Saves steps... you put it in the pull down window
or the manila programs....
one click gets you to google voice. (granted the web page)

I already do that without this....... "APP" lol.
Save m.google.com/voice to your IE bookmarks, then, if you're using manila add a quick link under the Browser tab.
one tap ('cause we ain't really clicking anything here) will get you directly to your GV inbox via Opera 9.5.
I've been really looking for a real GV app, and the closest your can get right now (IMO) is iDialer.

Anyone know how to get the SMS client from the 6.1 onto the stock 6.0 rom? I am running on Alltel and would love to have that..

if thats the Palm SMS proggy you better remove it...
and nobody has been able to extract the pocket outlook program yet afaik. I would think it would be near imposible, it'd be easier to just upgrade your phone to 6.1.

Works great...thanks, only thing is you should clear out your inbox before you install this, it took forever to import all my messages in.
1. Can you use oprah browser of vzw? I know there was issues in the past with it but has that been resovled.
2. How do you get the GMAIL APP to work on the xv6800.

The link I posted was directly from GC14.... I would assume he has the latest and greatest.

Yet it works if you click OK ignore all of those errors. It is just incredibly annoying to do when typing Twitter or Brightkite updates. Alternatively, install ANY of the pre-official beta releases of Opera and you will be worlds ahead of any other browser on windows mobile, including Opera Mini.
I'm sure you can find threads on this forum.
I've been meaning to go digging on all the sites to find the latest and greatest opera version without the memory errors. I've been running both on my phone. The actual beta version allows you to throw the page in the direction you want to scroll a bit easier then the pre-release that I am running. I wish you could just turn off that error. The browser works seemlessly other than having to click OK, as far as I can tell. Someone needs to go in and change the je to a jg or something in the binary to disable that dialog.
Ok, so on to the next issue. How do I get the "push internet" to work . When I select "add new push page" in TF3D2 and I get a blank screen and when I try to select the soft tab for all bookmarks it does nothing. I have seen that there is a cab fix for this but have not found a dl link for it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
Make sure that you:
A: Have your bookmarks stored not in folders
B: Dont mind push internet not working as I havent found anyone who has successfully had it working
(If you do get it working, please share the knowledge)

I have push internet working on my phone. You need to add a fav site in opera by going to a web page you want to add then select the star icon at the bottom right in opera. Then select the plus icon in the bottom right. Then select the check mark icon in the bottom right. Now exit out of opera and select Add new push page and select the web page you just added in opera favs. Not all versions of opera work with push internet so some roms may not work.

I am using 9.5 build 15613. I can post the cab but I think it has settings for At&t. You would need to change the proxy settings in opera.

I'd love to see a list of Opera builds this works with. Mine's 2745, which I use since it works great with Hebrew (RTL issues), but it doesn't give me push Internet.

i have been using NRGZ energy rom with the same opera build but even after several registry tweaks, i cant get push internet working...any ideas?
hey all iv taken on the task of trying to make a police scanner app,
im doing it in html and having problems making embedded wmp to do anything
inc play a mp3
no sure if its my computer as when i have my pda linked via active sync i can view web pages but any streams from like youtube try to connect but fail
im also working on a dropdown script to bring up an alert box with police codes...
this is been developed for Wvga 480x800 wm6.5 wgt.
i may do cab from wm5.x for those who dont have widget engine later.
any help i most welcome

Here you might need to install both. Can't remember where I found them so credit to whoever created them. Worked for me!

Thanks, I hope it works on a german rom.
I can install the prog an I can install the widgets, but I can`t start them. I start the widget, than comes the message from the cost for the datas and than the widgets doesent starting. Any idea perhaps ?
Here's how I do it. Using SkyFire Browser, Go too www.radioreference.com . Sign up for an account (it's free) You may want to use your PC to sign up for the account just because it's easier, and follow the steps to get to your area and choose from all of the scaner feeds in your area, find the best one and favorite it in your skyfire bookmarks. I live in Pittburgh PA and I have it favorited where I can hear all the police, fire, and ambulances in the entire city, it works great. Just make sure you use skyfire becuase the scanner player uses Flash.

Fire Brigade will, as well as some things like Airports & Trains, but Police & Ambulance use encrypted digital radios here now.

can anyone provide some instructons about how exactly do you do this?
For now, it only works with myTube but it works with many YouTube links. As far as I know, links from playlists aren't working yet. If you are aware of any other links that do not work correctly with this app. Please contact me at: [email protected] or pm me.

The developers of perfect tube need to provide me with a URI scheme that let's me launch their app with a video. I've contacted them a few weeks ago about this but I still haven't got a reply from them yet.

It works but it doesn't let me open videos directly. It will do a search for the video instead. You will be doing an extra click but at least you still save some time

I have one doubt, is posible to make that the app opens automatically the youtube app (without intermediate button click).

I've tried that but the system will not let me. There has to be some kind of input from the user before I can launch another app.if there isn't input, the app will stay on the splash screen forever.
hey @EP1CNESSHD, good app. i have a suggestion: add a buton named like "copy link" near the 'lauch button'. this way we can copy the link if the mytube didnt open the link. it happens a lot of times.

That's an awesome idea thanks for the suggestion. However the latest version of this app is much more reliable but it's only available in the store app I'm creating. The link for it is probably expired now so I guess you're going to have to wait till release.

i dont know if this problem depends only you. or if is a fault of mytube too. if the new update of your app can ALWAYS open ALL links, so the 'copy button' is not needed. but it can be userfull if a bug happens.
example: when i want search a video i preffer to do this way:
- tap the 'cortana button'
- bing show the youtube links.
- choose one, tap, and 'YT launcher' opens it.
- tap 'launch button', mytube is opened but dont play the video, shows a black screen with 'play button'.
in this case if we have a 'copy button' we can copy and paste with the popup in mytube easily too..
