This is all you'll need to know:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=508084
Also, I too recommend dcd's ROM for a stripped version of 6.5. I tried one of the older ones and it was really quick!
If you need any extra help, feel free to pm me whenever and i'll be glad to elaborate on any parts of the process.

Is anyone cooking Wizard's "WM6 Official Release MS 10.0.15342.0" rom for Prophet?
It seems to be the fastest and more stable ROM available so far. And given that it has new WIFI drivers, maybe it fixes the bug that WIFI only turns on sometimes.
There are also reports that this rom gives alot more battery time then the former ones.
Regards.
Oooo.. I'd like to find out the compatibility of this with Prophet too.. this sounds yummy. let's get cooking!

I am happy that this never ending story stills like that
As soon as i can i will try to introduce myself in this discipline (cooking) after being an exigent gourmet!
What about "PDAVIET 10.0.15342.0".
That would be nice.

YEah, it is just a matter of time. The most difficult part in my opinion will be to find the correct registry changes to make it fly. we don't want our prophet walk like the hunchedback of Notredâme! Is it a matter of coping things from a working OS in prophet, or is it about fail - success? sorry for my ignorance, just want to evaluate my possibilities

Uhmm..
What is the date of that ROM?
Even thus it is more recent, it seems that 10.0.15342.0 is the best version for Wizards
Does anyone know where to start for porting 10.0.15342.0 to Prophet?
What will happen if I flash Wizard to my Prophet?
How to do a Prophet kitchen based on 10.0.15342.0?
Come on guys. This is the best ROM, and the fatest one. I think it is kindof sad that nobody is porting this, so, if someone can help me on where to start, maybe I can try to port it.

I have downloaded the file and noted the file name, it appears to be a ROM for the Prophet, but Rooks, do tell us what it is, before I venture my machine into this rom as a guinea pig please.
What exactly is it??
I have also downloaded the file, and it seems to me that it's an old rom, but not 10.0.15342.0 .
Junkie can't resist
Just wish me luck, I am downloading it and going to flash it with my Prophet. Since Rook is keeping his mouth shut.
I will tell everyone whether it is poison or what?
Busy flashing will report back
ROM date is 3/17/2007
The ROM date is 3/17/2007, that put us back to the PDAViet 1.0 time.
Os 5.2.968 (build 17217.0.0.0.0)
I think ist an old version,
- Today screen does not get updated
- Active sync over BT stays goods after reset
-Sip look nice and is pretty fast
rest, nothing special to report, those willing can try for themselves.

There are a few things that we want in these beta ROMs.
Priority:
1. Stability: No frequent hangs, no missing calls, not to drain battery.
2. Usability: Basic WiFi, BT, Windows Live, IR ....
3. Speed
4. Good look and features
4. Good looks
Sorry reverted back to 4.0.0.3a
Before you start flaming me, let me tell you in 2 words why im asking.
Dial Up
Yes, I have dial up and its not even 28.8 dial up either.. so i'm asking all of you who have tried some of these roms to help me pick which one to download.
I'm not really sure what i'm looking for, I have an AT&T Fuze, i did get 1 downloaded, it seemed ok and everything but seemed alittle slower then what im used to..maybe its just me as this is the first time i've ever tried to do anything like this.
I see alot of ones that say MANILA and NO MANILA, which is better?
Da_G's ultra clean, prob one of the smallest fastest ROMs. Mine would take forever to download!
BTW, No Manila means smaller
i just tryin each one out, and reading up on each. are you looking for stability? or a rom that has all the extra's
i just tried out:
[ROM][WWE]21815v2 |NEW!!!|Rhodium+Titanium|Opera9.7b1|The Cadillac of ROMs.by jmckeejr,
i like it alot, but the battery life wasnt where i wanted it to be. amazing rom though, wayy better than the stock one
im trying out this week:
|RAPH|6.5|ROM|WWE| ★ EnergyROM 3.0 'Phoenix' (21812) ★ || Build date 2009/6/12 || by NRGZ28
i will keep you posted.
also why not look at this site using the PDA version on it, and read ppls feed back on each. http://forum.xda-developers.com/archive/index.php/f-440.html
and if were you, if you have a laptop, why not just go to starbucks or whatever coffee shop that has wifi, and just download every cooked ROM and install at home

Thaks for the input, both of you... I dont have a laptop..
Im looking for stablity with a mix of "extras and preformance" I've done some reading on some and i have no idea what some of the extra progams do LOL
im used to charging my phone every other day as it is...
they dont have a rom out there that installs the "basics" and has an app to where you can download//install only the extras you want do they?
ohh forgot to add, no Manila means smaller... smaller in download size.. or smaller in impact on preformance?

Smaller download size and slightly better performance since Titanium (the default WM6.5 Today Plugin) uses less resources than Manilla.
EnergyROM was good and stable for me, as well as RRE (although v6 seems to be a little slower than previous ones).
Da_G's clean ROMs are a good base, but you would have to download cab files for all the extras you want to install.

heres a question: do you have the data plan on your phone?
if you do, and you have already flashed your phone with a cooked rom, why dont you just teather it. Then you would have a connection that will kill any dialup connection, and allow you to download more, faster.

I do, but its only like 100mb a month. I only use it when there's bad weather/im lost.. LOL
RRE
I'm using an RRE 6.5 Rom. Pretty stable so far, i've been using it for about 2 months already. If you want a barebones rom, go for Da_G. if you want the simplest but has almost anything you need, go for RRE.
Goodluck!
Your phone has wifi go to a friends or somewhere and download to a memory card, if you don't have one you can get 1 or 2 gigabyte one dirt cheap. I know you can get RRE ROMs direct to phone. Be creative.
Thanks guys/gals for the help!!
Hey, sorry if this has been answered, but I have been poking around XDA and PPCGeeks and havent found an answer...
Is there a .cab file for Sense UI (Manila 2.5)?? or are there only roms with it cooked in?
Id like to keep the rom im running (stable, fast, and most importantly customized to my liking)
Thanks!
No. There is not and likely never will be a cab (or cabs) for sense. There's just too much stuff for a cab. It really needs to be cooked in.
there is a cab for manila 2.1 (which is almost just as good if you. can live without home screen weather, screenshots of your favorite sites/apps,colored tabs and a twitter tab).ive resorted to hunting it down and installing it on my htc 2.01 rom after numerous custom roms on here with this manila and the sense kept crashing on me, this is actually the only thing i have wanted out of those roms anyway.
Can you post a link to a version that works on the TP? Can't seem to find it.
edit
the manila 2.1 cab
sure click here follow the instructions word from word u do not want to make a single mistake at the expense of a hard reset.
thanks guys, i went ahead and flashed another rom, sorry i couldnt reply earlier, but i was having probs getting onto xda

sense cab ...
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=108707
I installed this and here is what has happend thus far.
Installed without any errors... so far so good
Rebooted first time and it came up with an error with services.exe. Hit ok and it loaded sense... so far so good again... until it froze solid after about 30 seconds of it being loaded.
Reset it with the reset button as it was totally locked up, came up with same services.exe error and froze up right around the same time. Reset it again.
This time it came up without the services.exe error... seemed to work a bit longer until it froze up solid again.
Did a few more resets with no change. Decided to deactivate it from the today items.
Deactivated it before it was able to freeze. Restarted again and now it's not freezing.
Tried to re-enable TF3D and nothing. It unchecks itself after I hit OK.
Reset again and tried again. Same thing.
Now trying to uninstall it. Taking forever and not sure if it will totally remove it or not.
Maybe I am having trouble because I am using the Stock ATT 6.5 rom. I am really trying to avoid putting on a Custom rom as I have always had problems with them on my old phones (Wizard, TytnII).
Anyone else try it yet and had success?
Sad thing is, it works pretty smoothly until it just stops and locks up.
BTW, using the ATT Tilt 2.... my sig is pretty old.
guess I am the only one to try this cab on a TP2?
Hello, becouse speed and performance is most important for me I`m looking for last EnergyRom 6.1 I think It`s EnergyROM Series 2.0 21042 - Final Rhodium Manila ** || Build 41609 but does anybody knows where I can download it, or maybe somebody can upload it.
I have it uploading on my 4shared. With my upload speed it should be ready in about an hour.

My dear friend nrgz28..I have been used most of energy roms in my touch pro..Now i use the last one of wm6.5..I thing you've made top roms for touch pro..But my main problem with the wm6.5 is the battery..It end without understand it..I have everything close..Backlight to minimum and it works for 1-2 day max..On wm6.1 battery keeps at max 2-3 days with the same usage..In addition in wm6.5 i have some lags..I cant explain that because i use sktools and everything is optimized on my phone and also I never use multitasking..i still trying to find a good rom to balance battery and speed..thats why i think wm6.1 is better..
sorry for my language...thanks

I dont have an idea..Maybe the cool graphics need more power..I use titanium+spb ms 3.5.3(tweaked)..so you can imagine..
Hey people, i've been running nfsfans 1.05 rom and frankly, it blows. it's slow, the text messaging is nearly unusable and i just can't cope with it anymore.
i need a new, speedier rom. something slim, without too many extraneous features but most importantly, i just need something fast. in the last rom, i'd close out a threaded im and it would take 15-45+ seconds to get back to the text inbox. going from the inbox to the home screen would take more then 60 seconds. this is just unacceptable. i would have to restart the phone a half-dozen times a day because it would simply freeze for no reason.</rant>
anyway, if anyone could recommend something to me, i would be forever grateful.
thanks!!
You can try mine. It's clean and fast, very similar to DCD's. Visit the link in my sig for more information.
