Does anyone know if it is possible to upgrade the 5/28/09 update with a htc fuze prototype. I have a fuze that is unlocked with tmobile. I tried to download it with my serial number and it didnt let me. It said wrong device. If anyone has a serial number can u pm me. thx

Why don't you give it a try? There are several mirrors for the official ROM posted in the ROM thread. I don't see any reason it wouldn't work.

this is not official, because when i tried to installed on my device (HTC S411) it showed me INVALID CERTIFICATE... there is another official rom for this? or maybe this is possible to convet to VALID CERTIFICATE...
there's no way of signing roms for the startrek, and being that the rom for the s411 is rebuilt from a rom dump........i'm guessing you need to use the softspl in order to flash it. u *may* not need to supercid, but i think its better if you do.

try to e-mail to your national HTC support with describing a situation, useless of local htc service center, and ask them for a ship rom for htc s411 good luck

Yup...sadly it's HK, I know a EU serial....but if we can get someone to mirror it everyone can use it
My Danish serial did not work either.

i have a weird situation, a customer of mine has an unlcoked fuze with a generic version, he wanna use it with AT&T, unfortuntely there is no label on the back with a serial number so i can download the ROM from the HTC site. and i cant find it on the ftp site, would anyone pls upoload it to rapidshare.

Did you look in the Roms section of this forum? They usually have a thread stickied with stock roms. I assume you are looking for stock since I would hope you know the incredible cooked roms available on this site.

I have a t-mobile(UK) phone & it won't accept it, i need a serial No. for a standard phone, the one u buy from htc itself without any carrier ROM.
I had a serial No. b4, found it on 1 of the threads & it worked jst cant find the thread

at first it sounded like the thread i'm lookin for but its nt , i dnt really need the ROM file itself i only need an accepted serial No. i.e not a carrier device e.g t-mobile.
it was in the official ROM updates and the admin i believe put a few serial numbers & he suggested to use them if we have a carrier device to be able to download the ROM from htc's site.

OK, here's the thing...I was donated a HTC Pro Three device with 320mbRAM...I know it's a pre-release device, but I was wondering, since I can't find anything about it here, is there a way of upgrading ROM, becausse official HTC site won't accept my S/N as it is a prototype device...I would like a ROM upgrade, but this is holding me back... Or would it work for someone to send me a ragular S/N of a retail HD2 so I can download official ROMs-would those ROMs work on my device, or are there some special ROMs for this pre-release device?

AFAIK, you can use custom ROMs on your device with no problem, as it's the ROM size that's an issue, not RAM (there could be more to it than that though).
