After testing and testing (see thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=565550) I don't know if it is a hardware or flashing problem:
The touch screen of a new Niki doesn't work when hw-keyboard isn't slided out. Also the battery status is at 1%. When booting with keyboard slided out it works (but the touch display is not very accurate), when slided in touch screens is "deactivated".
On the first run (before flashing) with Original ROM it worked normal.
could be yr flex cable that's faulty. mine was faulty for awhile, when the keyboard was open, the screen didnt respond to touches. I searched for a replacement flex cable on ebay and swapped it myself. now it works perfectly!

My phone lcd and digitizer seem to work with no problems, but the backlight for the lcd got some problems, It won´t turn on when i press the power button. Sometimes it turns on by pressing hard on the left side of the sreen and edge or it will stay on till the phone locks. Its very weird.
I will possibly upload a video if i find a camera.I already opened the phone a bit but the flex cables seemed ok. Does anone has an idea?
Ps: My left thumb hurts .
My phone's LCD was broken, and I wanted to change it. I ordered a new LCD with assembly and connected phone to this one (changed old front with this one). First of them worked well, but was broken after one month, I was my fault. But it already works, touch works very good. In second and third one, after installing touch not worked. But I put it some minutes, then it started recognizing touches. Worked for more than a week, and yesterday night my phone turned off because of battery. Today I charged it, turned on and now touch not works again. When I press to screen hardly or press in somewhere from the back it recognizes touches. What can be problem? I searched about it but all results were about problems with broken glass, but my problem is different.

JUST now replaced a full digitizer on my Samsung s5 g900 T without a hitch screen looks and works great Home button works fine. But for some reason the buttons on either side of the home button won't light up. they work (when pressed firmly) but they won't light up!!I'm hoping this is a simple solution
This was an expensive nice oem digitizer new in package.
What am I doing wrong here?
I could use some help because this Is my main phone, need it tonight , and don't want to really heat it up yet until I fix the touch lights..

You need to replace the charging port aswy, which include the soft touch buttons. When you replaced the digitizer they got damaged. is only $5.
I have an Xperia Ray Running on LX CM13.1.
One day capacitive touch buttons started showing ghost touch continuously. I then restarted and capacitive buttons stopped working.
I then activated onscreen buttons and some days later they started showing ghost touch continuously. I then restarted device and that part of screen also stopped working.
With in a fews days ghot touch spreaded up and finally bottom half part of touchscreen stopped working.
I tried hard formatting and even I flashed stock firmware but didnt fix the issue.
As I know it is a hardware issue, Will I have to replace my entire display?
Display part is working properly but touch is irresponsive.

It seems like the Ray has the display stuck to the glass/digitizer with LOCA adhesive, so yeah, you need to replace the complete assembly, unless you find some service center where... Nah it's not worth the hastle lol.
I replaced my Mini Pro's display a bunch of times. It's sad to see a perfectly working LCD display go just because of a broken glass/digitizer.
When I leave the mobile on a flat surface with a small inclination, half up (notch area) does not work, but when I lift it and use it normally, the touch panel works totally fine. This is normal, in the Poco F1
I'm having the same problem. I noticed that touch screen works perfectly right when the charger is on, but when I'm not charging my phone touch screen won't work like in description. I thought that problem is something about battery saving options, but I can't find what. Anyone with the solution?
