Hi,
I tried to install android 2.1 v1.3 and after I did the radio and wipe and then install,I restarted my HTC ... and then the battery went off.If I remove the battery and then I reinsert it I get that image with the phone out of the box and then it power offs itself.
If I plug my HTC to my PC,I get unknown device(that is what I was always getting) but it doesn't charge anymore. Before I tried to reinstall this,if I was pluggin it into the PC I could charge him to full battery. What should I do ?

Hi,
My HTC seems to be ruined.
I installed radio and android 2.1 v1.3 and after that it restarted itself and it blocks for 5 seconds under the image that shows a box and the phone.
I have no idea what to do with it.If I connect it to PC, I get unknown device.
I can't boot in cyanogen, neither fastboot, neither HBoot.NOTHING.It charges itself but that is all that it does.I can't turn it on,unless I remove battery and reinsert it,and then after 5 seconds of showing the image of box and the phone, the HTC shuts down.
Any idea of solving this ???
Thanks
I had a problem playing on saftestrap and lost my stock ROM.
I tried to apply a ROM via RSD and the phone started looping during boot, rebooting until the battery drained.
I cut a usb cable and plugged straight into the battery contacts, managed to put in fastboot and used the package XT910.Retail.BR_Unbrick.zip. The package worked, and via recovery and I applied the update Blur_Version.982.124.17.XT910.Brasil.en.BR.zip and it updated my android to JB 4.1.2.
Now the phone only works plugged into the wall outlet, if I disconnect the charger, it turns off immediately, even the android saying that the battery is 100% charged. Can anyone help me?
It's working now, it was a problem in the battery contacts.
Hi,
about a month ago, I managed to brick my XT910 - I was doing factory reset when I had couple of images installed (using safestrap).
The Battery went dead, as it entered a bootloop which I didn't notice.
I ordered a "Factory Cable", and now I'm able to use AP Fastboot recovery to flash a new image (4.1.2 image). As long as I'm connected with the factory cable to the computer, everything seems OK (flash succeed, I can go and setup the new system, connect to wifi...).
But - the battery never charges. As soon as I take off the factory cable, the phone dies. When I'm connecting regular charger, or regular USB cable to the computer, I get the red circle "M" logo, but it never progress - not booting and not showing the battery image.
Any idea how to solve this?
Thanks,
Ilan
Try keeping it plugged in for a few hours. It should charge.

Have tried, it was connected with both the factory cable and regular charger for few hours each times.
The battery picture (when the phone is off, but connected to power) doesn't even show up.
Any idea if the boot might have been defected? If so - any way to fix it?
I do able to go into fastboot & recovery boot options.
Thanks
Have you tried charging it through your usb port. Using the normal cable.
If nothing else works, Flash the stock ROM using RSDLite. It should fix any issue related to bad flash or anything corrupted.
Yes - tried charging with regular cable from the USB port - nothing comes on in the screen, just the led is glowing white.
I've tried to flash few stock images - 4.0.4 versions I can get flashed, and they run, but the battery icon shows a question mark (and in the system settings-> battery it says unknown).
2.3.6 images do not flash at all (I get failed in RDSlight on the first stage).
Any idea? Is there a boot only file I can flash another way.
Thanks
Hello,
I'm using GT-i8552 stock 4.1.2 (UNROOTED).
I did root my phone with 'Framaroot', the rooting was successful and SuperSU was installed properly. After this I didn't try installing any custom ROMs or any conflicting apps but still I started facing battery issues like,
1. After putting on charge, display shows that it is charging but no progress at all (it freezes at certain %)
2. When the phone is switched off and put on charge, the display just blinks up and goes off (lights on lights off) nothing else appears and no battery progress
3. Sometimes the phone charges properly to 100% but after disconnecting cable, battery status is 50-60%
The above problems occur not all the time.
The things that I tried,
1. Did unroot my phone and removed SuperSU
2. Did a factory reset from phone's settings option.
3. Got an original new battery from service center
4. Took the phone to Samsung customer care (they couldn't find any problem at all and advised that the problem must be in the charger) (I tried to charge with samsung charger, sony's charger & portable charger)
5. Changed USB cables for charging
6. Tried Battery Calibration apk by Nema
7. I think the charging port is little bit damaged but I can still get the phone to charge
Even after doing all the above things the problems still occur sometimes. Other than that the phone works fine, there is no BOOTLOOP.
When I try to boot it into recovery mode (volume up+home+switch on and release after SAMSUNG logo) but after releasing the buttons the SAMSUNG GT-i8552 logo appears and phone starts with no warning and all, it's not accessing the recovery mode or download mode too.
Is there any solution to the battery related issues or do I need to flash the stock firmware again?
I am not aware of the steps of flashing firmware, please do redirect.
Thank You!!
My xt1225 was fine , until some time ago.
Problem started there : I couldnt let it drain all the battery down or it would be a pain in the ass to charge it up.
If i let , the problem was that everytime i plug the charger in the phone would go up a second showing the charging screen and then turn off. The solution was to try to boot on bootloader or recovery and pray that it doesnt turn off, then the phone would charge a bit and back to the normal state.
The strange thing come here : one day after letting it go down to 1% (it didnt shut down but stayed at 1%), i plugged the charger in and the battery wouldnt go up past 1%. I let for hours and nothing . Then I managed to go on receovery (twrp 3.0.2) and :
The processor temp was something like 4293089048 C , the battery still 1%.
After some restarts on recovery i noticed that the battery would sometimes change a bit of the value , and i plugged the charger and managed to charge up battery to 100% in recovery only.
Now , after charging the phone a bit i decided to reflash the stock rom (was using aex) but i noticed that I can`t get my system recognized on usb. Neither on Bootloader , recovery , or system .
Anybody can help me =(?
Obs : Still have acess to system (with a custom rom , aex) , and i can flash things on recovery

First of all, it seems like you have posted in the wrong section.
The XT1225 has a dedicated forum available here. So, the correct section for your thread should be here.
Secondly, it sounds like you're having a battery hardware issue. The battery is likely failing. If you can, you should replace it.
It might also be a USB Cable or USB connector issue. So, you should first change the USB Cable. If it doesn't help, change the battery. If that fails too, then you must ultimately change the USB connector (better take it to a repair center).
Before any of these, you can try to calibrate the battery with a calibration app, but I seriously doubt that will work. It's still worth the try!
