Hi everybody, I do apologize for my (maybe) poor english, since it's not my mother language. I need help in order to changing my shift hard disc...I cannot reboot and nether by vista cdrom nor acronics I can see the disc anymore.
So I have to buy another one but I don't know which one cause I'm afraid no all of them work (are compatible).
I used the function seek on forum and I found toshiba mk 1011gah 1,8" 100 gb
Is it ok?

I don't know the online shop where sell this drive. Please search!
But in my country (Cambodia), there is only one shop but second hand and very expensive.
Please try to check, I think it can be replaced with iPod Classic 80GB Hard drive.
If your friend or someone has this iPod and broken but the hard drive is OK you can buy and replace to your shift.

There is no one else listed on the sheet. But I have seen "rolfd" actively moderating the threads.

I heard this about a month or two ago, because i complained at the XDA COMPLAINTS section about us not getting any moderation from mmelo, they told me that there was bad weather there, and he could not connect to internet from where he lived... That was a month ago, maybe he's having IRL issues? i don't know, but even though we don't have a OFFICIAL mod, others come around quite a lot, specially Binary.
Disregard the name for our section because more than 1 come in regularly.
Alright, I'll pm them even though their document says not to. No other choice.

MMelo76 is Brazilian and I have conversed with him both in Portuguese and English. Yes his English is not advanced but, his comprehension is excellent and is able to get his point across. He is very conscientious and through. The area he is in has been getting mudslides and alike so there has been alot of line disruption. hope this subsides for him........... and things get back to normal.
We are Lucky to also have MTM and ROLFD as mods as well both are seasoned and definitely do not put up with the useless diatribe that occasionally gets posted. BTW...... isn't Rolf a form of massage ? so Rolfd means you were massaged ????...........

Hi, Hi, sorry to disappear around this time.
It was not just a connection problem, my house has suffered from the rains about 3 months. I'm still renovating it and trying to have a good condition of housing.
'm prioritizing my family (wife and two children), employment and rebuild my house. I appeal to it, but unfortunately it takes a while.
Well I am accessing the forum just a few things with the change of employment, the forum is blocked by the server, so I'm short on time of access.
Things are almost resolved, after making my house, we get some infection, but we're better now.
I appreciate the emails and support of all, I intend to return as soon as possible to support my habit to the forum.
Because of the blockade, I'm not accessing a lot to them, report post, but I'm always trying to look at the forums that I am assigned. Over the weekend, I dedicate more time to my house if I actually change or buy another property, I will have more time for now, still a little troubled.
I still have many emails to check, both here and personal ....

I have a Rezound but found this thread in search. I have the same exact problem as you. This didnt happen until after I got the OTA ICS update last night. Can't leave a comment as the Ok box grays out as soon as I start typing.. as soon as I delete all my text, OK can be clicked..whats up with that?

I solved it by typing in both boxes. It's not 100% obvious at first.
Title and comment boxes need to be filled for the ok button to work.

Ahh damn...im such a tool! lol... That was it. Thank you much! I dont know how I even missed that. Its the new plain bare format that is missing the shadowing and borders...crappy design. I liked the old design better. Just didnt catch my eyes...thanks again for that. I never got an answer over in the Rezound forum...more like flames :-B

I unscrewed it to check if its components where still in good condition, but I discovered some amount of sweat from my body that got transfered to it while I was asleep. Please can someone tell me what expertly to do? I have tried reinstatement yet it proves void. Please some one help me. I earlier read an article on this from yet I could not apply it. Please help me find a solution please. I didn't understand the steps I was asked to take from anyone can help? Please

Turn it off, leave it in some rice for a while. If it won't turn back on you'll just have to try to get Samsung to repair or replace it.

Unscrewed it? What is reinstatement? Not sure if that's a language barrier issue or what. You slept on it, what were the symptoms of it being damaged or misbehaving? The phone is fairly water proof, there is no way your sweat got into the insides of the phone from sleeping on it.

Should xda be condoning illegal behavior? Not sure where my post went mentioning that it is illegal in many places.
OK so it seems it is a state thing and depending on the program, it covers 12 states in the US where it would be illegal.

That depends on the state. The state I just lived in made it illegal for all kids over 16 as that is when they can leave home. You also have to tell them its on there. Also any of the programs that are used to record calls are flat out illegal on a childs devices due to the laws about recording phone calls and both parties having to know about it.
But to each their own. Anyone that feels they need to spy on their kids has already lost them.
