I just flashed my Alltel touch pro using mighty rom 6. My question pertains to the data connection arrows. They look like they are constantly connected instead of changing color when idle. Do they just look like they are going 24/7 or is it because of the black and white stock theme that I have going?
mostlikey has to do with the Dialer that is used in his Rom.. Data Arrows are broken.. they will always show active.. it has to do with the GSM Dialer

I'm using the icbar program on my xda and love it. I'm trying to customize it so it shows the phone icon that is displayed on the normal start bar (the one with the signal strength, etc.). I'm able to get it on their with a default icon (blue square). It functions like this, if you click on it (shows connection options, turn off phone), but doesn't display signal strength, etc. What can I change the icon to so it works correctly?

Well, I e-mailed the author of icbar, and he said that currently it can't do this . So, I was wondering if their is another program (that can be ran from icbar) that would show the signal strength, alerts, etc? Or is their a program similar in function to wisbar/icbar that doesn't cover up the system (?) notifications? I like to know when I have a voicemail
So as the question says, is there a way to make the roaming signal icon (the one with the exclamation just above the bars, its in the framework/resources file) show up when the bolt is on the 'Extended Network'? I just want to be able to differentiate when its going away to the Extended network vs being on the VZ network, without pulling down the notification bar?
I'm using ARTEMIS v61, really nice1.
After some resets i miss my icon for WIFI and Bluetooth (Toggle ON/OFF). The links are working, but they have the default icon for not presented programs.
The exe-files in "\windows"-Folder are having no icons too. What happens? I saw them before i restart the device.
Next is, where i can find to switch GPS ON/OFF?
Sorry 4 my school-english, hehe.
Ups, I have a HTC HD2 and it is a WM6.5.5-ROM
my wifi icon and connection has dropped off, in wireless settings and in the advanced tab my home network comes up as unavailable for long periods, when it does get visible {by bars} there's only one bar for wifi strength and then disappears again without any further chance of coming on. all this happens in winmo 6.5, while in Android {from sd card,2.2 darkfroyo MCCM.. V4 with the compatible rom and hspl} the wifi icon doesn't appear and no web launches {apps,browser, etc}

I'd suggest a task29 to wipe the phone, reinstall yur radio then install WM from scratch and should solve your issue.
What are the meanings for the 3G/4G status bar icon colors changing from gray to blue? Mine seem to stay gray today and will not turn blue like it has been previously. If you have a good explaination I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance.
Edit:
I figured out the difference in the 3G/4G status bar icon colors. Blue is when background data is enabled and gray is when background data is disabled. (you will also see gray 3G/4G icons for a few seconds while your phone switches between 3G and 4G)
To change this setting go to... Settings: Battery and data manager: Data delivery
Check or unchecked the box accordingly. We learn something everyday.
I come from the Heroland and that usually means that you aren't logged into your gmail account or no internet connection. Just my 0.02 cents!

Gray from what I can tell is no active data connection.. It's trying to connect but not.. I see it when going from 3g to 4G and the reverse

When it's blue then your phone has a connection to google's servers (ie. your gmail account) and gray means that it doesnt have any connection to google's servers.
Thanks for the answers guys. I'm only getting gray 3G and 4G icons now. Not sure why but my data speeds are back to crap again also. Maybe I turned off "background data" so I'm about to check.
