I have a Niki 100 in bootloader mode allways.
I not save the ROM and Radio versions but the operator is Swisscom.
I try to change language to portuguese and give me an error to 95%.
I instaled sspl-1.16 but i'm not instaled the hardspl.
I need a original ROM to recovery my phone.
Everybody help me please!!!

no i'm using T-mobile 2. serial v1.06. my current ROM version is 1.72 WWE Radio 1.17. ExtROM : 1.60.50. what can i do for upgrade or update my ROM. i'd listened this my rom (v1.0.6) just can update ROM and verry difficult to downgrade ??? <== that is right ? and its true then what can i do for downgrade . pls help me. thank all

I'm currently using a french orange 3100. if i install this english rom will my OS change to english (i want it in englis but dont want wm6 just yet))

Interesting the radio is 1.38.00.0.1 - i.e. quite old. I wonder if this has been tweaked for Orange - it's the same as the one in the French rom. I might try installing this radio to see how it goes.

Hi guys,
I am using Wm6 Black 2.5 (OLIPRO 2.10) on my M3100 and when I am trying to install this update (BTW, it is a WM6 ROM ? ) I get an error from the RUU application that it cannot connect to the device (ERR 260). I have installed the Vista drivers and I don't know what to do ( I have read the guides and read the forum). Thanks in advance for any advice!

My device is reporting 2.11.61.1 (23/3/07), Operator version 14.211.1.611.
If you tell me how to work out the Ext. Rom version number I'll have a look and report that too.
so what rom would i need to install first in order to be able to install this update??? i am running black 2.5 also but want to go back to the orange preloaded version.

I have the same error as well. Is it because I have used hermes unlocker v3a to my M3100?
all those with 26x error, not able to update... extract the NBH file from the rom, then use CustomRUU (see stickies) to flash it.

@PETE that is not the reason the upgrade is not running. He can just FLASH Olipro1.10 which is 1.04 based then flash this ROM. However the 260error is not coming from the device. It is coming from the PC. I do not have a VISTA machine so maybe someone else shed some light. He should also search the threads for that error because it has been mentioned numerous times before.

[Help] ROM upgrade error
I tried to install the new M3100 ROM downloaded from the Orange page, and at the step before the M3100's screen goes tricolor, it got resetted and disconnected from my PC. The next thing I know I got an error saying "Your phone is not connected to your PC blah blah". Am I missing something here?
P.S: I dont have a craddle, the phone is connected using USB cable.
Have you done any upgrades on the device at all?? (such as HardSPL or a new radio)

A, make sure you have hardspl install. B, make sure your flashing the correct rom. niki or neon. Hope that helps

To simply change the language, there are ways without HardSPL.
If you want to flash a completely different language ROM, you need HardSPL, there is no way around it, sorry.

You have two options.
1. Wait for the Hard SPL
2. Ask cmonex for a Goldcard to flash another ROM

I tried to change the device language in WM6.1 to english by using TopazRUUwrapper;
PDA phone RUU 3,27,4,3
and nbh file
TopazIMG_HTC_WWE_EastEurope_1.39.479.1_Radio_Signed_Topaz_61.20t.25.10_3.43.25.19_Ship.nbh
I get the 4 colour screen, and the loading starts, but stops at 1%, showing the message:
ERROR [294] : INVALID VENDER ID
Did I make a mistake?
Can anyone help me to change the language to english?

You can flash any original rom with gold card

hi vikas
ur device is sim locked.so u will have to unlock it.search the forum its just there.once unlocked u will be able to flash any rom after unlocking dont forget to get hrd spl 1.22 on ur device
