With the iPod, you can see lyrics that have been embedded in the MP3 file. I can not find a way to do this with the standard Music player. Am I missing something or does anyone know of another player that has this. (Not the same as TuneWiki downloading lyrics - actually inside the MP3 file.)

so annoying that music player put mp3 ringstone on playerlist and playing them with other mp3 songs. even though, I put mp3 ringstone in ringstone folder.
is there away to fix that?
Which Music player are you using ?
All mobile media player do the same thing. You shuold create a playlist for all your MP3songs (without your MP3 Ringtones) and save that play list. next time just simply play that play list. for WM Mobile when you cold start the app ( the app is not already running in the background of your system "check your task manager") there aren't songs on the playlist. From here your can create your playlist at this time, then play them.
Hope that cuold help you.
There's no real solution to this.
Some will suggest changing the properties of any music file you don't want to appear in the sense music player list to 'hidden', but that also means it wont be seen by other apps (I hid my ringtones and they no longer appeared in the list of chooseable ringtones when setting a ringtone).
The best solution I came up with was re-tagging my mp3 ringtones as artist 'ringtone' and album 'ringtone', so at least they were confined to one artist/album.
thanks for reply.
start doing playlist now.
how to hide your ringtones?
does anyone know the best way to put pictures in mp3 files, so the picture comes up as album art when you playing the music. for the stock player. I know theres alot of other music players that will display album art, but I was looking on how to do it for the stock player for whatever rom i'm using at the time.
Try Mp3tag for windows (Google it). It lets you edit any id3 tag in a mp3 file, even editing several files at once.
Anybody know the music playlist file stored?
It is very time consuming to rearrange the song order for more than 100 song. I want to see whether I can edit it by computer.
thanks
Why don't you just make an m3u file using iTunes/Songbird/WinAmp/WindowsMediaPlayer. I think the music player can read the file if you add that to your music folder.
Does M3U supported by Stock ROM
I tried to use MyPlaylist App to create a m3u. However, it seems the Samsung I9100 stock Music Player doesn't support m3u playlist format.
Any idea?
Then use MP3tag (google it, it's on a German site, but it's in English) on your pc to sort the tracks and add track-numbers to the ID3 tag. The music player will recognize them in this order.
All this hassle is why you should try a different music player
I have some mp3 podcasts that have "blips" in the middle of the files. It plays fine on VLC on my computer, it just skips over the corrupt part. However, when the media player on my Android 2.2 phone (HTC vision) plays one of these mp3s, it stops playing instead. It just abruptly starts the next mp3 in the playlist. I've tried several mp3 players including meplayer and mixzing and they all do the same thing. I searched the Android market for VLC but found some ripoff called "VLC Direct" instead (looks just like VLC but won't actually play any files unless you pay).
Anyone know an mp3 player that will play over bumps in a file instead of stopping?
Try Google music... flac works on Google music, I think it will work too..
Sent from my Nexus S using xda premium
Is Google Music the software name? I can't find anything like that on the market.

"* Available in the U.S. only."
Yeah, thanks but no thanks.
I just noticed, that some of my MP3 files have the lyrics in it.
How can I add lyrics text to other MP3 files, so the standard Galaxy S3's music player will see it?
I've added some .lrc files with same name as Mp3 files, but it doesn't work...
And I don't want to use: musiXmatch. I just want to see text of all songs in the standard music player.
Bump!
bump
i dont think this will work, the lyrics have to be imbedded in the MP3
maybe im wrong.....but i think this will be a No Go for you buddy.
Thanks for answer.
I thought I can add this text into MP3 with any program or something...
you can try program like musixmatch, it will download lyrics for your tunes automatically
Try the software MP3Tag with this script.
Also take a look here.
I know this may sound crazy in an Android forum but I did this using iTunes. You can add the lyrics to the files from iTunes. I found it to be the easiest.
Just find a program that will allow you to edit the Lyrics portion of the ID3 tag. Yes, iTunes can do this, but it is certainly not the 'easiest'.
Off the top of my head, MediaMonkey, JRiver, and maybe Songbird can do this.
