[Q] Problem connecting to network after aborted root

Hi I'm looking for help with my i9300. I had an aborted root, the phone froze during root and eventually I had to restart, I was able to re-install the stock ROM and the phone seems to work fine, apart from one major problem: It won't recognise any mobile networks. The phone won't recognise my network (3), or simcards from any other network. I have re-entered the APN information manually, but this has made no difference.
All other aspects of the device work fine, wifi, apps etc.
I'd appreciate any advice on steps I can take to resolve this.
I have obviously tried standard stuff such as full factory reset.
The phone still displays coverage bars as if it was connected to a network, but when I try to dial out or send messages I get an error message "unable to register on network"
Check the imei number matches the one under the battery, if it has changed then you have major problems without a backup of the efs partition. Search and read for hundreds of similar threads, there is a sticky in the general forum.

[Q] Problem with Lenovo A390 / No network + No Sim Detected

Hi,
I bought a Lenovo A390 in January, a few weeks ago the phone started to lose signal on both sim cards, continued that way for a few minutes and returned to normal. After a few hours he lost the signal on both sim cards and didn't returned to normal, even after several hours. When I restarted the phone, it showed no sim card and the sound started to fail a little. Somehow, the cell returned to normal after several reboots.
I tried the factory reset, flashing a new rom, I even open the phone to see if any cable was loose, but the problem continues. I don't know what else to do, searching the internet I saw that several people had similar problems, but the solutions didn't work for me.
I took some screenshots to show the device when it loses signal and after rebooting.
Lenovo A390
Android 4.0.4
Baseband Version A510_MP_PCB_V1.0
Build Number A390_S320_130402
Please! Someone help me! :crying:
Same Problem
I am also facing a similar problem and in addition to that if I reboot with SIMs removed still it shows the old SIMs which were there before the problem happened.
Sometimes this workaround works and if the SIMs are not detected when removed, Next reboot with the SIMs and you can get the network (not all the time). ..
no imei no baseband

Do you have a backup of your stock ROM, if yes Reflash it.

Jiayu S2 - No cell signal after flashing ROM

I have a Jiayu S2 double-SIM phone, running the most up to date official ROM (4.4.2).
This ROM had a couple of bugs (no GPS and no notifications to external devices such as smartwatches), so I wanted to check other available ROMs. Using the Flash Tool I have tried a couple of the ROMs in the needrom site (https://www.needrom.com/category/jiayu/s2-jiayu/). In particular, a couple of versions of the official ROM, another ROM known as Salamander, and an unofficial port of Cyanogenmod 12 (in which the camera was not working).
The issue is that, for some reason, at some point my phone has stopped getting phone signal. The SIMs ask for the PIN on startup, but there is no signal. I have reverted to the original ROM; plus done a factory reset, and I could still not get signal.
The APNs for both SIMs are fine. Then I have realised that the IMEI was empty. Luckily I had it written down, so I have installed Xposed and the Device IMEI Changer, with which I have been able to restore the IMEI. Now I can see the IMEI on the Settings - IMEI information, as well as with *#06#.
But still, now with the original ROM, and with the IMEI restored, I still cannot get phone signal. I have tried setting the phone to flight mode, restarting, selecting manually the network... When trying to manually select the network I can see several networks, but the phone will simply not connect to the one it should.
Any idea on why could it be that I cannot get phone signal? Thanks.
After trying everything, including restoring the IMEI with Xposed, I have finally managed to restore cell service by restoring the IMEI with this tool: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cryptotel.chamelephon

Signal/ Radio Help.

Good evening.
The problem with my device is that after flashing a numeral of roms in panic after a failed power up, the system does not detect any kind of network. I presume this is fault of the radio since in the phone info menu, where the state of the radios is displayed, always marks them as off and they cannot be turn on.
And while previously my IMEI and Baseband had been lost at, I've successfully restored them, although with both SIM cards having the same number. Even after that the networks don't work. The CIT/QC test of the SIM card does in fact read it as present inside it's slot, as well.
Another couple of symptoms are that, first after the disastrous event of a flashing, none of the sensors were reported as working in CIT/QC, a problem I solved by once again flashing the persist.img file.
The second consequence is that neither camera would work, just displaying the message "Can't connect to camera"' (Or something alike) after a few seconds. This I solved after flashing a Kate rom.
Notes:
Measurement of the phone returns 152 Milimeters.
Phones Internal Storage is marked as only 10 gigabytes, having only 2 gigabytes of RAM.
Do you try with latest official miui rom? Flash it with MiFlash in fastboot mode.
Select:
Clean all and lock
You can try to change your imei to other and if doesnt work try again with the original.
I dont know other way.
