I patched my spl and updated to windows mobile 6.1 . Its working fine.
OS-VanillaManilaUltimate Edition v3. from tread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=472169
But there are some issue with the speaker phone. Sometime it alway goes to the speaker mode. So i need to give it to the service center.
I have taken the backup of the original rom as told in the tread http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...8&postcount=20
please tell me how to restore the original rom and spl. so that i can give it to the service center.
If the speaker issue is some application issue. please help.

In my country, Service center didn't care with SPL, just restore the ROM only.
Its under warranty. Is patching the spl voids warranty.

My T mobile branded Vario II fell off my lap yesterday (in its case) Theres not a scratch on it and its only 4months old. Later on i had loads of missed calls and then realised it wont ring or vibrate or play mp3's.
Im currently running one of HTC's Roms, SPL-1.09 is my bootloader and im not sure how to reflash with the original T-mobile rom before i head back to the shop to see about a replacement
I keep getting a invalid vendor id, and from reading posts on the forums i know i need to do something with the cid so i can flash back down to the original rom.But im getting confused between a super cid and a cid? as what ive found below just mentions cid and not super cid.

Good luck with the downgrade - I'd be interested to know how it goes. I also have a T-Mobile MDA Vario II, and so far I've put HardSPL 7 and Radio ROM 1.41 onto it. I'm just trying to decide which WM6 ROM I want to try out
Anyway, I have at the back of my mind that I don't really know how to downgrade it in the case of a warranty claim. The MrVanx guide to downgrading WM5 looks ok, but I'd love to know how to put the radio rom back (I guess this would just be the reverse of the upgrade), but then finally taking taking HardSPL off. In fact I'd vote for a guide on it - would write it myself but I have to confess I'm rather a newbie to the world of HTC upgrades....

I´d like to downgrade to original softbank settings. But they only accept warranty issues if you have the original cid? , right?
So putting the old rom back on is not my problem, "un-super-cid" it is.

please excuse, but i have a question and i will not open a new threat.
I use tytn. I have installed the Radio Version 1.40 and the Black 3.01 Rom. I have used HardSPL and when i go into the bootloader i have Herm200 IPL 1.04 and Herm200 SPL 2.10 OliPro. My question is: it is not possible to go back to wm5 with the installer RUU Hermes 1.18....-Qtek_Ger_Ship. Because in this installer is a Radio Rom. When i will use it, i lost my Radio and i have No GSM. The only way to go back is with MrVanx Hermes downgrade guide. Is this correctness ??

i already opened a thread about this and noone seems to be answering the question.. i am afraid my device is ruined already and most likely because of the new spl.. i am so upset.. the whole device is acting wierd, i even went back to ap3 and still having the same problems.. it seems to be the spl coz nothing else changed! i want to flash stock rom. any idea how to go back to normal???
Guess, all bros here prefer we have our device upgraded then otherwise.
I too encountered the bootloader loop after executing the AnthenaUpdater.
Best of all I cannot load AP4 and I cannot goto activesync mode.
Seeing the bootloader screen tell me there is hope, so next.
I flash AP3newspl by cmonex, http://htc-hackers.com/uploads/ap3newspl.zip
Not sure I re-flashed the AP3 rom, sorry, quite excited during the recovery process.
As soon as I get to see AP3, I continue instructions as prompted on screen until I have the
Activesync running. Once the sync is stable and established good connection with pc,
I immediately proceed and re-try flashing AnthenaUpdater.
It finally flashed the AP4 rom. The princess found the frog.
I hope my little experience may of help to you. Cheers.
I;ve also learn to leave the usb cable connected for a little longer to ensure all activities are completed.

I felt ap4.0 maybe is slow so i tried to go back to 7510(or 7501) original rom but stopped at loading..... scene
So i tried tried and flashed ap3.0 rom and t-mobile ...... but everytime rebooting device is starting as hardresetted.
Never come back to original rom never go to ap 4.0
so after rebooting ,as above posting, while activesync is active, I ran apupdater but the bootloader didn't come but hard restting_after scene so ap 3.0 or 7501 rom was starting....
desperatly, as soon as updater was finalized and before bootloader started, I pressed down volume_key+camera key +soft reset hole....
manually loading bootloader...
I succeeded in flashing ap 4.0
And felt good operating.
Everybody can experience this case .
This is from spl ver. I think.

As far as you willingly go back to ap 4.0, your device will remain beatiful athena.

as you have found out, there is no way to revert to the old SPL yet!
I downgraded to AP3 Old SPL, It runs fine. However, I got the following error with other Roms downgrade:
"FOUND SPL V1.20
DOWNLOAD SPL BEFORE V3.03 IS NOT ALLOWED"
What does it mean?
It means, as has been said MANY times before, if you upgrade to AP4 you CANNOT downgrade to anything except the hacked AP3.

I got the same message.
And first Scene after rebooting is crashed as like a gray darkness mess.
after ap 4.0 reupgrading, all worked fine.

You mean that it can't revert to old SPL? but after flashing this newSPL(v3.50.OliNex),my original rom can't be flash back! Because I'm a chinese,I need the chinese language rom.

What the heck is that you've linked to?
Why didn't you read before upgrading? It was made quite clear that this was a now ROM that required a new SPL and could not be downgraded. Olinex has since made a version of AP3 that you can downgrade to and in future a full downgrade path will be available. It is not available yet.

只能装他的ap3。。这个ap3能运行在new spl下
其实ap4比ap3好，只要把那个划屏的选项关了在横屏下就好使了，也不卡。。不用划屏不就行了。。。

Needing Downgrade - Waiting Patiently
First off - the AP4 is an excellent Rom - Great work! Thanks!!!! I was an early adaptor and unfortunately my headphone jack shorted out my internal speakers and now of course trying to reflash to the original HTC wm6 shipped rom so I can submit it to warranty, I found the dreaded spl-v3.50 not acceptable warning. Yes, we were forewarned about this (though I confess I missed it). So I URGE any of you who are still under warranty NOT TO UPGRADE to AP4 until Olipro benovolently provides us a true downgrade path to the factory roms or you are absolutely positive you don't want to make a waranty claim. If you are not under warranty - I highly recommend AP4. If you are under warranty I highly recommend staying with AP3 as you can downgrade AP3 to the original factory roms.
My two cents worth as I wait patiently for Olipros downgrade path to the original roms - and I will be donating handsomely for this...

are yiu sure this isn't just the problem that has affected just about every HTC phone and is easily fixed by poking either the headphone jack in and out a few times or wigling a matchstick/paperclipin the hole?
No need for a waranty claim!

Not only from HTC, I encountered it with Atom and HP6828 device as well.
Poking to correct the contact may help but do not apply too much force.
The jack cannot be replaced individually, whole main board have to go,
as I learned from the service centre.

Why did you had the itch to use the orefkov spl? its for new gene only and if olipro spl was working then it means you have an old gene. I dont know why you guys get so experimental that you dont care to read any instrusctions etc. Atleast 50 times it is written on this forum only that downgrading a device's spl or onbl makes it unbootable and you may have to take it to the service center.
I think the only way you can get your phone back is to use the JTag method, or take it to the service center.

Now this is really bad thing. Olipro is a genious so outstanding that you cant even imagine. Have you cared to read half of his posts? He and Orefkov are the ones because of whom we gene users were able to get Wm 6.1 on our mobile.he has done so much for the windows mobile community be it gene or kaiser or any other phone. If you dont have the patience to read threads, its your fault not Olipro's. He has designed the SPL for old gene and he is not responsible if you use it in a wrong phone. Designing an SPL is such a pain in the a** task that you cant even imagine i think. Its a developers forum, not some non-profit public service station where you can get services for free without doing anything. Of course you dont have to pay for most of the stuff, but the cost really comes as the time to read all the stuff here.
So never use that kind of words for people who you dont even know and what they have done for this world. Thats really bad of you man

Who in the world asked you to use the SPL designed to work on a OLD gene on your device...stop using these kinda words on developers who spend a whole lot of time in giving something good for our phones....
Your phone is bricked cos of you and not cos olipro designed something to work on OLD gene....

I'm beginning to think there should be a thread dedicated to stock SPLs, or they should all at least be included in the HardSPL thread. This is the 2nd one I've done in two days . . .

I have searched the forum but couldn't find anything on freezing on 3.14 ROM. I upgraded 6 months ago and so far everything was fine. no problems at all.
Since yesterday the touch doesn't respond to anything so i removed the battery and restarted the device. and it worked fine but it keeps doing this. I am thinking of reloading the 3.14 ROM but wasn't sure at the moment. as i want to backup the device.
Apprivcate if someone can come back to me.
Also any backup tools recommended, Like Microsoft Myphone ( which is finished now:-( )

I use spb backup. It works GREAT! I can load SPB mobile shell get it how i want it..backup....load CHT get it how i want it...backup... and so on..and on.. lol. It can do a COMPLETE backup of EVERYTHING
I have re-loaded the 3.14 ROM and everything is working fine. Used pimbackup to backup my test message and restored someone them.
Will try SPB backup and let me now

After upgradeing the ROM, please make sure that you do a hard reset.
If your hardware is from T mobile, orange, ect... than you would need to send it back with there ROM.

It depends who your warranty is with?
Some warranty company don't care about what ROM you have but some do.
That's the question you need to ask or see your warranty terms
