I am really confused.
The last time I flashed my nike was almost a year ago, and now, since hardspl 1.22 I cant remember how to flash a new rom.
So, when I used spl 1.16, how I always do is the following: establish active sync connection, execute spl 1.16 on device, and then execute RUU.
So (by that time) I installed 1.22 and flashed an official ROM (no need of spl 1.16). But now, I'm trying flashing the same ROM (the lastest one, OEM PTG), establishing active sync and just executing RUU, but in the last step my device jumps to tri color boot (with USB information) and I get in my computer error in syncronizing.
Am I doing anything wrong?
I'm using Windows 7, wondering if that's problem (altought I can use Windows Mobile Device Center very well and with no problems).
Can you please help me?

a solução foi a seguinte: despluga do usb, desliga o aparelho e liga com o botao da camera pressionado, vai entrar na tela tricolor, aí vc pluga e executa o customRUU.
pra mim funcionou.
qq coisa tamos aí.

1 - unplug from usb
2 - turn off the phone
3 - hold camera button and turn on the phone (will apear the three color screen)
4 - plug the usb cable again
5 - run customRUU

I am also using windows 7 and no problem.
I think need to install 1 more driver.
When connected on bootloader mode (three color) windows will ask for a driver.
Just let it search online. When it's done, then you can flash your phone.

I have only a dumped Italien Tim Rom. You only need to start SSPL and flash it!
I think, in the moment no Original CID Locked Tim Rom avaliable!

no, dumped Italien Tim Rom don't work (ID Vender not valid), we search Italian Tim Rom for CID locked, for Niki death
you must CID Unlock your Device first!!!
You can use USPL or HardSPL ... then flash it ... after you can write a Original SPL back!!!

2. After OS is Started ... Download SSPL and Copy it to your Phone ... please remove SD Card and SIM ... Start this Program!

I try to boot an English rom in my htc touch dual niki100 by following the steps posted by jockyw2001:
"Nike SSPL, USPL and HardSPL"
1. Download the attached files
2. REMOVE SIM and SD CARDS!!
3. Connect usb cable
4. Copy sspl-1.16-nike.exe to your device and run it (USB cable must be connected!)
5. After a few seconds "USB" appears on the display
6. Unplug and replug the USB cable
8. You can now flash the hardspl-1.15mfg-nike.nbh by running ROMUpdateUtility.exe from flash-uspl-niki
I did all but not step 8 and went on with the installation of the English rom but its stop at 15% and give me error. Since then the phone can’t pass the bootloader screen. I hard reset it but still can’t pass the bootloader screen. On the screen it shows,
NIKI100
SPL-1.16.0000
I was told to download MTTY, use command Boot, to force an OS Boot! I download one of 48.0kb in size. Can you please give me a step by step help on this software and to restore my phone back please!!

You have to do step 8 otherwise it is not working, after finishing step 8 you can flash another rom.

I have a problem. I have a device (the Ampe A76 Tablet). Recenty it got locked because of too many wrong pattern entries and now it only wants my Google account credentials. I can give them. But the problem is the WiFi isn't connected or turned on so, even though I enter my account information correctly, the device cannot check for it's validity. So, the device stays locked.
I searched for it firmware and found some [ hxxp:// www . szampe . com / support_down.asp ? id=800\ ] but the server is extremely slow. I cannot download it for days.
In this situation, I think it will be really useful to have a method to bypass the pattern entry screen using some kind of key combination to enter the factory reset interface.

I know this is a solution but the problem is, as I might have already mentioned, that I couldn't download the firmware and the necessary app for the Flashing process to be completed. The server response is EXTREMELY slow in here.
If you have the drivers, app and the firmware, could you please kindly make it available in someplace else? Such as, Mediafire etc??

sorry I just saw yr post the site is slow but not all days Itried for 4 days until the downlaod was reasnable to get. you may need to try some more. if you did not succesed tell me.
Is there any link to official or custom firmware? , My current firmware is bloated and causing malfunction.

O meu estava estático, ligava a luz, mas não aparecia nada na tela.
Consegui consertar.
Como percebi que as informações na net são meio complicadas de encontrar, vou deixar aqui o passo a passo do que eu fiz.
1 - Baixar o programa Live Suit
2 - Instalar o programa
3 - Baixar o Firmware - (não conseguir postar o link, me peçam por email: [email protected])
4 - Após a conclusão de download, abra o programa live suit.
5 - Aperte "Yes", depois "Yes" novamente, "general" , e selecione onde está o arquivo baixado.
6 - Conecte o tablet no pc, pressione o botao + e o botão power juntos por alguns segundos, até o pc detectar.
7 - Ele vai perguntar se você quer formatar realmente, responda "yes", depois "yes" novamente.
8 - Aguarde o termino do procedimento e pronto !!!
So recently I have been trying to root my At&t LG Phoenix 4, when I use the command "adb reboot bootloader", it just performs a normal reboot into Android. I have USB debugging enabled and I have the setting "Enable OEM unlock" enabled. My end goal is to eventually install TWRP recovery for this device and then flash Magisk. I managed to boot into it once while following this tutorial, but never ended up being able to get into it again after that. One other notable thing is that when I boot into recovery via "adb reboot recovery", the screen displays "no command" with the droid on its back. Is there any way I can reboot into Fastboot so that I can install TWRP?

Android Version: 8.1.0

On the no command screen you have to press the power button to enter in recovery. You are seening no command means you are there in recovery but to come to main screen you have to do one extra step. From there you can enter to bootloader/fastboot mode.

Just tried this and it did not seem to do anything. Am I missing something?
If power button is not working try the buttons you pressed to enter in the recovery (power + vol down). On no command screen press and hold the buttons for a second or 2 and release. Possibly then you'll then enter in the main screen.
If also this combination dont work try all the buttons in combination.

When the "No Command" appears on your screen press and hold the power button FIRST then while keeping tbe power button pressed then press the volume up button.
That will instantly give you the menu.

Android 8 relocks the bootloader and disables fastboot. Try LG Uppercut to downgrade and try again. Hope this helps.

Hello, dear friends. will you be able to install firmware with Redmi 4A on this device? the processor is the same, the RAM is the same. what could go wrong? who is very well versed in this matter?
I guess the root was never sucessful. I was never able to root my old one after trying just about everything. Seems I saw one time on here that if your phone is branded by a carrier (locked to a certain network) that you can never root those phones, have to get an unlocked phone. Though it seems logical to also see if there are any custom ROMS even made for that model if you are planning on installing one. Am I correct on these?

not all phones allow oem unlocking bootloader. only some phones allow it.
you can't do nothing about it. no hack. from I know.
some carrier phones don't even allow usb debugging and no developer options .
same problem with xz2 compact.

Procurei em dezenas de lugares, como recuperar meu celular com firmware / bootloader / etc... tudo zuado...
Nâo importa o que você fez no celular.
Se o boot no modo fast do seu celular tiver funcionando (segura Volume '-' junto botâo de ligar ) isto vai funcionar para você.
1- Baixe o arquivo 'motog7-recovery.zip' ( ja tem os '.img', adb.exe, fastboot.exe, etc.. )
2- Descompacte ele em uma pasta simples (ex. 'C:\motog7')
2- Execute o arquivo 'flashfile.bat' e espere (pode demorar). (Ele reinicia sozinho)

I looked in dozens of places, how to recover my phone with firmware / bootloader / etc... all messed up...
It doesn't matter what you did on your cell phone.
If your phone's fast mode booting is working (hold Volume '-' next to power button ) this will work for you.
1- Download the 'motog7-recovery.zip' file (you already have the '.img', adb.exe, fastboot.exe, etc..)
2- Unzip it into a simple folder (eg 'C:\motog7')
2- Run the 'flashfile.bat' file and wait (may take a while). (It resets itself)
