Experience with the Hero and a Nokia carkit? (e.g. CK-100) - Hero, G2 Touch Accessories

Anyone out there who has experience with the Hero and a Nokia carkit?
I have a nice 'voucher' lying around for a complete build-in of a Nokia carkit, the CK-100 (with Brodit active holder and such, nice stuff for the car!).
Does anyone have experience with the CK-100 in combination with a Hero? And if so, what is the call quality like. And does the A2DP work correctly?
I've read before on another site that people said the CK-7W paired and worked correctly. But if someone has experience with the CK-7W, please tell me (us) here as well!
Would be a shame to get that carkit in my car and being unable to use it .

Hello,
i've just created a new topic about some equivalent questions/problems. Sorry for that.
I am not able to pair my Hero with the CK-7W. I don't know why but the handsfree set doesn't occur in the list of available devices at all. So no chance to pair for me...
The Procedure: Activate bluetooth on the Hero an search for devices --> switch on the board voltage and set the handsfree set into pairing mode --> usually the Hero should find the handsfree set but it doesn't
With the HTC TyTN II aka Kaiser i had before it worked fine.

XDA II and Nokia Bluetooth Handsfree Car kit

Hi Guys,
I recently purchased an XDA II, and was hoping (rather optimistically) that it would work with my Nokia car kit (CK-1W).
The two devices pair, but then does nothing.
Has anybody any idea how to make these to gadgets work with each other, or must I be condemned to spending even more money?
Help!
JJ
I made the same mistake as well. However, the shop that sold it to me graciously replaced it with a Ericsson HCB-30 kit which works like a charm.
Until the BT handsfree profiles are upgraded/expanded the Nokia set won't work. The Ericsson kit works because it uses a BT Headset profile. I hope that makes sense.
There have been a few 3rd upgrades for the XDA II BT profiles so do a search on the forums for them. These upgrades may make it work.
Thanks mate, you are a star.
Its a shame because my works phone is a nokia, and I had hoped than one kit would do both.
I will have a quick search for the BT thing, and all else failing, will chop it in for the ericson kit.
Thanks
JJ

Jabra BT320s or similar

Just to resurrect this thread from back in the day, has anyone seen THIS??
Im wanting a wireless bluetooth A2DSP thing with the AVRCP buttons on it. Also I want to be able to use my own earphones and this looks the ticket!
Has anyone used this or something similar on the Hermes yet?? And if so does the A2DP fix work?!?!
I've tried a number of headsets on the Hermes, including the 320s.
In terms of connection and stability the HTC is by a far distance the most stable. The 320s did not have a good connection when I tried it.
Unfortunatly all headsets had lots of hissing when used with WM6. I did not try all of them with WM5, but the results seems to be much better.
Some people have good results using reg. hacks or the Widcomm stack. For me that doesn't work.
The AVRCP buttons worked fine on all headsets I've tried (with the media player. Not all players support AVRCP).
All in all the quality of all headsets is much worse than the supplied wired headset. Still the headset makes sense to me, but not for high quality listening.

Gutted!!
Im thinking is there a way i can test A2DP using my PC as the headset?! Il get back to you if i find a solution.
mrvanx: I am currently using my Jabra BT620s (http://www.mobilefun.co.uk/product/9783.htm) with all AVRCP functions working properly on my Orange SPV M3100 loaded with Black's latest WM6 ROM.
Jabra BT8010 has a great sound and is very flexible...
I would recommend it
BT 320 has software upgrade from Jabra website. Also, it has a very good function - to collect other music player using a wire at the same time collect to your phone using BT. This can perfect solve the music sound quality problem about your PDA.

You mean the BT230 can be connected to a different MP3 player using a cable too? (rather than Bluetooth)
Yes, the model number is BT 325s, check this out. But I cannot find any in HK
Mrvanx
I got a BT320s for my super.fi 5 Pro. The sound is excellent.
Volume adjustment is good
I got the latest FW from the Jabra Singapore site (no way to know what version is on the device and what version is on the upgrade)...
The US site shows it as coming soon???
When getting a call while listening thru A2DP you can take the call but then the phone hangs and need to be reset.
The BT8010 works better from this stand point (not much but at least no need to reset the XDA)
One of the main issue with BT320s is that it switch on by itself easily through a slight push on the central button... and the call management...
This may be due to my WM6 ROM (4/23 from LVSW)...

Nokia HS-45 compatible with Hero?

I know this is a stupid question and I'm pretty sure that the answer would be no.
But, has anyone tried using a Nokia HS-45 headset with the Hero?
It would be sweet if it works.
I was going to get a HTC rc-e100, but i heard it was quite unstable on android phones and the e100 uses usb rather than the 3.5mm socket. So I'm putting my hopes up for the HS-45.
Cheers.
hs-45 headset from Nokia
I have the same problem ..... I want an Android application that will run for hs-45 headset from Nokia and in answer to your question ... no it does not work on Android phones or iPhone. asking the smart guys on the site ........HELP................. an app to read electrical impulses from the audio jack ... and you can choose settings for these pulses (volume, forward / backward, play / pause, etc.) has something to do with multiplex coding, can someone make the Nokia headset to go on android? we all love smartphones and music ... and a headset with that many features would be great

Nokia BH-215 bluetooth headset: Incompatible

Hi there,
I recently bought the TD2 and hoped to be able to use my beloved Nokia BH-215 bluetooth headset with it. However, the sound quality is poor and it keeps getting disconnected. HTC informed me that it is incompatible with my phone.
Is there any way I can make it work with my TD2? Could a cooked ROM help? (I'm still using the stock ROM). Or can anyone recommend another compatible "clip"-type headset that works?
Many thanks!
Nat
my gf uses the nokia bh-214. the quality seems great and all and although she uses it on her old fashioned nokia, i have paired it with my HTC (using dutty's newer ROMs) and it worked fine (volume controls were laggy, but that's about it)
i personally use the SE HBH-DS980. see this post for my review: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=629787
i think 3rd or 4th post.

Thank you, Drag-On. I will check it out.

Qtek 9090 working alternative headset

Hi2All!
As subject says,is there (on the market)any solution for Qtek 9090 alternative wired headset,(coz original died)..or stereo bluetooth headset, but in both cases,(beside mp3 listening),microphone must B working..with all call/reply functions..
Cheers!
btw,yes..I do a search, but there is a lot of stuff from few years ago..
hi and welcome to the forum.
in fact, we had a headset and storage card discussion yesterday.
afaik there is no fully working alternative wired handsfree. some nokia headsets also have 2.5mm plugs, but with another connector layout (that's what's to be found in the older threads).
if you don't find a replacement original handsfree you can also use stereo bluetooth handsfrees over the a2dp standard. for that, your rom must support a2dp of course. i use a callstel bh19, which is great. it looks like a normal mono headset (candybar layout, no stupid receivers flapping around or hanging around the neck) and you can plug in a 2nd earphone, which comes with it and provides full bluetooth 2.0 a2dp with edr (much more, than the blueangel is capable of unfortunately). sorry, i can only provide a german link:
http://www.pearl.de/a-HPM3478-8909.shtml
and yes, it actually cost 3.90eur once, but now it's back to 30.
alternatively, i hear good things about jabra handsfrees in a certain price range >70eur are really good.

That'll B a high point,for travelers like me.BT headset are like a charm..I like it.Therefore,I must find appropriate cooked(or baked) WM with integrated a2dp support.I hope,thing will work.
10x4support!
