u may use FTP Bluetooth for temporary. atom n atom exec still have problem with bluetooth can be receive but not send.

currently, m using PersianBlue. it's not really a ftp bluetooth but i can send/receive file.

Please describe...
I've tried 21864, 21874, and now 21884 from tjkhattak61's ROMs..Nothing's wrong with the bluetooth except the bluetooth issue (can't add more than 1 bluetooth device).
I've used 21728 and 21864 with working bluetooth and A2DP and irDA connection, and a totalcommander as my file explorer on my atom exec.
am trying the A2DP of 21884 by now...

hi gugi_sat,
before giving an advice, let me remind you 1st that:
1. the wm 5.0 is not released yet & what we have is 'bm 2005' for "testing" purposes &
2. the future wm 5.0 to be released may or will not be available for himalaya devices (PH10B).
having said that, when you upgrade to 'bm 2005' you will come across several problems like hardware buttons not working, poor quality video & cam and incompatibility problems w/ some legacy apps.
my advice is to test drive bm 2005 and if you can tolerate or 'get around' with those problems, then keep it, if you run into problems, search the forum, if you run into a dead end refer back to point 1. above. otherwise, stay with SE.
btw, i'm using bm 2005! it is a 'breakthrough OS', a work-in-progress with on-going developments by fellow hima die hards & i don't have big hangups with its current problems & limitations! :?

The nice thing is: you can always revert back to SE if you would like to: so why don't you try it and see if you like it or not.
Me, like most WM2005-users will not revert back any more because in spite of the unsolved issues (HW-buttons, MMS, bad Camera) it's really a great OS: not only because of persistent storage memory, but also because it's very stable: I hardly ever reset my device since I installed it... This was not the case with the original WM2003 or WM2003SE that I runned for a while.

I don't have any problems with HW-buttons, they work Ok and yes, my bootloader is 1.2! (upgraded from w2k3se 2.20chs with HimaUpgradeUt.exe/CRC32:92934467, HimaClearJumpCode.exe/crc32:39ba29cc and HimaGetDeviceData.exe/crc32:942fbcf4, and with nk.nbf only! [no radio or extrom])
I don't send MMS very often but receive them frequently, so I use MMSd to fix that!
And camera is really bad for taking video (coz it writes in WMV format), but is Ok for taking pictures

Check out the thread on radio and all versions of w2k5 at http://www.buzzdev.net and make your choice....
I'm using radio 1.17.00 and w2k5 1.60a doctooled (31mb ps) and 1gb SD card.... works fine for me.....

ok The link cleraly states that it is WM6 for Wizard, everyone is free to try port it to Atom. Do not try to upgrade using this file because you will brick your device.
It is possible to upgrade to WM6 only if you have the WM6 rom for your device, which is unavailable.

I downloaded from mediafire location and updated my atom exec, but its wm5 not wm6 ???
i just used SD card method to try downgrade back to wm5 and now the machine can't on
i tried to enter bootloader mode and PC replied communication error
can any brother teach me how to flash back the machine..

its very clear dont use SD card method for flashing ROM use DSUU installer or else u may brick ur phone and put it on the trash can :-(

Stereophonic sound over bluetooth on atom exec help
I have an atom exec and a motorola s9 bluetooth stereo headset, but i am unable to hear stereophonic sound from my atom exec, I also have a xda neo and with zoa2dp i can hear stereophonic sound on my xda neo with the same headset. my conclusion is atom exec rom cannot play stereophonic sound over bluetooth.
So please help me on my atom exec urgently pleaaaaaaase..

which rom r u using? if it is the newly released evaluation version WM6 rom.. it does have problem on a2dp... n our beloved friends Sensei Jiggs n others.. still figuring out how to solve the problem...

I accidentally did the same thing, upgraded my WM6.1 with TJ's WM6.5 for Atom EXEC... (oops)
Suprisingly, It runs very fast, Iam very excited with manila 2D and the sound is significantly louder than WM 6.5 by khoa (very happy with this). I havent try the Bluetooth yet.
However, it seems that the display has some problem, looks like in interlaced mode (see some horizontal line/texture) and flickering.
anyone did the same thing?

I installed TJ's WM6.5 for Atom Exec on my Atom. The installation was completed, but when it was time to reset, my Atom is not turning ON anymore. I thought it worked on your Atom? Do you have any solution for this?

yupz.... it will Works.
even the official wm5 for atom exec is work for atom.
and can be flashed back to original ATOM too.
use only os+extended rom upgrade, don't mess with the other stuff.
the most important is... don't play with the bootloader (EBOOT.nb0)

yeah me too, i think the display is broken, but its not, WM6.1 TJ for atom exec not support for atom black, try to upgrade with WM6.1 by kumara
