM6 seemed to take much less time with this particular phone. Guess I shouldn't really complain
Downgrade Error 260
Hi Mr Vanx I have followed your guide to downgrade my current SSPL (2.10 Olipro) to SSPL (1.11). But I keep getting error 260. I have followed guide step by step.
I have even tried flashing from SD-Card (by renaming to HERMING.nbh). Process runs successfully, but nothing happens.
Its still showing SSPL-2.10 Olipro in bootloader. Am I missing anything?

can some one point me to the guide. I am facing a NO GSM problem on vodafone VPA 1605 with following config:
ROM Version: 1.20.161.6
Radio: 1.03.06.00
CID: VODAP001
Bootloader: 1.04
I do not see the radio version or the IMEI. So I would like to do a HARDSPLv7 followed by Radio ROM update to 1.06.00.10. I hope this will work. Seniors may help with their sggestion.
Can someone help me with the guide to HARDSPL as I am doing it for the first time and the guides are not available at MR Vanx site nor can I locate the sticky?

I have an I-mate 9502 but my problem is for pocket pc generaly.
I installed a program for sound, When I do a soft reset it hangs on Blue Imate page and didn't boot.
I tried to hard reset but it dosen't worked too(I know hard reset of it, is Green+FN+Power button) but it don't work, Also I tried to install a fresh Rom but it need to loud windows.
Please help how to hard reset it.

After Flashed with the new ROM, My Device is now stuck in iMate Blue Screen Logo....!!!
But Don't worry Guys...it can be solved with manually hard Reset...
1. Remove battery and reinsert (to make sure the phone is off).
2. Hold down Fn and the Green button (with the phone icon on it) and press the power button.
3. You will see the white hard reset option screen almost immediately. Press the Left Soft Key to hard reset.

I have a Niki100 that can't boot, it stops in the screen that shows "smart mobility" and at the bottom the info in red letters.

I can boot it to the 3 colors screen, when connec't the cable at the white stripe it changes from serial to usb, but can't flash any rom it stops at 0% with error! At this screen it shows:

Already tried several official rom's some gives me ID error because it's locked to vodafone, but also tried an Vodafone spanish rom and got update error.
From the versions it's something wrong? It's not my pda I'm used to work with an Prophet, I don't know niki's spl, hard spl, etc... stuff...

Do a hard reset, if it boots then do hardspl and after flash rom of your choice.
Still the same! This is a rom problem...
Have you read any of the threads about flashing????; you have to HardSpl first your device before anything else, then the CID Unlock and then you can flash any ROM; (I recomend HardSpl 1.22)

I've "hardspl" my device before ... but now no access at all to the device
it's stock on the HTC logo...
I can't go to the rainbow boot ... the PC don't see it

I get the pda already at this state... I didn't do anything yet to him!

I too tried many options... nothing working....
Still i have an option left, i heard that you can boot ROM from SD Card, this may help us to proceed further(avoid boot issues)... Let me try and update you

Already try the sd method and some roms tells wrong vendor other (Vodafone) just stays at "loading..."
No boot, the device is hung, no way out ...

I have the same issue:
after I have flashed new Insomnia 3.01 ROM,
the phone will not install any software first and than freezed.
After I have take the battery out and put it on again,
device has stopped responding and boots no more, shows HTC Logo with
radio version etc.
Could anybody help me?

I have a big problem. I tried to flash HardSPL (via MemoryStick) on my raphael. After the flash process, raphael restart, but it starten with the tricolor screen and it shows me dthe massage "Upgrade ROM code error, please try again".
and a few seconds later raphael starts the proces again, after 3-4 tryouts the screen freez and now i can nothin do.
can someone help me?

We need more info...
Is your phone CDMA or GSM?
Did you flash HardSPL from XDA?
Can you enter the boot screen and try to reflash the Hard SPL?
Problem #1 is that you need to flash hard spl off of a pc through a usb cable. Like it says in the thread (assuming you read it), you can't flash hard spl off of an sd card.
Try soft resetting, and see if the phone boots up normally. Did you flash the correct hard spl (incorrectly)? If you used a hard spl from the wrong device, the game may be over. My advice is to download the proper hard spl and to flash it according to the instructions in the thread.

I put in to my wizard Repair Rom Love , and here there is a problem because, like after uploading the rom should flit here after uploading the RRU there is a 3-color screen (bootloader) .. I try load Polishrom after Love Rom from the G4, but orange is the same after the reboot the bootloader appears and nothing ... how to disable the wizard and turn a black screen, sometimes there just blinks and so .. right after Love made hard reset and nothing ..
Someone help with this problem?Please

U need to flash SPL again with a RUU utility..after flashing spl try normal ROM flashing method
I have flashed my qtek s200 with ``RUU-Prophet-AKU2.2-2.20-2.47.21-Jester-r1 `` all goes perfect after update completes bootloader screen appears i tried soft reset as well as hardspl but nothing works than i tried ruu nvid rom but it also bring no result. I also tried prophet recovery but the phone is still at bootloader.I got an suggestion to hardspl the phone & than update but after hardspl by nvid software the phone do not show any detuction witk computer..
Plz help if any one can....
