I use this ROM http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=558691 and I bought a RC E100.
My problem is that it only works with WMP and not with TouchFlo or FMRadio. I tried to install the Driver but the setup says that the driver is already installed. Does anyone have the cab version for this or can say where the installer places the cab on HDD? (Maybe someone could copy the original files from TD2 stock rom?)
Call, End are working normal,

MUTE doensn't work at all.

It works on my TD2. I once had a problem with this though on my Diamond (1). This was caused by using Touch Flo Detacher though. Are you using something similar?
i've got the same problem with my bluetooth headset (call and phonebook access work, the rest jumps to WMP.
I'm fairly certain it's a custom ROM thing. (unless the chef specifically made sure to keep external music input working for Touch Flo and not WMP)
i am very interested if there is a fix for this.
it is indeed a bug with custom roms, the official 6.5 ROM works perfectly with the RC E100 on my diamond 2. and so do all custom rom which does NOT use Sense. Manila 2.1 worked with alle custom roms i had, unfortunately the chefs dont care about this so ill stick with stock 6.5 rom, btw.. the mediaplayer isnt THAT bad to use with the RC E100 - its just ugly.

Hi,
I own a Sony MW600 that I used to connect to a SonyEricsson Android 1.6. recently I upgraded to the HTC Desire Z (A2.2) and what a surprise to realize that even if some information are sent the name of the caller or the title of the song played are not sent to the receiver.
It seems this problem is due to the fact that Google downgraded the version of the AVRCP in 2.X to 1.0 while it was 1.3 in A1.6
Is there a way to create a custom ROM or include in the CM Roms the latest version of the AVRCP libraries to allow full data exchange between bluetooth devices (like a remote, a watch, a car stereo...)
Thanks!
C.
+1 for this thread
Threadstarter,
The issue was that android didn't support avrcp 1.x
The question I have is does ICS support AVRCP 1.4
Hello @ all
I have the same Headset for my rooted LG O3D (off 2.3.5/EU).
Does anyone has an idea how to install the newer AVRCP version?
Or is there any possibility to export it from CM7?
Greetings
I have TomTom Navigator 7.913(9189) on my Leo. It is a custom ROM using the latest shipping base & packages (3.14) and WM 6.5.3 (5.2.23152). I have a Bluetooth carkit (XCarLink) and the pairing is set up OK as far as I can see. The XCarLink has Hands-free and Stereo Audio. Playing music is fine, however the audio from TomTom is at maximum and whatever I change the volume to in TomTom it stays the same. It is so bad that there is clipping. I have changed the 'Link volume to car speed' to enabled and disabled and there is no difference.
I had the same version (same .CAB) on my Blackstone and the audio worked perfectly on this.
Any ideas?
Andy
Hi,
had a similar problem with the Mobile Navigator
I think it has something to do with HTC's own Bluetooth stack.
Strangely, it was not at all tested Costumrom's
One solution I have not found yet.
Hi!
This is just to let you know taht you are not alone. I got the very same problem on my HD2, Jabra connector and Navigator.
The problem apears just using blutooth, using the earphone jack it works flaweless.
I would appreciate any help.
Thanks
Gabriel
After a lot of searching I now understand that the BT stack on the HD2 is the Widcomm/Broadcom BT stack and this is the issue. On the Blackstone its the MS BT stack. Apparently the Broadcom stack doesn't support volume control - this is supposedly a function of the bluetooth audio device and the volume must be controlled by it. Its not part of the BT standard if I am to believe other posts? This is obviously different from how the MS stack worked as this worked perfectly on my Blackstone.
I did some research into maybe getting the MS stack transplanted back into the HD2 ROM but I never got very far with it - I assume its possible as the Windows Phone 7 ROMs for the HD2 have the MS BT Stack don't they? Plus all the HD2 Android ROMs using other drivers for the BT?

So I am running cleanrom 1.7 on the rezound and i have a jvc kw-xr810 car stereo. Now the question is to display the audio via Bluetooth on my jvc unit from my rezound, I need the rom to support avrcp 1.3. I understand cm7/9 have this included, which indeed works, because my touchpad with cm9 works great with it! So is there a solution to this?
