What the F***
I never noticed anything like that. But I will look for it instantly when I come home from work.
But did you buy the phone from an official dealer? Then it would be really weird if it's a fake...
The charger in the 2nd picture looks like a genuine htc charger, my HD's charger looks exactly the same, the label is the same, with different s/n. But no led/logo on the other side, nothing indicates that is being plugged in.
Mine has no light up at all on it and the other halfs diamond charger lights up in bright white the HTC Logo.
That looks to have has a blue LED Retrofitted (Due to poor light distribution) and maybe a custom cover?
Where did the phone come from? Does the HD look like a storm??? (Sorry bad joke....)
If it is second hand he may have modified the charger..
Mine has no light too...
I do not think yours is fake...but is not an HTC charger.
I guess it was a misunderstanding while boxing your device...keep im mind that HTC manufactures a bunch of different brands...
And finally, I do not think there will be problems with this blackberry's charger.

Don't worry, this should be a genuine one. I guess this is a Chinese (mainland) version of HTC TOUCH HD charger. There is no so called official 'HTC TOUCH HD' in mainland China simply because officially WIFI is banned in Chinese mobile phones. You can see the name 'DOPOD' on the charger, which is another band of htc products in mainland China.
Dude! That's actually awesome! I'd love that if I had a blackberry! Buy another one and sell this one on eBay! XD Or better yet, try to do the same thing with the htc logo!
call me a sceptic but this looks like a simple case of 'Photoshop' lol
and if its not the only thing you need to know the answer to is:
Does it charge the HD....?
YES = no worries, keep using it and admire the blue light!
NO = its fake..are you sure you have a genuine HD too?
oohhh shiny

http://cgi.ebay.com/USB-Cradle-Dock...Accessories?hash=item1c0fd05e1b#ht_3640wt_972
Has anyone purchased this package? Its a USB cradle dock charger, car charger and extra battery. Its a little on the cheap side at $22 dollars for all your getting not to mention free shipping which is why im a little scepticle. I need a dock though and an extra battery so i wanted opinions/feedback first. Also, is that an extended battery or is it the same specs/mAh as a stock battery? That car charger looks like junk, i already have an OEM Motorola one though so i dont care about that...Good to have a backup though i guess just incase. Let me know whats up folks.
Opinion
For $22 dollars, its not a bad deal but I would be nervous about putting a cheap battery in my phone. Leakage or worse.
The battery is actually pretty good quality, it's not horribly bad or anything. I bought that after my stock battery began to fail on me (couldn't hold charge, etc.) The battery holds its charge quite well, and i'm not too concerned about it leaking or anything. Although, my battery does fit quite tightly into the space, a lot tighter than the stock g1 battery.
I have one if these and I like the dock. Haven't really used the battery. I had just bought a replacement battery for my G1. You don't just drop the phone in the dock. It takes a little manuevering sometimes to get the connecter in the bottom of the G1.
The dock with the "Bedside" app from the market makes a very good alarm clock.
i wish they made this in white
I don't have a car and I don't like dinky cheap batteries. So I went a bought a piano black dock for the g1. It's pretty nice cause it's got 2 usb slots (1 for power and the other for data) and a 3.5mm jack on the back and it can charge a second battery. I like it a lot.
The only problem I had with it was the fact that I had to plug in the stock headset mic thingy in order to have phone call capabilities while device was plugged into dock with speakers also plugged in.
Not that bad of a problem and it works great.
Just do an ebay search for Piano black dock g1...
oops i goofedd
Has anybody seen the new dock for sale? All I find are pictures and articles about it.
Found it:

The HTC landscape dock seems nice. In the past I bought something similar for my HD2. A portrait deluxe cradle by KiDiGi. This model by htc seems similar to the model on the KiDiGi website. Inquired if a deluxe model for the Titan is in the pipeline.
I found a dock on ebay and ordered it.
http://www.ebay.nl/itm/NEW-BLACK-SI...ories_MobilePhoneChargers&hash=item1c2076f37c
Do you receive your dock ?
with this no official docking station When you plug the phone. Is that lauching directly the htc software dock mode ? ( if the sofware option box is checked )
thanks in advance
I thought the HTC Dock automaticly fired up the dock mode from the phone when plugged in.
yes i think too but how it's work ?
Tilt position ?? : i test to plug the titan with standard micro usb with the approx position of the phone when it should be plugged to the dock = doesn't work
Magnet in the dock ??
specific micro usb dock connection ??
regards
The exspansys site says "Due Friday 16th December". Bummer.

handtec have it in stock now, I've just ordered one to try to put my Sensation XL in
http://www.handtec.co.uk/product.php/5646/htc-titan-desktop-cradle--cr-s600-
Microsoft Stores have them
I picked one up just before New Years. I was in tonight and they had well over 15 in stock (Century City, CA). Dock mode does start automatically if you turn that setting on in the Dock Mode app itself. I personally like Night Stand Clock (green led) because you can make it darker or lighter with a swipe of the finger up/down the screen, much easier in the dark half asleep than looking for a little button.
Titan Dock
You wouldn't happen to recall the SKU or stock # or whatever for that dock at the MS Store would you?
I found the dock with battery charger on ebay for >$5 each. I bought 4 of them. I think the seller saw the mistake and upped the price, as they are <$20 each now.
I think I got lucky...

I've tried having a look around and I can't find a desk charger/cradle for the Lumia 800, I know the hinged door cover makes it hard but does anyone know of one that is compatible?
Thanks!
I bought this N9 charger and it works well:

Unfortunately, it's out of stock on amazon but may be available in UK

Thanks, I'll have a look at it. Where is the micro usb socket on the n9? How does this dock deal with the open door on the 800?
Same place, top left. The N9 & Lumia 800 have the same body (barring camera button and flash LED placement).

Awesome, thanks! I was a bit worried that the phone would have to be put upside down in the cradle.
I'm off to see I can find it in stock somewhere.
That only stands the phone up, the USB charger goes in the top as normal. You'd be better off (and save money) by just leaning it against something while it's charging.
It's not the same as an iPhone dock (or some HTC docks) which connect the phone directly to a charger when you place it in the dock.

htc rhyme has connectors on the back... thats what i call dock
I say, this is a marvelous find on my behalf, I was getting to the notion that I may just have to leave my phone in a horizontal position on my desk for the rest of eternity.

So I've had my tab since May the 12th (I just looked) and the cable is coming apart by the tablet end. I am never hard on it so I'm rather annoyed.
I went to BestBuy and those idiots told me no way no how was I getting one from anyone but Samsung. (Sure... kids) They made me so annoyed I looked at the receipt date and looked up the policy in the store. I was going to return the tablet just to get a new cable. (Been over 30 days)
Went to Walmart and they sell the cable+usb charging brick for $49.97. No way!
Anyone else had a problem with the cable?

It still works... But for how long?
They are plentiful and cheap on eBay. I have like 8.

This is the one I just got today in the mail

in case of zombie apocalypse, break glass.... then swing ;-)
the cables are very cheap and any high current charger seems to work ok, at least the ones for phones that require some kind of short or resistor across the USB data lines.

I bought a couple of these on the 1st and received them today. Branded Samsung and look just like the one I got with my Tab.

I bought one that can both sync and charge (with switch) in the shop at my area : http://goo.gl/UQUdU and it cost me about $2, maybe you can try at dealextreme or other online shop based on hk (they're usually cheap).
Yeah I have the same problem with you. This cable is real crap. It is still working and charging. But when it comes to connecting to pc it is just refuse to work.
Sent from my GT-P5100 using Tapatalk 2
Your picture reminds me of my good old iPhone 3Gs-times. There the cable had this on both sides
Well I finally got around to buying another cable. Mine got to where it would charge really slow. Take 10 hours without using it to fully charge it.
I bought one from Tiger Direct. Been buying from them for 15+ years. Its made by iLuv. Works so good. Charges it in fast mode like its supposed to! Its built much better than the stock cable. I think its going to last.

Just got this wireless charger from Tronsmart and I figured I'd do a review on it! Here's some pics first:

As you can see, I've already got the Samsung stand wireless charger which I use daily, but I wanted to try out something else for desk usage as well.
This charger works as it says, and it definitely works with fast charging. However, only thing to note here is that the charger itself only comes with a USB cable; you must provide the charging block yourself...and because of this, you have to use a Quickcharger in order to get the fast wireless charging out of it. No big deal, just plug it into your charging block that came with your S7 and you're fine.
In terms of temperature, the Samsung stand charger has a little fan built in to help dissipate heat. When I used the Samsung charger, I've heard it kick on before (it's very low) and the charger itself never really got hot or anything.
As you can imagine with how compact the Tronsmart charger is, there's no fan inside. At first this worried me a bit, but after using it with quick charging, I noticed it doesn't seem to get warm or have any issues with it. I've been testing it with my S7, but I will continue to do further testing with a Note 5 as well.
In terms of style, it's not bad to look at. It's a nice flat thin little piece, and the top has some rubber on it to help secure the phone in place. This is nice compared to my old Nokia one which was just hard plastic and the phone would slide all over.
It has green/blue LED in it, but this is where I'm not too crazy. The blue LED is always on to show it has power going to it. No other wireless charger I've used has an LED to indicate power, and I don't like it because if I'm sleeping at night and not using wireless charging, that blue light (no matter how faint) annoys me; i'm just one of those people that need to sleep in the dark!
All in all though, this is a nice charger for half the price of the Samsung charger. I hope in the future they make a stand charger though, as it's much easier to see/use at night when I want to simply turn it on real quick to check the time. For that reason, the Samsung charger will remain as my standard daily, but the Tronsmart charger will remain on my desk next to my PC for day time charging.
They're selling on Amazon here:
