So I got bettercut, because I want to give my programs a custom Icon.
Say I want to change astro's icon, however I can only edit the standard programs within bettercut like mail and google maps etc.

i try to build myself a nice today-screen.
For this i am looking for an today-screen application, allowing adding icons for applications on my PPC (like ltlaunch in the XDA-Developers-Rom), but where i am able to change the icon-size on the screen? E.G. i want to have a large Telefon-Icon...
Does anyone know about such an application?

I can see many custom icon sets out here, but after some downloads, I realised I would like to create my own icon set, to satisfy my creative needs
The question is: Is there somewhere any kind of application (on PC or PPC) that enables you to replace stock icons on their respected locatons
I'll make myself more clear... Let's say I would like to change my Start menu icons (folders, apps,...) I do know that you can do this with some apps already available on the WM 6.5 platform, but only individually. What I'm searching for, is an app that manages to replace the icons with my own, importing (replacing) them on their locations (for example it will find the icon "Comm Manager" under Start Menu>Settings>Connections>Comm Manager.lnk) In this approach you could make one personalized icon set and use it repeatedly even after a new ROM arrives all in one sweep.
I understand that all aplications are packed in .cab files. So perhaps there is one desktop app, that manages to link my .png/.ico files to the appropriate files, converts that to a .cab and after copying to the storage, that cab after execution would replace/overwrite all the icons.
Hope it's understandable. Sorry, english is not my native language.
If this was asked/commented before, I apologise for bringing that up again...

there is nothing to do exactly what you want.
however, if you use jwmd and change them 1 by 1, you can save as a "theme" and then import it after you flash a new rom and get the same icons back.

Tried this. It duplicates the launcher icons every redraw until it gets overwhelmed and FCs. Give it more time.
That problem only occurs with Angry Birds. I believe they are working on a fix.

Does anyone have a clue, how to:
- Add a shortcut to Circlelauncher.
I mean the shortcut should appear as app, maybe in the manu as well.
Ive been using it for a while now and think it's great! occasionally it slows down when opening one of the circlelancher widgets (i have four on my screen) but have never experienced an FC from it.
Tap to open the launcher. Currently installed apps appear. To add more, tap circle icon. List of all apps should appear. Check the ones you want....Is this what toy meant?

Do you mean getting the circlelauncher to appear on your screen? If so keep in mind that they are widgets so you have to long press on your screen and select it from the widget menu.
If you mean choosing the individual apps, you choose them from the settings menu.

But you dont get it, so far. So: I would like to add a shortcut (like call the chosen contact, go to wifi settings) to the circle. The problem is, that you can add only apps which are on the devicle. I should make the shortcut to appear as app, and than I could add it to circlelauncher.
Or to add shortcut somehow else. (I know that in a normal case, you can not add shortcuts to it)
I want to clear my homesreen totaly btw. Dou you know any launcher, that would let me to even make the dialer or contact button to disapperar? (have motorola defy)

Since the Nook Color so far can't make shortcuts, I might suggest asking in the Motorola Defy section of the forum.
facebook picture for contacts
Circlelauncher is a great widget so far, haven't had any problems. Does anyone know if it's possible to use the facebook pictures as the picture for the contacts? That would be a great addition!
Is there a way to arrange the order of the icons? I want to group like items.

Hi, I believe I read that with ICS, Google made it possible to remove carrier and phone producer apps. I have been through the settings but can't seem to find where to do so. Can someone help me?
Also, how do you remove eg. the contacts or messages icon? Before the update it was no problem to replace the custom SMS icon with another app, but it seems impossible now.

go to PLAYMARKET and get ICONCHANGER (RootUser) and you can download icons from the APPandTHEMES or you can create them on pgn format ! its so f. easy
I think you misunderstand, I want to replace the stock SMS app shortcut with a shortcut to the Go SMS app. But thanks anyway

Edit: I found out, I remembered it incorrectly and it's just going to apps, edit -> drag icon down to the touchwiz bar.

Im searching for app thats allow to change the icon and app name in main menu and home screen. free od paid version - doesnt matter
I know that are launchers like: adw, launcher pro and nova but they only hide the app !
of coure there are few apps in market like: app namer editor, app renamer but they only create the shortcut on main screen.
I can edit *apk files oraz files in data folder but all this possibilites are useless and hard to done by someone with no skill and needed to be done every time when ROM reinstall
Im searching something nice and easy to use: Choose app --> edit name and change the icon, save and quit.
